We did the children tour allong the wall with Uygur. We had our two children, aged 9 and 12, with us and had a wonderfull two hours. Uygur was nice, helpfull and really great at engaging the kids. One of the highlights was drawing with chalk on the wall. Highly recommend!!!Fantastic tour and guide

This tour was a high point of our trip to Berlin. Our guide Uygur was very knowledgeable about the art we examined and gave us interesting background information about the the street art scene in Kreuzberg. He even gave us restaurant recommendations and some fascinating info about the Turkish community of Berlin. All in all it was a great tour and everyone in my party enjoyed it very much. Elisabetta was fun and engaging and knowledgeable, but also able to listen. The tour was not so much about the museums, but more about the more hidden history of Berlin. Thus, it turned out to be much better as a result. Heerlijke wandel tocht gemaakt met Urgur (en zijn 12 jarige dochter). Begonnen bij Anne Frank museum om een indruk te krigen van de vele streetartists hun manier van communiceren. Duurzaam, effectief en heel inspirerend. Uygur's dochter wist de artisten op de muur tussen al die duizenden afbeeldingen feillos aan te wijzen ! Jmmy C, maar ook Mimi the Cat. Het museum is aan te bevelen, weggestopt in een steegje. Zegt dat wat? Vandaar op ons verzoek naar Kreuzberg, daar waar UYGUR als (voormalig?) bewoner veel van wist. Het " little Istanbul" , waar Engels en Turks de voortaal zijn. Veel geschiedenis en een wijk nog steeds in beweging. Wilt u een ander beeld krijgen van Berlijn, doe deze wijk aan. Uygur took us to several great places to sample Turkish and Lebanese foods. Every dish was very tasty and Uygur went out of his way to make sure that we were tasting foods that we had not tried before. I had an amazing tour with Anastasia!! I learned so much about both historical and modern day Berlin! I can’t do this tour justice in a review! Anastasia made me feel so comfortable, we immediately had a great rapport, I felt like we molded the tour together (she had a great tour laid out but based on my interests she adjusted some of the destinations and timing) and I had some amazing local treats along the way! She has a passion for street art and some of the graffiti that would’ve faded into the ambiance of Berlin now sticks out to me whenever I see it and I understand the meaning a lot more now! Anastasia made us discover the real underground Berlin. She has a real knowledge of street art and its artists. She showed us how Berlin is changing and gave us her point of view as a local. She talked about alternatives groups back in the soviet day, how they were fighting the system and how you could still sense that culture in some neighborhoods. Laat ik het zo uitdrukken ze is. vriendelijk aardig maar is geen local. Ze woont in Berlijn maar spreekt geen Duits en Engels met een zwaar accent. Het kost moeite dat te volgen. Er ontbreekt basis en geschiedkundige achtergrond kennis . Alsof je een Libanees een rondleiding laat doen in in uw Lichtstad Eindhoven en de geschiedenis van Philips niet kent. Hij/Zij leeft er al geruime tijd maar heeft geen Nederlands geleerd en ook geen vriendschap met Nederlanders gesloten. De vrienden van Anastasia spreken ook allemaal Engels. Zwak.
