Moustafa and a driver picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the GEM where he guided us through the museum at a pace that was perfect for us to see the highlights and avoid the crowds. He made it very interesting and efficient, which was exact what we had in mind. We then visited a local restaurant where we sampled a variety of delicious local specialties. We really enjoyed our half-day guided tour with Moustafa! We were a group of 5 adults and one 3-year-old child, and he catered extremely well to all of our needs and interests: he explained the history and mythology of the site, led us to less busy places and into a small tomb we would have never found ourselves, was always upbeat, personable and considerate and made sure that the child in our group had a great time too. At the end of our tour, Moustafa showed us a local lunch spot where the food was absolutely delicious — again, we wouldn't have found it on our own.Giza pyramids off the beaten track :)

We had one full day in Cairo and we wanted to see as much as we possibly could. Moustafa made sure thats exactly what we did! He is very connected in the community. He made our entry into Egypt very smooth as well as transportation to our hotel. We met him the next day right on time and he took us to the pryamids, we got to see a tomb, ride a camel to sphynx, see how paper is made, shops, markets, a boat tour on the nile, perfume, and more! Mostafa's knowledge of Cario's culture, food and history made this tour the perfect way to experience the city. He took us to places that we would never have found by ourselves and made us feel as if we were just spending time with a local friend and we also felt totally safe and comfortable the whole time. He was able to not only explain the food and Cairo as it is today, but also is extremely knowledgeable in ancient Egyptian history, given that he is also an Egyptologyst. Moustafa didn't make me a tour in a traditional sense, but he took me to Giza pyramids to interview some travelers and tour guides there since I was writing an article about the tourism in Egypt as a journalist. Moustafa has a lot of friends at the pyramids since he has been making tours and excavating there for a long time and thanks to this it was easy to find interviewees. And besides making interviews, I was on the back of a camel for the first time in my life thanks to one of his nice friends. Moustafa helped me without expecting anything in return, he is a very kind person, and this is one of the reasons why he is a great example of Egyptian soul, which is overall friendly and hospitable. I don't know how to start, so I will start from the beginig. I decided I wanted to go to Egypt and found Moustafa's details on the internet. I liked the name so much and after reading what was written about him, I decided to contact him as this may be the best decision I made for the year 2013 Moustafa was great in the way he answerd me through emails, he was also willing to answer all my questions in every way. So I decided to book my holiday with him. Moustafa was on time at the hotel to meet me for what was to be a great journey. What I can say I just feel now that I want to return to Egypt, he was one of best guides I have ever met. His knowlegde is vast and his willingness to show me all the sites was realy a professional guide. I have been to many places all over the world an he is by far the Best guide I have met. I dont feel I have only visited pyramids but I really felt I was living with ancient egyptions he helped me feel as though I was Nefertiti or cleapatra..: it ws like a dream ...if you would like to tour Egypt book him ... Being 2 girls travelling to Egypt, we were definitely worried about our safety. However, Moustafa made us feel more than safe the entire time we were there. He picked us up directly from the airport, and took us around to the most amazing places in Cairo & Giza. The tour was extremely personalised, and he made sure that we were comfortable every step of the way. He is definitely one of the kindest and most pure hearted people I've met, and he never expects anything in return. His one ultimate priority is for you to enjoy Egpyt, which you definitely will if you take this tour with him! Due to his experience in Egyptian history and having excavated at many of the sites, he has a lot of connections which allows you to see and understand more of Egypt. Not at any point in the tour did we feel a threat to our safety, and we were always comfortable. Transport was extremely comfortable with full air conditioning. Egypt was definitely the best experience in my life, and I'm so glad we chose to go with Moustafa. Me and my friend had wonderful time with Moustafa exploring non-touristic corners of Cairo. We instantly caught great vibe lasting until the end of the trip. Moustafa adjusted the schedule of the trip to our needs very well. Also, modifying it on the go while getting to understand our keenness to experiencing real local flavors. We could understand Egyptian history and culture better through open-minded exchange of views. We could taste local food like koshari and sugar cane juice. Finally, we could see places which are not often visited by tourists yet worth exploring. Moustafa organized an amazing 4 day top notch tour of Cairo and Luxor and Valley of the Kings. Despite our short time he made sure we got to experience all of the "best of " and spent a lot of time ensuring the trip was personalized to hit all of our top priorities - even including a trip to Mohammed Ali Street ( despite the crazy traffic ) so that my husband could check out the Egyptian hand drums! He was very flexible, accommodating and very knowledgable. Mustafa ensured every detail from arrival at the airport to our departure was looked after. First off, I highly recommend hiring a guide in Cairo. It's a large city and it isn't easy to get around. Being from the West it's also a little tough not understanding Arabic. My wife and I went to Cairo around Christmas on our honeymoon. We hired Moustafa for three days to help us learn about Egyptian history. He's worked at a lot of the sites there and has a huge love of Egypt, so he was a great choice. We've hired guides before and I can say beyond a doubt we liked Moustafa the best. The reason was that he was so enthusiastic to show us everything. He was genuinely excited to show us the sites he loved instead of just sitting there and letting us have "free time" for 90% of the tour. And he really went out of his way to show us some Egyptian culture and taste the local food. Also, he was very flexible. Our original itinerary had Alexandria in it. When the protests there got a little risky Moustafa offered to change over to Islamic Cairo. Just a little bit of a disclaimer here - like most tour guides he generally won't talk about religion or politics but my wife and I wanted to learn more about Islam while we were in Cairo and Moustafa really did a great job explaining it to us and showing off the city's beautiful mosques. He also brought the stories to life - he's probably the most animated tour guide I've ever had. After Cairo my wife and I went to Luxor. Moustafa gave us great advice and gave us a good deal on a guide there that we really liked as well. One more note - we're from the US and most of our friends there seem to think that Egypt is a little sketchy right now due to the protests. We never felt that at all. If anything it was exciting to be there when people were voting on their constitution. I highly recommend visiting it and we already want to go back! (make sure you go to Luxor as well - Egypt is so much more than just the pyramids!)Moustafa loves Egypt!!!

