We had a lovely time with Zack a few days ago. The amount of food we consumed was beyond our expectations and we struggled to finish it all! Eating Indian food is part of our normal diet at home (Australia) so it was a great experience to eat authentic food as restaurants in western countries are just not the same. We tried a verity of different dishes from the melting pot that is Malaysia cuisine. We would really recommend Zack as a guide who was very knowledgable and friendly. We went on a food tour with Zack in Kuala Lumpur and it was amazing! He showed us all the best food spots in Bukit Bintang, and the kids loved it. Especially things like a big dim sum, unexpectedly nice tasting fish on a stick called otak otak and dosa with honey in a cone shape. The streets were bustling and it was a very lively atmosphere, definitely adding up to the experience. Zack was so knowledgeable and passionate about food, And he really made the kids part of the tour. This way he made our day! We had an amazing food tour yeaterday with host Zack in Kuala Lumpur. He really knew every foodspot and where to find the best ones. Our evening tour was located in bukit bintang and mainly centered around jalan alor. It was just great to sit in those typical food places or eatthe local street food at one of the many food stalls. Zack knew everything about it and served us tastings from the famous dim sum to the best Malay saté and delicious Nasi lomak. But also more exotic street food specialties like fish in leaves and a difficult to describe desert with coconut. The best thing was the atmosphere of the Malaysian food stalls in combination with the enthusiasm and stories from Zack. He really made our day! Thanks Zack!

Zack was very nice and I was thinking about what to write. We have been 10 minutes late but the trip was less than two hours. We expected more stories - to be honest…. Nothing to do with Zack but the food was not very interesting and neither the trip. We do not want to be unfair, because we did a Streetfood tour in Vietnam and you really cannot compare it. Maybe the other tour is nicer and offers better food. To be honest a little bit disappointing

We were not happy with this tour. We had a hard time getting to the meeting place because it was storming outside. Zack advised that he would wait for us but would charge us 10 euros per hour extra for the wait. We arrived 40 minutes past the meeting time. He only took us to 5 places, all within a few blocks of each other, but then dawdled to the point where the time ran over and then tried to get us to pay extra, when he could easily have finished early, much less on time. He was also oddly racist, odd since he is a person of color, and ragged on Nigerians and how terrible they are the entire tour. We felt that he was very unprofessional and this was one of the worst tours we've ever taken. I do not recommend.Worst tour ever - avoid this guy

My family of 4 (2 of them kids at 10 and 12) had the most lovely time with Zack. He took us around Jalan Alor and the streets around. We tried so many new flauvors and tastes and we all had a blast! Zack himself is a very sweet man, with lots of love for food from all over the world. We ate Chinese, India, Malay, Indonesian and so on. So if you and your tastebuds wanna have e good time in KL, Zack is your man! Amazing evening

This was a great introduction on my first night in KL. Great to see Kampung Baru in its busy-ness at Ramadhan. Watering storms roll in from the helipad was a real highlight. Zack was a wonderful guide, patient and very accommodating. I had trouble with the Monorail and was quite late for our appointment and Zack was very gracious when we finally did meet and he still gave me enough time. The experience of going around with someone who knew the people and the food and the area was tremendous. We also shared quite a few interests and so he was excellent company as well. There was never any pressure to do things quickly, he gave me enough time, and I would thoroughly recommend him as a guide to the culinary delights of Kuala Lumpur.Local food experience
