I still can’t believe I was charged for this! We were paraded from one chocolate store to another a given a sample bag of chocolates at each store. I had expected a tour of local food establishments but only got one tray of cheese and saddle beef with a couple glasses of wine. What a rip off!!!Terrible waste of money!!!

First…Shiva was an exceptional, intelligent, and accommodating tour guide. (Rescheduled due to rain and constantly kept in contact) We learned a lot in 2.5 hours. HOWEVER… guide was listed for $127/pp for 3 hours. When booked, I was charged over €450 for my wife and I. After meeting near the UN district, I drove the 3 of us to Old Town. Parked in a construction site because it was “free”, as recommended by our guide, parking is hard to find. (My fault for not saying it made us feel uncomfortable, but we were with a local 😳) Our tour only lasted 2.5 hrs because our guide had an appointment. (The entire time worrying about where we parked). As we departed, our guide recommended we return to our car as soon as possible, about a 15 minute walk, in case they lock up the site and are gone for the day. Price did Not Equal Experience

Myself and my wife were visiting Geneva for the first time and didn’t really know a lot about it. The service Shiva provided was superb. She kept in contact regularly with us beforehand and met us in our hotel lobby to commence our tour from there. We went places and saw things that we would never have found on our own. She also told us other places to visit whilst we were there and took us to the train station to show us how to purchase our tickets to get to some of these places. Great tour showing us both the historic side of Geneva and even the chocolate shops. Very friendly and very knowledgeable. would highly recommend using Shiva for your tour. Superb knowledge and superb guide

Shiva is clearly passionate about Geneva and knows a great deal of the history. The walking tour part of the city was interesting and informative. We stopped a few places for food, including cheese, some canapes, some wine and a little chocolate. I think the three of us on the tour were hoping for a little bit more of a variety of experiences in that regard. I would have liked something that was a bit more distinctively Swiss that was otherwise hard to get - raclette or fondue perhaps. I would definitely book with Shiva for a private walking or history tour, just not a food tour again.Great "tour," average "food."
