I would like to thank Jekky her team especially Chef Santichai Pipitdhaphunt & manamakesmemeal cooking academy. For making my cooking class an unforgettable, enjoyable experience 😀 I had originally booked the Muay Thai kickboxing tour. Unfortunately it was cancelled, as I was waiting for my train to take me there. Within a very short time, I was able to be put in a authentic Thai cooking class not to far from where I was staying. Myself & a nice Korean couple met Chef Santichai Pipitdhaphunt at nice relaxing cafe in the Silom area. Our cooking class started straight away when we went to the markets gathering our fresh supplies. From there we went to the manamakesmemeal cooking academy. It was such a fun, enjoyable class with making authentic Thai food & tasting it. Sharing it with great company 😀 Chef Santichai Pipitdhaphunt definitely was the highlight of the tour. manamakesmemeal cooking academy made the experience enjoyable. I definitely recommend Chef Santichai Pipitdhaphunt & manamakesmemeal cooking academy. For learning to cook authentic Thai cooking & making unforgettable memories. Attended Mui Thai with Jekky and Team (I had Tom Gaudart as guide) this past trip. Jekky was very proactive in communicating that booked visit to fights on friday wasn't possible and that it should be on Sunday. I already had another tour booked for Sunday morning but it was easy to work out a solution with Jekky allowing me to combine both tours. The matches were very competitive and exciting to watch, and Paul did a great job with the history and explaining the rules (including the betting ones for audience) to me.

I had a great afternoon with Meaw at the Muay Thai. I wanted to experience a real match not one just put on for tourists and that’s exactly what I got! Meaw’s local knowledge was invaluable. Der Besuch des Thaiboxen in Bangkok war überragend.Jekky hat alles perfekt organisiert.Der Treffpunkt ist nicht weit weg.Eine kurzer Fahrt mit nem Tuk Tuk zur Arena.Die Plätze nah am Ring sind super. Jekky kennt sich super aus und kann auch sonst vieles beantworten und ist witzig und unterhaltsam. Ich kann diese Tour sehr empfehlen.Hinweis: Es kann bis Kampfbeginn etwas dauern.Ausserdem sind keine Trinkflaschen erlaubt und müssen vor betreten abgegeben werden. We had the great fortune to spend the day with Jekky. It was the highlight of our trip to Thailand. Jekky is a faboulous chef and a great and sweet person. We started out in the morning at the open market buying all the food for the cooking school. Then to Jekky’s house where she taught us the correct way to cook each dish. We cooked one dish at a time and enjoyed it before we moved to the next one. We learned so much and had the very best food of our entire trip. What a wonderful experience. If you love great food and great conversation and enjoy cooking and eating this is a experience you will never forget. Thank you Jekky so very much. Wow !! So much fun !!!

Attended Mui Thai with Jekky this past trip. There was some concern as the fight promoter booked a Championship Match and tickets were difficult to get acquired. Jekky was very proactive in communicating the issue and was able to work out a solution. The Matches were very competitive and exciting to watch, and Jekky did a great job with the history and explaining the rules to us. Jekky was a fantastic host, taking my 14 year old son and myself to the Muay Thai. We went to a local stadium where there were few tourists, and very much felt immersed in the atmosphere. The Muay Thai was really exciting, but quite brutal, so be prepared! The whole afternoon was a great experience: watching the hugely excited crowd was almost as fun as watching the boxing itself! Jekky was lovely- a little ball of energy, great fun, and very knowledgeable. We learnt a lot not only about Muay Thai but about Thai life in general. Her English is excellent, and she related really well to my son and made it a great afternoon out for him also. She also runs a cooking school and we were just sorry that we were flying out that night and weren't able to spend an evening there too! But gives us a good reason to come back. We would highly recommend this tour, and also highly recommend Jekky as a host Fantastic afternoon at the Muay Thai

It was an exhilarating experience to watch the Muay Thai fighters go at it! It was great to be there and be able to soak in the whole atmosphere with every one there cheering. Best part was, we got ring side seats and we got really close to watch the action. If you enjoyed the Mayweather vs McGreggor fight, this Muay Thai experience is a must! Jekky you know i have a girlfriend but I LOVE YOU. Im sorry im a bit late. But the tour was excellent nice sitting VIP with the promoters watching one of the biggest Muay Thai fights of the Area. And for cheaper than expected. After the Muay Thai this local street with the food serving for most of the Locals Perfect! hot Pan very nice the raw beef i was really surprised about that! Very Good and no further effects on the Belly. The whole table was full of food and drinks and we just paid 300 baht! Choose for her people believe me! Goodluck Milani More than Perfect

