Bibiana was a wonderful tour guide, very warm and friendly. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She made the building and the art come alive for us as she customized the tour to suit our needs. She was very attentive and knew all the elevator routes in the Louvre to help minimize the amount of stairs for my dad, which was very kind. Thanks to Bibiana, my family and I had the opportunity to spend a very pleasant evening at the Louvre. Bibiana took care of buying the tickets in advance (which on our day were free and we didn't have to pay) and quickly helped us skip all the lines. We then decided together on the visit that best suited our needs considering that we only had two hours and also a teenager with us. Bibiana is very knowledgeable and passionate about art and was very patient in answering all our questions. Her enthusiasm was contagious and made us want to return for a more in-depth visit. We loved our time with Bibiana! She was so sweet and did such a good job making the Louvre interesting to our 11, 14 and 17 year olds! We learned a lot and had a good time. Booked a private tour guide for the Louvre through WithLocals for our honeymoon in Paris. Such an amazing experience to see iconic works of art, but also to get to know the history and importance of these pieces. Hugo was professional and overwhelmingly knowledgeable, but made the learning experience laid back and loads of fun. His English and education is impressive to say the least! We chose to book a time slot at the Louvre on a Friday evening and had the unique experience of having the museum “nearly” all to ourselves. Hugo made sure to show us the must see exhibits as well as the historically or artistically most important works as well. The tour of the D'Orsay with Julien was great! First, Julien offered to buy the tickets for us before the tour to save time (we, of course, reimbursed him for the tickets) - it was wonderful that we could just meet him at the entrance and walk into the museum. Once the tour began, Julien's knowledge of the artists and their works was incredible and he kept us engaged throughout the time. We felt that we saw and learned so much during our time together. And when we needed a little break during the tour, Julien was so accomodating and immediately pivoted to explaining other art pieces to us while we rested. Communication with Julien prior to the day of the tour was great! He kept us informed of all of the important details, including the place to meet him on the day of the tour. He purchased our admission tickets to the Louvre in advance, and was waiting in the line to enter the museum before it opened. Once it opened we very quickly made our way to see the Mona Lisa and it gave us a great view before the crowds arrived. He continued yes to point out the highlights of the Louvre and explained a lot of detail in the paintings to really help us understand the artists perspective. We started touring from the foundation of the Louvre understanding how the palace turned into a great museum before maneuvering between the most iconic exhibits of the Louvre. My family and I had a memorable two hours with Fernanda seeing the highlights of the Louvre. We loved her positive energy, her storytelling, and her knowledge of the Louvre and its works of art. Our family benefited greatly from Fe’s knowledge and expertise in art history. When we were greeted by a strike at the Louvre at the beginning of our scheduled tour with Fe, she didn’t miss a beat and used the opportunity to give us an outdoor tour of the grounds and surrounding areas, along with in-depth explanation of French history and the museum. Later, when we were allowed to enter the museum, Fe made up for lost time by bringing us on a whirlwind tour of the highlights of the museum, including the Mona Lisa to the immense delight of our youngest family members. Paola and her tour were ah-mazing! We toured the Louvre with her and her knowledge about so many pieces, the building itself, the artists, literally everything, was exceptional. She also came equipped with listening devices for each of us to wear in one ear so that we could hear her even if we were a little distance away. We booked a last-minute cycling tour—just about an hour and a half before the start—and couldn’t have been more excited. We asked to skip the usual tourist spots and see some of the more local, off-the-beaten-path areas. Zyggy totally got it and quickly customized the route for us. We rode along the Seine, past the Louvre, through the Marais, Île Saint-Louis, past Notre-Dame, and into the beautiful streets of Saint-Germain. Midway through, we took a quick break at a cozy little café for a much-needed coffee. The ride was a blast—we’re both super comfortable on e-bikes, and it was such a fun way to explore the city. Zyggy also gave us some great local restaurant tips and even made a reservation for us that night. It really felt like we got the true Paris local experience. We had an awkward start through no fault of Emilie’s. The Lourve opened an hour late and there was at least a couple thousand people in line. Emilie kept us comfortable and entertained. She also helped keep our spot as second in line while countless other groups tried push their way to the front or “make friends” at the head of the line. Once inside Emilie gave us a wonderful tour and even spent extra time with us to make up for the late start. Highly recommend her!Emilie is the best!
