It was simply great to spend a good 3 hours with Tom. Tom is highly knowledgeable when it comes down to walk around the London swinging sixties and seventies areas. He is a scholar in his field and vulgarizes everything well. A two-legged encyclopedia! Culture, music and history were all intertwined on this fabulous tour. Tom was a knowledgeable and friendly guide who communited with ua ahead of time to tailor the tour to our interests and needs. My fiancé uses a wheelchair and Tom was very considerate when planning the tour so that it would be handicap accessible. We also brought our two youngest children (13 and 9) and they loved visiting Abbey Road Studios and signing the wall. Tom was very knowledgable and interesting to talk to; his passion for music was evident from our first interaction. Tom even recommended a great pub near our end point and made reservations for us. Just wow! Tom planned and put together an amazing personal guided tour for us. He carefully took into account the fact my husband is unwell and in a wheelchair and designed our tour accordingly, considering transport, bathroom stops and flexible timing in case my husband felt tired. Tom knows his stuff and presents it really well. He is a pleasant person to be with and it doesnt feel like he is the “guide” and you are his customers. Wir haben eine dreistündige Stadtführung mit Tom gemacht. Tom ist sehr angenehm und freundlich. We spent a wonderful morning with Tom exploring the hidden gems of London. Unfortunately, he was at a disadvantage (our fault) because his tour was our 4th in four days. Nevertheless, we immensely enjoyed his vast knowledge and passion of history in London. We loved his anecdotal stories about past individual events and characters. Tom was fantastic! He was on time and took us to all the places we wanted to see and so much more. He was wonderful with our children ages 11 and 14. He also was knowledgeable about the history of London. We learned so much and most importantly had a great day with our family. Tom is a great host and very knowledgeable about a big variety of topics! I booked this breakfast tour because I wanted to experience a quote from my favourite British Autor in the most local way possible: “They don't go in for the fancy or exotic, but stick to conventional food like flightless bird embryos, minced organs in intestine skins, slices of hog flesh and burnt ground grass seeds dipped in animal fats; or, as it is known in their patois, egg, sausage, bacon and a fried slice of toast.” Tom turned it into an incredible journey with lots of stories, local facts, awesome food and amazing views!
