5. Hase-Dera

   Renowned for its 11-headed Kannon statue, this site also boasts a stunning garden. Nearby, you can savor various types of Japanese cuisine, including Soba noodles, Ramen, and authentic traditional dishes

6. Great Buddha

   11 meters in height and weighing over 100 ton Great Buddha is located in Kotoku-in garden. One of the symbolic spots in Kamakura.

7. Hokokuji Bamboo temple

   A beautiful and serene temple where you can enjoy a traditional Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by tranquil bamboo groves

8. Tsurugaoka-Hachimangu shrine

   Main shrine built by Minamoto Yoritomo in 1180, who was the founder of Kamakura Samurai government.

9. Komachi Dori shopping street

   A lively shopping street where you can sample a variety of Japanese foods and find unique souvenirs

10. Ending point

Kader was really personable and nice; also punctual. Spoke very good English. The tour was ok—observation tower was cool but the Sankeien garden was a bust. way way too far to go on public transport (45 minutes each way ) and the garden was not well maintained—-just blah. Suggest skipping this long slog and going to Chinatown, gondolas and the amazing sushi restaurant we ended up at. We Uber’ed back to town because the bus took up the entire tour window, that cost us $35USD. He is amazing but do your homework and customize and stay downtown instead of the long slog. Fun but oh so hot
