We had an absolutely incredible experience touring Barcelona, thanks to our amazing guide Moisés. From start to finish, he was the perfect combination of knowledgeable, patient, and kind. What truly set this tour apart was his deep understanding of Barcelona’s rich architectural and cultural history.
While we were initially excited to learn about Gaudí, our guide went above and beyond by introducing us to other key figures in Catalan Modernism, including Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch. He gave us a deeper appreciation for the city’s architecture and helped us see Barcelona in a completely new light.
Walking through the streets with him, we discovered hidden details and stories we completely missed on our own. His insights made the city come alive in ways we never expected. The highlight, of course, was the Sagrada Família — we were absolutely blown away not just by the grandeur of the building, but by the depth of knowledge he shared about the symbolism, structure, and design of its exterior.

We had a wonderfull time seeing the different architecture in the old center of Barcelona and its surroundings. One of the main highlights of this tour was the Sagrada Familia made by Gaudi. This was my first trip to Barcelona, and being a foody, I was looking forward to this experience. Moisés is an experienced guide, with a wealth of historical and local knowledge. He's friendly and has a lot of passion both for the city and the local cuisine. I liked that it wasn't too heavy on history or facts. Instead, everything he was telling us about the city was relevant. It helped me to understand and appreciate how the city came to be. Another highlight was learning do's and dont's around eating out in Barcelona; the local customs. And of course, the food we tasted was absolutely amazing! So much so that I then visited some of the sights on the next day just to indulge my tastes buds one more time. I highly recommend this tour, and Moisés in particular to anyone who likes tasting local cuisine. It's a great experience to do early in your trip - you'll get some recommendations for what to do and where to eat at the end of the tour and it's worth exploring those.A tasty introduction to Barcelona

After just arriving we met Moises right on time and he kindly introduced us to Barcelona and all it has to offer! This was a great way to learn how to tour the Gothic Quarter and El Born, notice the hidden architecture while also respecting the history of the city. Moises was awesome! We usually take a food tour the first day to learn the city and food scene. Moises introduced us to Vermouth at a local restaurant, showed us the markets where we did tastings, and stopped in a few restaurants to try local foods. An incredible experience with Barcelona's classic sites,wonders and hidden gems. Beautiful and very intresting history and stories behind each site. His tour was an interactive tour that kept us intrigued at all times. Moises was our guide and an amazing one at that. He speakes very good English as well as Spanish. The tour itself was very engaging with kids of any age as well as parents. He shared his personal favorites about food spots, as well as what to look out for as tourists when it comes to pickpockets and tourists traps. We are a family of 4 with a 14 and 17 year old. From the moment we met, Moises’ energy was infectious. His genuine love for and extensive knowledge about Catalan and Barcelona permeate the whole tour. He provided a very impressive balance of history and current cultural information and facts. He was funny and flexible and immediately understood what was important to us and then pivoted along the way to meet our interests. He was also very generous with sharing about himself, his own experiences and interests as related to the region and the tour so we felt we got to know him also. If we had known how great he is ahead of time we would have booked him for all our tours in Barcelona. He also provides an impressive list of personal re commendations at the end and we enjoyed a great dinner and awesome bar later that day as a result!
