I had a great time with Angelo. His English is very good, and he is a good conversationalist, telling about the background of the dishes, and overall engaging. He definitely got me to try foods I had not yet tried, and I had been in Peru for 10 days by then. He also gave me some good restaurant recommendations for later. I would recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your trip, so you can learn about what you might like to try throughout your stay. My only complaint is the website advertised 3 hours and 10 tastings, and it was more like 2 hours and 5-6 tastings. Great experience overall

Angelo was a fantastic guide. The meeting point was easy to find and he was there at the agreed time. He is very knowledgeable about the local area and has incredible experience working in the restaurant business all over the world. We had a personal emergency, that had nothing to do with the tour, and were unable to complete the tour. However, Angelo was super helpful in getting us the help we needed. We were very grateful because we would have had a hard time communicating on our own in this situation. Afterwards he even offered to continue the tour even though we were beyond the time the tour originally would have ended. Angelo is very professional, friendly, and genuinely a great person who we felt very comfortable with. We would 100% recommend taking his food tour!!What an experience!!

Angelo was great and tried to get me to try food that I haven't already tried since I've been here. Pretty tall order as I had tried most everything, including all the street food. He took me to San Pedro market and the San Blas market and was able to fulfill the task. I also went back to a place that wasn't open during our tour that he was going to take me to and it was amazing. Great job Angelo!Angelo was great!

Angelo was the perfect local to do a food tour with! We went to the San Pedro market, tried fruit samples and juices, chocolate, and many more items! (I don't want to spoil it) He's immensely knowledgeable on the history of Cusco and we felt like it was a food AND history tour! My sister and I took a Cusco food tour with Fabrizio in May 2024. He was on time, pleasant, and a wealth of local information. Went to a "hole in the wall" restaurant for lunch. It was the best food we ate in Peru. After Fabrizio took us into a local neighborhood to a local estabilishment for three different desserts. All were great. We had a very limited time to enjoy Cusco before moving on to our next destination and we knew the best way to get the most out of it would be with a local so we booked a tour. We had a 4 hour food tour with Fabrizio that was so good – he was warm and engaging and encouraged us to expand our food horizons. We ate local, traditional food like chicharones, and stuffed peppers, lots of potatoes, corn & cheese, and the fermented corn beverage Chicca, and for dessert, picarones. Everything was delicious! We walked all over Cusco – not just in the historic district – and Fabrizio gave us lots of info about the local culture. We had a tour yesterday with Fabrizio. Short review was he was outstanding and I would recommend anyone with the chance to explore a city he guides in, do it. First, our tour guide was Reynaldo as Fabrizio had an accident and was kind enough to set up our tour with a different guide. Reynaldo was wonderful, he was on time to our meeting place and we jumped right into our food tour. We went to so many wonderful places and tried so many new foods that we would not have found/tried on our own. fruit smoothies @ San Pedro Marcket, Chicha morada and causa Saltenas, adobo, alpaca burgers, desserts, coffees, yummy fruit shots... just to name a few. We were so full by the end of the tour so I highly recommend not eating beforehand. We learned so much history about the neighborhoods and Cusco. We like food tours in all the countries we visit and this was one of our favorites. Wonderful tour, I recommend it 100%Highly Recommended, wonderful tour

What an amazing tour guide. Our dude was our crutches but he powered through our tour like a champ. And we went up and down steps everywhere. Even with so many obstacles, he always had a big smile on his face. Fabrizio was great! We had thought we would simply walk around the main tourists areas and sample various fruits, snacks, etc. Instead, he led us on an exciting journey through town, giving us lots of history and interesting information along the way and leading us to places that few tourists get to experience. Instead of stopping at crowded shops, we dined at small, local restaurants. Rather than just getting small bites of fruits and veggies, we ordered entire dishes and ate until we were full. Fabrizio chose most of the Peruvian dishes that we ordered, but also included some that my wife and I were interested in trying. Everything felt very relaxed and natural, like we were hanging out with an old friend in a new town. We did this tour on our first full day in Cusco, so he was understanding that we wanted to take things nice and slow with many breaks. If you are looking to have a cool cultural experience where you get to go where the locals go and eat what the locals eat, then Fabrizio is your guy! This food tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. Fabrizio was an incredible host. He is so knowledgeable about the history of Cusco and the customs of Peruvians. The food tasting menu was varied and plentiful. We tasted soup, fried pork, Guinea pig, beef heart, corn, potatoes, tamales, stuffed peppers, local beers and for desert we had picarones (Peruvian sweet potato and pumpkin doughnuts). All the food was absolutely delicious, and Fabrizio also checked in on our preferences and ordered accordingly. We had a ton of fun with Fabrizio. He was our introduction to Cusco, and we couldn't have asked for a better welcome. We ate at three different spots and got to sample a ton of different dishes. We spent a wonderful afternoon with Fabrizio eating, drinking and talking about life in Cusco. What made it even more special was the experience of being amongst local people and their culture and traditions around food. From the first communication we felt reassured and knew with Fabrizio as our guide we would be in very good hands. His knowledge of Cusco, both in terms of its history and food made for some fascinating conversations and we had the opportunity to choose items off the menu to our own tastes as well as enjoy some of Fabrizio’s recommendations. The highlight was dessert, Picarones which had been a childhood favourite of my partner! Our afternoon ended with a brief walk through and introduction to the San Pedro market which we will definitely be returning to during our stay. We had the pleasure of taking a foodie tour with Fabrizio yesterday, and it was one of the best decisions we made during our first day in Cusco. What can I say - Fabrizio was the ultimate local tour guide! Adobo, cheviche, local beers, j and picarones - Cusco's finest donuts. Every dishes was delicious and we truly ate like locals. Our restaurant hosts treated Fabrizio and I like family. He is extremly knowledgeable of the dishes we ate and the history of the sites we passed along the way. Harry was the nicest guy. He spoke English fluently and we immediately felt comfortable going around Cusco with him. He took us to the market where we tried various local snacks and then took us to a few local spots for empanadas, chicharron and dessert/coffee. These are not spots we would have found on our own. He even accommodated our request to see the San Blas neighborhood and recommended some restaurants to us after the tour was over by WhatsApp. He was super nice, the food was tasty and we had an overall great time!The nicest guide!

Having Fabrizio as our guide was like having a friend ready waiting for you in another country. He waited for us to find parking, waited for our 3rd friend to join after another tour. He was extremely accommodating with us and very laid back. Not to mention he took us to amazing restaurants we wouldn’t have known to stop at otherwise and showed us many beautiful interesting landmarks. Once we finished, he even took me to a local coffee shop so that I could get a gift for a friend back home. Now comes the extreme over and above effort I’ve never gotten from another tour guide. Unilabs really messed up our covid tests when we were leaving the country within 12 hours to go back home. Our results were mixed with other individuals and trying to explain that in another language wasn’t happening. We called Fabrizio to see if he could help and HE DID. To say we were grateful is an understatement. So, there’s no exaggeration when I say it was like having a close personal friend in another country. We are already singing his praises to other friends that want to visit Peru. He was a very big highlight of our trip, and if we ever get to host him in the US, we will do the same for him.