Thank you Moustafa for our lovely time in Cairo! You were friendly, funny, informative and enthusiastic and it was very clear you love what you do which made us also fall in love with Egypt! Myself and a girl friend, both mid-20s travelled together. I contacted Moustafa in May for our August trip. He was prompt in replying to our emails and even called to confirm our two day itinerary. We wanted to cover ALOT in two days and he made sure we did it all without feeling rushed or like we didn't properly cover our itinerary. In fact he went above and beyond our itinerary and added in extra sites and took us to great places for amazing Egyptian food as well as really experience Cairo life, like taking the Metro and the local taxis etc. The hotel he suggested and booked for us was also very accommodating with great service. He also made suggestions (without being pushy but simply suggesting) which we are very glad he did. For example, the camel ride to the other side of the Pyramids of Giza with an incredible view of all three Pyramids and the Tanora show in the evening. He also took us to see a carpet school, papyus making shops etc , all with great hospitality and never pushy for you to buy. I have seen a few people's reviews saying Moustafa tours are expensive but for what you get it certainly is not! It is incredible value for money as he made sure we did more than just our itinerary! Just returned from a 7 day private tour of Egypt with Moustafa in Cairo and Zack in Luxor and Aswan. Being three women traveling alone, safety was our top concern. Not only did we feel safe at all times, but our guides provided us with history and lots of laughs! We submitted our own ideas and Moustafa listened to our needs and put together a perfect itinerary. He was extremely responsive to every question and concern we had, and even took time to zoom with us before the trip. I highly recommend Moustafa Egyptian Tours. The drivers were excellent, and we didn’t have any glitches along the way. I would recommend going in the winter months, as trips to the antiquities were often very hot. Moustafa made Egypt magical for us! It has always been a dream of mine to go to Cairo but little did I know that all my dreams and expectations would be surpassed! Moustafa listens, helps, accommodates, and most of all ensures you are happy and comfortable at all times. He adapts the tour to suit your needs- where u want a quick cheap budget meal he knows where to take you, or where you would prefer finer 'dining' your requests are seen to. He is so knowledgeable and shares his passion and intensity for his country with you. He works through how you picture a perfect day out sightseeing along with his knowledge of best times of day to do things, traffic, visitor intensity and more to ensure your experience is logistical but personally tailor made. All promises made are delivered and from the smallest things that make the biggest difference- eg when we went to the night light show at the pyramids- we were promised good seating and a 'jump the queue' and this was delivered. He is with you at all times and ensures your safety eg at the markets where it can be quite daunting as a tourist- he informs you exactly what and what not to do ahead of time, but when u want some alone time e.g on the Nile dinner cruise my hubbie and I wanted to enjoy the magic of the boat over dinner as we cruised along the Nile, Moustafa ensures to allow you space to just be and take everything in. I could go back to Cairo tomorrow, all due to Moustafa ensuring the most amazing time in his magical land. From the moment we met Moustafa at the Port of Alexandria it was obvious that we had chosen an outstanding tour guide. During the 3 hour drive to Cairo, Moustafa shared with us his love and understanding of Egypt, its people, culture and history. That alone was worth the price of the tour. We first visited the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Moustafa, realizing our time limitation, prioritized our viewing so that we would have time to appreciate what we we saw. A stop at the Market Place introduced us to the Egyptian people and their daily life. As the rich and deep color of the late afternoon sun was settling over Giza we saw the Pyramids and the Sphinx. We had the most incredible day in Cairo with Moustafa! We hung on his every word- so knowledgeable about all things there! We saw the pyramids, rode camels, went to the museum (also incredible with someone who actually knows what to see when you have limited time- we were there for one day) and ended with a sail on the Nile. To end our stay in Africa, my friends and I opted to do it in Cairo - Egypt, and we are very pleased that we have decided that. What a city! After some requests for informations to various agencies, we opted for Moustafa Egypt Tours because we had prompt response to all our questions and because what they offered us was exactly what my friends and I were looking for! Moustafa, experienced guide speaking excellent English, continued to amaze us with his knowledge of the ancient and present Egypt history. He took us in the desert, living with the Bedouin, made us sleep under the stars. Yes, he made us live a thrill of a lifetime! I wanted to thank you again for your wonderful guidance and friendship. We are constantly reminded of the wonderful things we saw and experienced in Egypt, much of which has root in what you taught and showed us. I have been watching a documentary on recent discoveries at Saqqara, and am amazed that we were privileged to go there and enter different tombs. J and I will watch it again together. I also appreciate our time in the mosque of Mohammed Ali in Cairo where you taught us of the five pillars of Islam. I still remember them, and the similarities to our faith. These and so many others are all precious memories, as well as the significance of the trip for J and myself in our new marriage. The trip came at a good time for us, as we continue to grow together. We booked Moustafa for a tour to the Citadel and Pyramids. We had a fantastic experience. Moustafa is extremely knowledgeable, engaging, charming and fun to be with. He kept us all interested and engaged for the day and took us to some fascinating "secret" places. We felt very privileged and lucky to have our time with Moustafa. Memorable trip with my wife and our friends. The itinerary planned by Moustafa has given us a great overview of the main attractions but also a nice proximity with locals. I highly recomment the Nile cruise and the hot air balloon ride (over the Valley of the kings). We spent few days Hurghada to rest and enjoy the Red sea beach.Great trip in Egypt

