Thank you Sophie for engaging our 3 children aged 13, 10 and 8 years old in a treasure hunt of information around the Louvre. Our children were quite tired and had done a lot of sightseeing over the past week. Sophie had them interested and intrigued throughout the entire tour. Museums can be exhausting. Especially for an 8yr old with jet lag. Sophie knows how to keep kids involved and excited and engaged the whole time. And i was learning too! She is great with kids and has such an incredible energy. Absolutely do this tour! Sophie was fabulous

We were a large group traveling together, 3 families, 15 people in total. Age ranging from 10-68. The Louvre was overwhelmingly busy the day we went early July, but thanks to Sophie, she kept as guided and on track to see some of the best the Louvre has to offer. It is impossible to see everything in the Louvre, but Sophie's knowledge about the history of the art and statues was very interesting and she was very engaing. My 10 year old love trying to solve the clues that were given to us. Some of the teens in our group (tough crowd) were not interested in learning but just looking. I personally say you can only get out of a tour what you put into it. The younger adults (early 20's) left the tour because they just wanted to blast through the entire museum to say they saw it all. Many of the adults thourougly enjoyed this tour, and my husband and I, even though having been to the Louvre 3 times now, learned more with Sophie that day than we ever have wandering on our own. Sophie gave us a scavenger hunt tour of the the Louvre with our 4 and 6 year old daughters!! She made the museum a creative adventure and came prepared with so many fun tools to make the experience captivating for the girls (and us!!). Our small kids were enthralled for 2 hours straight (when does this happen in a museum??). Sophie was fun and knowledgeable, creative and ultra prepared! The Louvre and the crowds there can be overwhelming but Sophie met us and we quickly entered the museum, were shown to cloak room lockers and then taken on a great personlised tour, capturing art works that were all very interesting and relevant to our areas of interest . She managed to engage our 3 year old and stretch our 12 year old who has extensive knowledge of Greek Roman and Norse mythology. We saw the Monna Lisa and we wrapped up in time for lunch. What a truly once in a lifetime experience!! Sophie went above and beyond to ensure our morning was an experience to remember. She touched base with us the day before to ask about our daughters age (and reading ability) to ensure that our “treasure hunt” was age appropriate. We really appreciated this attention to detail. Probably most amazing was her ability to guide us to directly to the Mona Lisa with absolutely no wait. The Louvre can be overwhelming and she made it accessible to our entire family. Sophie was very kind and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the Paris strikes caused the Louvre to open a bit later, so she had us meet later by Notre Dame and we spent an hour outside the Louvre that would have been better spent inside. Once we got through the line, she was able to take us to see quite a bit, but left us as soon as her time was up. For $90 plus the tickets which we had to pay to her on top of the charge (17 euros), I’m not sure I would book this private tour again. It was very expensive for the service we received, and it did not include the actual tickets to the Louvre.Lourve Tour

I was somewhat disappointed with Sophie. I had told her that one of my granddaughters had special needs but Sophie couldn’t “ seem to adjust the tour so that my granddaughter could feel comfortable. I also told her that this was the first time both my granddaughters were being exposed to this kind of art and she spoke above their level of understanding. She did not engage with the girls at all. I decided after 90 min. to end the 2 hour tour . It was a waste of money and I would hesitate to use your guides for any kind of touring.

Sophie was such a knowledgeable and courteous guide for my mom and I through the Musee d'Orsay. My mom was having a bit of trouble keeping up with all of the walking that we did throughout Paris and Sophie made sure to find her a seat wherever possible. We learned about many of the pieces as well as the museum itself and were able to apply our newfound knowledge during our further travels on our trip through France. We both enjoyed the experience of having a private tour rather than a group tour - it was much easier without headphones! We took our tour right when the museum opened and I absolutely recommend that if you are able as it gets very busy and the crowds definitely do take a little bit a away from the art itself.Wonderful experience at the Musee d'Orsay

The skip the queue guided tour of the Musee D'Orsay was incredible!! I can not recommend it highly enough with an amazing guide like Sophie who literally brought the Musee D'Orsay to life not just for me but especially for my 18 and 16year old girls and my husband who is not a fan of guided tour. Took my teenagers to visit the Orsay and Sophie was our guide. The kids were skeptical about “another museum” but Sophie did an amazing job of introducing them to the incredible artwork and the history of the museum, as well as the impressionist movement in Paris. After the tour, she even directed us to a local bakery for delicious warm almond croissants! Left an impression on all of us! It was perfect. Fantastic impressionists tour!

My wife and I had been to the Louvre many years ago before the children were born. Although that visit was enjoyable, having Sophie as a private guide made this second visit brilliant. We learned so much more with Sophie explaining fascinating details that we completely missed on our first visit. By piquing the curiosity of our daughters with the activity booklets and cue cards, Sophie made the Louvre visit into an educational mystery game for the girls. It was such a delight to see them so keen to participate in the game. There was no chance of them getting bored during this tour. On more than one occasion, I observed other families eavesdropping on Sophie during our tour and I could hear their children asking to participate in the same activity as our daughters. Sophie bonded well with our daughters and she made our visit to the Louvre a wonderfully memorable one. The tour lasted about two and a half hours, but it seemed shorter as time passed quickly with the girls actively listening and participating.