Our guide was lovely, friendly, smart and it was a pleasure to spend the visit with her ! She gave good explanations and good tips about the monuments we visited. It was great to be with her. 2 points to improve : - Nevertheless, it was not necessary to take us to the mall at the end.. we found it was not interesting… we would have preferred to visit a more typical and inspiring place in Bangkok. - considering the high price we paid, we would have appreciated to be driven back to our hotel… A part from those 2 points, we really enjoyed our day visit…! Lovely guide !

The trip was fun and smooth. Although the guide changed last minute, our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. The train market and the floating market are amazing in themselves, but the infrastructure is rough. Having a guide made all the difference and we could enjoy the place without worrying. The driver was dependable and the car was comfortable. Nice pace too, the guide accommodated my difficulty walking very graciously. Great highlight of my trip. Private guide makes a difference

Cannot recommend Miss Tai strongly enough, she was an excellent guide for the day. We wanted to see the floating markets and the famous train market and experiece some authentic culture and they didn't disappoint!. Miss Tai was knowledgeable about the places to buy things from, took us on a private paddle boat tour. Lunch at the local canteen wad great. A was a wonderful host. She was very timely. Taught us hello and thank you. She was very informative and took us to a couple temples. We were able to have an enjoyable and tasty breakfast with Thai coffee. The flower market was awesome with a lesson on how to prepare a flower to offer at the temple. Definitely this tour covers must see places in Bangkok. However, a 6h tour should not end after 4.5h. And it should not end that far off from other interesting places, even though the market it ends on was worth a visit. Must see places, but improvable tour

Had great local breakfast and enjoyed the train experience. Seeing the markets was good but a bit touristy. Then went to floating market. Wa great to take my kids to see this. Did stop at coconut place - best one I have ever tasted. Think they overcharged me for the goods through!! But overall, fantastic trip. Would recommend. It wa switch Meiwo not chef Jeffy. We only had 2 days in Bangkok and the first day we were so jet lagged we didn't do much. The second day we went on a private TukTuk tour with Meow. We had booked it from the UK based on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. Meow was great, extremely knowledgeable about the Royal palace and the history of the Royal family and all the Temples. The flower market was great, really interesting as we walked though and tasted a bitter leaf and learnt all about the flowers and fruit etc. The TukTuk was definitely an experience not to be missed, quite mad to be in one in the crazy streets of Bangkok, but we didn't feel unsafe at any time. We went for lunch at a nice air-conditioned restaurant and we chatted with Meow about her life in Thailand and her family and it was very relaxed and easy going. I had worried that the guide would have a very strong accent and we wouldn't be able to fully understand, but Meows English is fluent and with a clear speaking voice and you quickly get used to her slight accent. We would heartily recommend you take a tour with Meow in the TukTuk. Its a long and extremely hot day, with lots of walking also, but thoroughly enjoyable.Absolutely brilliant experience with Meow

We had such a wonderful experience on the Bangkok's Unique UNESCO Heritage Floating & Train Markets Private Tour. When I was putting together our itinerary I saw this tour and how highly it was rated and wanted to make a reservation. I stalled and by the time I got to it, the tours for our date were gone. I emailed Chef Jekky and she was able to find a guide and create a tour for us. That alone is outstanding customer service. A picture of our host was sent so we would know who to look for. Our host, Peaow (sorry on the spelling) was on time and very friendly. She explained the tour and was available to answer all of our questions. Everything worked wonderfully. The markets were amazing. I would highly suggest riding the train from the beginning like we did because by the time it got to the market, the train was packed and there was only standing room and no AC. Our only wish was for more time to explore the markets, but we understood the value of getting to all the spots on the list. We never really felt rushed at all. We saw other tours that had lots of people in their groups and ours was only three....so nice! Please know that traffic in the Bangkok area can be excruciating!! We left our last market around 4pm or just short of, and didn't get back to Bangkok until about 6:40pm. We almost missed an appointment. Absolutely no fault of the tour and the team, just keep it in mind. Make this an all-day event, or don't plan special moments expecting to be back right on time.Wonderful Experience!