My friend and I had a 12 hour layover in Cairo in June 2012. Moustafa met us at the airport with a welcoming smile and our unforgettable tour began. He shared his vast knowledge of the history of the country while we toured the pyramids of Giza, rode a camel, visited the Sphynx, learned about papyrus, and interacted with locals. His caring and easy-going personality made the day wonderful. When I return to Egypt, I will definitely request his services again. Egypt was a truly scintillating experience for us with the native guide Moustafa Yehia Sanad whose pure love for his country truly touched our hearts.. Multi-lingual, MA in Archaeology & Egyptology ( i think) & his countless shared experiences truly endeared as he was a true example of doing what you love, setting up his own tour company approximately 10 years ago.. Even sharing his love for Hieroglyphics with small lessons which made it seem so simple.. Fun pop quizzes to ensure we retained some memories & information.. A truly enlightening trip with a greater insight to Egypt, her great & rich history, socio-political-economic past & present.. InsyaAllah we will be back one day for the rest of Egypt! 😘😘😘Beautiful & Historical Egypt!

Moustafa of Moustafa Egypt Tours was our tour guide for a tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza. We actually rode a camel while we were there, too. The tour was amazing. We also went to the Sphinx where we took funny photos to look like we were kissing him on the nose. Moustafa took so much time with us and explained the ancient civilization and culture of Egypt and it’s peoples. We had so many questions and he answered all and even explained further in depth. Moustafa was fantastic! We did a walking tour with Moustafa and he really was so knowledgeable. If you want to see some of the main sites with a mix of off the beaten path which other guides wouldn’t show you, I highly suggest doing a tour with Moustafa. He was also able to customise the tour for us based on our liking and was super flexible with what our interests are. Also got to see the top roof/gate of this beautiful mosque which has just been opened after many years. We were the only ones up there and it felt so surreal. What a time exploring Cairo

Всем доброго времени суток! )) Хотел бы поделиться своими впечатлениями от поездки в древнюю страну Египет и её главный город - Каир. В компании нашего гида Мустафы путешествие получилось ярким, запоминающимся и интересным. мы посетили всё, что могли и даже больше))) Одна только экскурсия в Каирский музей произвела огромное впечатление. Мне есть с чем сравнивать, так как езжу довольно много. И поэтому я рекомендую именно этого гида и его экскурсии. У Мустафы глубокие знания об истории его Родины и подавая информацию он сдабривает её интересными фактами. В общем всё было ок) Всем приятного отдыха в Древнем городе)Египет - колыбель цивилизации
