Stefano’s tour is one of a kind. Stefano’s charismatic and welcoming personality is only outshined by the vast knowledge he has about the LGBT+ history in BCN. This was one of, if not the best, walking tours I have been on. I had no idea of the vast and intricate history of the LGBT+ community and how it is interwoven into so many important buildings, movements, and periods. I found my self looking at a few free days in Barcelona on my own and found Stefano’s profile when looking for a tour. After some prompt back and forth, Stefano proposed a dual experience which would highlight local LGBTQ hostoy, some food tastings, and introductions to some gay/queer bars. It was an incredible day where I learned a ton, saw a lot of the sites I had wanted to see, amd ate and drank in some great places. It's definitely not what I expected but so much more! Unlike your typical lGbt bar tour, Stefano actually walked me into places of great value and meaningful for the history of our community. He didn't sugar-coated nothing but touched everything with the upmost care, covering all the most interesting insights of the city. There were places where I felt I was so moved where I could have cried, others of immense joy. He also provided me with good tips for places to go and told me so much more details and history than needed in any tour or with any kind of guide you can find. I coordinated this private tour with Stefano way back in early 2022. Originally it was me going and then a friend ended up coming along as well. The first part of the tour was of LGBTQ+ nightlife in the city, he took us to some of his favorite bars - ones that were definitely not obvious when you open Google Maps and it was amazing. There are so many queer spaces for every different type or flavor you are looking for. His knowledge of the history is so fascinating and he is also incredible passionate about what he does. The second part of the tour was of the LGBTQ+ history of the city and oh my goodness - Spain seems to put other countries to shame. From Sonia to Ocana - we walked through the streets and no place was left uncovered. Stefano is such a kind and caring guide - I was very tired with sore feet (not his fault!) but that didn't detract from the knowledge he shared and the enthusiasm for what the city has done to what it plans to do to memorialize the LGBTQ+ community. Hopefully I will get to meet him again in the future - a life changing experience. Thank you for making it everything I hoped for.An Amazing Experience

This guided tour which I did alone with Stefano was better than I had expected. It was a 3 hour walking tour which was fairly easy. Stefano is multilingual and speaks English well. We walked thorough the Born and Gothic districts, visiting several local museums and churches. His knowledge of local and historical occurrences that happened before, during, and after the Franco regime were interesting, and enlightening. Stefano was personable and able to answer numerous questions and tailored the tour to specific areas I was interested in. Stefano was a fantastic guide and I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested! He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a great story. We got in late to Barcelona and weren’t sure if we could make our original meeting time, but Stefano happily pushed us back and met us at our hotel instead of the original meeting spot to make it easier for us. The tour was simultaneously a great primer to the city in general as well as the specialized LGBTQ history of Barcelona. Stefano is wonderful and set us up with great food and museum recommendations.