We were really disappointed. We (2) booked the tour because we wanted to have a private guide that was able to give us information about the most important attractions as mentioned in the your. Out tour guide did not show up and sent her brother instead. He was nice person but did not know a lot to explain us. We told him but it remained the same. Silo we stopped the tour after 3 hours because we wanted to inform us by ourself. Wen sent a message via chat but got no answer so far (approx. 24 h after the tour). The tour we booked a day before with another guide was great… that tour was really disappointing.Disappointed

First day Satang navigated us through the Grand Palace , wat Pho and Wat Arun. She then took us to a local market down the river where we tried delicious new fruits and foods. She was helpful, knowledgeable and just all around adorable. Next day Meaw took us to the floating market, the railway market, the fish market and the most delicious restaurant. All on the outskirts of Bangkok. She was full of knowledge and bubbly energy. Her tips and local understanding made the tour even more fascinating. I visited the famous train market and floating market outside of Bangkok and had a great day with Meow! She’s very experienced and has a great sense of humor. She also knows all the best ins and outs of the markets to avoid other tourists! Only thing I would change about the tour is the last stop at the temple… quick stop that seemed unnecessary, but otherwise the tour was great and so was Meow - highly recommend!Great day with Meow!

We spent the afternoon with Golf and was able to see several temples, the Royal Palace, and Chinatown. Could have done this all on our own and saved money, as we had to pay for everything we entered and everything we ate, but we didn't have the time to research the key sites in Bangkok nor sort out tuk-tuk costs (which are much lower for Thai people). Was helpful to get some history and context from Golf, but in retrospect it was not essential to have a tour. A decent tour when time is short

We booked the train market and floating markets tour and had Meow as our tour guide. She was fantastic and so knowledgeable. The day was planned brilliantly and we all had a great time. The train market was amazing! She took us to a locals bar where we had some great noodles for only 15 Thai Baht!! We would never have even tried them on our own! She ordered them for us as we didn’t know what to order!😀 We would highly recommend her. We also did a night food market tour with the other company she works for ‘Thai Taste Tours’ which was fantastic too. We had Noom take us around and tasted lots of things we would never have tasted if we had been on our own. We also went to a cool sky bar! Both tours were a complete success! Thank you so much to Meow and Noom for helping us to learn so much about Thailand, try new things and make super memories we will cherish forever! Super day out!

The pre-tour experience was really great. They made a custom tour for us and were flexible and had great ideas. Also the pricing was good for the tour. The tour itself was a bit messy. The tour guide wasn't really engaging. She didn't really 'feel the crowd' and wasn't sharing things in an interesting or engaging manner. Her English was also so so. Also, the museum that was part of our tour was closed that day! bad prep The tour that was supposed to last until 2PM (we cut it short due to rain), and didn't include a planned lunch stop. Which was disappointing as we were with two younger children. But the guide was flexible enough to adjust the timing when we decided to add in a lunch stop ourselves. All in all I think the back-office organization is great, and I expect we just got unlucky with the day and the tour guide. Good custom-made tour, medium tour guide

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with a local around Bangkok, and found our guide very friendly and knowledgeable and we cannot fault the trip in any way - we were a little daunted when we arrived in Bangkok the night before, but after our day touring around and being told the local traditions and history we felt much more at home and comfortable with our surroundings. Everything was explained, and other advise and recommendations given to support the rest of or stay - we loved the tour of the Grand Palace and temples, and our tuk tuk driver was on hand at every stop and navigated his way around the city with ease - all round a great trip and we have already recommended to our friends.Fantastic Service and Great Experience

Communication from booking the experience was fantastic. Chef Oat met us and was prepared with rain ponchos for everyone because of a sudden downpour. It was very educational going to the market and learning about key Thai ingredients and picking what we needed. We made 4 courses - Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, Red Curry and Mango with sticky rice, all of them from scratch and delicious. Chef Oat and the team made it so easy to do with lots of prep and tidying up going on without you even knowing it. I never expected to be able to cook the food we did to the standard we did. Chef Oat even adjusted the recipes for those in the group who didn’t or couldn’t eat certain foods and individuals spice preferences. After the course we were emailed the recipes. Highly recommend this experience.A fun and educational experience
