We loved our tour with Miriam. She was so passionate about her city, funny, chatty and full of life. We booked as a family of four. The children loved her stories and the fact that she listened with interest to all they had to say and answered ALL their questions. She had us tasting lots of food but also showed us some hidden gems of the city, told us about the history and made us feel right at home. Mariagrazia was a perfect guide for the day. She met us at our hotel in Naples and worked with us on the agenda for the day. We did not have any "must do" for the day but were able to describe our idea of a "good day" and she did the rest. The whole day was amazing. Mariagrazia was full of information about the region. She navigated the roads, stops, and restaurant for us. I really only have glowing things to say about the experience. She was also very gracious with our two young daughters that wanted some beach time and to do some singing in the car. The small group of 8 worked well and we got to spend a bit more time in both Amalfi and Positano. The Amalfi coast is spectacular and this tour is worth the money. Davide recommended a great bistro. From the beginning of planning Davide was attentive and responded quickly. He put together everything we wanted and checked in to make sure all was ok. Our driver, Antonio, was outstanding. He made modifications as needed on the fly to make everything in his control as perfect as possible. They both wanted us to have the best experience possible. We loved all of our stops including Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius and wonderful wine tasting on one day. Another day was Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi. Antonio suggested a Grotto stop and we ate so glad we did it. They were prompt, courteous, caring and personal. We highly recommend them.Great day trips from Naples

We literally signed up for this food tour 3 hours before. Miriam was an absolutely wonderful guide. She took us all over historic Naples to sample street food and drink, things we would not have experienced on our own. She even helped us find the metro to take us to our car. Mariagrazia was very nice, but she was more a driver than a tour guide. This is what the itinerary said what was in store for us: Check out from viewpoints, nature, and cultural gems such as Villa Oplonti, Positano and Amalfi plus other stops your local host has prepared for you along the way. Unfortunately, the description did not match the actual tour. We had three stops and got back to Naples 45 minutes before the tour was to end. Stop 1 was to try fresh mozzarella and cheese. Loved this! Our next stop was Positano but it seemed like she really didn't want to be go there and she stayed in the car for the hour that we explored the seaside town. Then it was off to Amalfi where we ate lunch at her cousin's restaurant that has an incredible water view. It also was the most expensive restaurant we ate at during our entire trip. After our lunch we were told we could explore the town for an hour. Our tour guide stayed behind in the restaurant and we went out again on our own without a guide. Since we had paid for a tour guide, we did not research what to do in the towns because that is what a tour guide is for, right? We never visited Villa oplonti and the description of the tour states that tickets for Villa Oplontis are included. Just OK

We had a great day. We didn’t have any previous ideas of what to see other than watching a TV show about the area. Mariagrazia knew the show and took us to places better than the show. She showed us Her Amalfi coast. Every where we went we got special treatment because we were with Mariagrazia. From flexible restaurant reservations to preferred water taxi’s. I highly recommend. We had a great time with Mariagrazia. Her communication was great prior to our day with her. She was also able to adjust the pickup spot to make it easier for us. While on our trip, she was awesome at pointing out history and local points of interest. She took us to a cheese factory and we were able to see mozzarella being made and we even were able to try the cheese right from the production line. You can’t get any fresher than that! She also took us to try some local sweets that were amazing. I could go on and on as we experienced much more than what I have noted, however, I wanted to at least call the places that we would have never experienced if we were a part of a big tour group. It was fun because she engaged all of us and had some fun conversations with our kids and our youngest about video games. This was our third time using With Locals and it did not disappoint. It is so much better as Mariagrazia didn’t take the “normal” tourist route which would have added a lot of driving time and less time experiencing the local culture. We cannot recommend her enough as we had a great day with her! Fun experience seeing the Amalfi coast

Miriam was unable to lead our tour due to a personal issue so she arranged for Giovanni to cover for her. Having read Miriam's reviews we were a bit disappointed but after meeting Giovanni and doing the tour with him we were very happy. We had a wonderful and relaxing day with Mariagrazia as she drove us to see the towns along the Amalfi Coast. We met up with her at the Central Naples train station and then headed to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi where we wandered a bit I. Town and enjoyed a delicious seaside lunch and Ravello, where we toured the Villa Rufala which to me was the most beautiful location. She gave us lots of information along the way about the culture, the history, the sea and land, the food, seems like everyone knew her everywhere we stopped as well, which was fun. Heading back we stopped in the side of the road for the best lemon ice I’ve ever had. And she helped my husband find the sunglasses he was hoping to buy while in Italy nearby, too. Miriam was an awesome host. Before the tour even started she contacted me to verify the time, location to meet and food preferences. On the day of the tour she was on time and whilst my wife and I were a bit hesitant of what to expect, from the moment she arrived we felt like we were meeting up with an old friend. Miriam truly represents the spirit of Naples, warm, passionate and full of energy. She took us through the bustling neighborhoods and markets, taught us about history, the importance of spirituality to Naples and most importantly had us try delicious Neapolitan food. It was fantastic getting to experience Naples through her eyes and getting to eat delicious food along the way. I highly recommend this tour if you're interested in getting away from regular tours that feel more like a documentary and touring Italy with a local celebrity...;). Thanks again Miriam. P.s.
