Ouidad was welcoming, knowledgeable and thoughtful. She took us to the Bahia palace and then took us to a variety of places in Marrakech. She was very happy to answer all our questions about history and culture. Her English was excellent and she was so easy to get along with. We finished with a delicious drink and snack and a short visit to a Berber pharmacy where they were super informative and there was no pressure to buy. In fact, we decided not to buy anything and it was not at all awkward. A really lovely morning and great introduction to Marrakech.Fantastic Introduction to Marrakesh

We booked our highlight tour with Adil for our first day in Marrakech. Adil was really happy, friendly and engaged us all (including our 15 year old) with his knowledge and facts about his city. Adil’s tour took in Bahia Palace (extra entrance fee which we knew at time of booking) which really brought the place to life, and gave us so much more than if we’d visited the palace alone. Having been to Marrakech before, I would have liked to have seen some more of the hidden areas in the souks, but only a small point. I would recommend a tour with Adil, especially if you’ve got children or teenagers to entertain. Thank you Adil - it was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with you.Great highlights of Marrakech

The tour was very good, but Hassan was an hour and 15 minutes late, so we didn’t have a very good start. He took us to some interesting places and provided some good information. My wife and I made a last minute booking for a historical and hidden gems tour of Marrakech with Redouan for our last afternoon / evening in the city, and it was unforgettable! Redouan shared some history of the city and its quarters and he took us to some smaller / quieter places away from the main routes of the Medina / souks. If you are up for it, he also can take you to some higher quality vendors, co-operatives, and shops where the owners are more upfront with their wares and show you how they construct items. The highlight was our visit to Madrasa Ben Youssef...we were rushing to get there before they closed and we had just missed the closure when Redouan saw the curator on the back of a moped. The curator instructed the moped driver to take us back and open the breathtaking school just for us. We had a lovely dinner above the main square overlooking the main mosque...Redouan called ahead to ensure they had some certain dishes he thought we would try. The Mayor was a fabulous host, and we highly recommend him! The Mayor of Marrakech

Het is aan te raden een gids te nemen in het centrum van Marrakesh, en Redouan is gewoonweg fantastisch! Je krijgt het volledige verhaal over de stad te horen, zelfs nuttige informatie over Marokko in het algemeen, en plekken te zien waar je als toerist zelf niet komt. Hij geeft info, brengt je naar de juiste plaatsen, maar bovenal word je meegetrokken in zijn fierheid als Marokkaan. This was our first trip to Marrakesh and Aimad really helped us get our bearings, and understand the history and culture of the city. He was friendly, flexible (we said where we wanted to go and he provided a tailor made tour for us) and knowledgable, bringing to life history, religion and some more modern day points of interest. We were four friends visiting Marrakech for the first time and did not know what to expect so had booked a trip with Redouan for our first day, prior to leaving UK. This was absolutely perfect. Redouan is the ideal tour guide, giving us information, leading us through the amazing sights, telling us the history and customs and also having the patience and calmness so that we didnt feel rushed, as we stopped to look at things at our own pace. We would all absolutely recommend any tours with Redouan and wished that we had been staying longer so we could have booked more. We will definitely be back ! Excellent !!

Een echte aanrader om deze tour te doen. Mohamed kent de stad op zijn duimpje. Hij bracht ons naar plekken die je zelf niet kunt vinden. Hij vertelde ons van alles over de geschiedenis van Marrakech. Super interessant. Mohamed is een zeer goede gids kan goed vertellen en is zeer vriendelijk en netjes. Ook gaf hij ons nog tips wat te doen in de overige dagen. I’d suggest if one is a first timer to the red city, getting a hold of Rachid is a great way to start exploring….. Friendly, adaptable, knowledgeable and more than helpful in all aspects - particularly when negotiating the souks. 3 hours + flew by, and gave us our bearings for the weekend. We had a wonderful introduction to Marrakech with Omar. He's very kind, knowledgeable, and happily answered all of our questions. He was wonderful with our 10 year old and made sure she was also enjoying the experience and learning things. His tour is a really good mix of making sure we saw the things that "tourists should see" as well as taking us off the beaten path. We saw areas of the Medina that we never would have found on our own (and probably couldn't find again if we tried!) Hassan was a great guide - you won't go wrong in booking him! Although I had another tour the night before, that drug me through the souks, Hassan understood that I wanted a slower, more thorough look and did not simply repeat the prior tour of highlights. This wasn't a "see everything" approach but he gave me a more local, expert experience. He showed me some behind-the-scenes and took me off the beaten track. Although he did take me to his favorite vendors, he was okay that I didn't purchase a rug or some shoes and told me several times that he just wanted to show me the real artisan made stuff and not the lower quality. But...then...I found myself in a store with an antique teapot and my wallet opened. He was good, at that point, to help me negotiate a better price than I would have done myself. I felt comfortable, his English was great, his pace was good, and I'd totally recommend him! A personal, local experience
