First of all - Purvi is a wonderfull lovely person - very knowlable and an experienced traveller by herself - so being on the road with her get's you a deep view into Mumbai, the Indian culture and much more - it's just great talking and listening to her...especally if you are into fashion or looking for getting some nice gift for your wife (as I was) - that's even more perfect with her... Purvi is really nice, friendly and open to explain any doubts you have! We did this tour on our first day in Mumbai and walking the landmarks with her was a great introduction to the city, its history and even its flavours. Purvi also showed us an arts festival that is not usually part of the tour but it was on during that week. If it was not with her we would have missed it. She also gave us really good recommendations of spots to visit after the tour. Nice way to start exploring Mumbai

I cannot recommend traveling with Purvi enough! She arranged an itinerary to my liking and had everything set up for us. We visited incredible temples and markets. She is so knowledgeable of the area and history. She also is so incredibly kind. It felt like traveling with a friend. I really felt so taken care of and left feeling so incredibly full of life. We had the best time with Purvi! We needed wedding outfits (4 total) and she was VERY patient, super accommodating and made a tiring experience much more enjoyable. Purvi took us all around to MANY shops, gave interesting cultural and historical tidbits about Mumbai, negotiated with stores around alterations and deliveries of outfits. Even after the tour day she was still available and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and that we enjoyed ourselves at the wedding celebrations. In the 3 hours we had, we visited so many places in Mumbai. I learned how to use the local trains, saw incredible architecture, roamed the streets of touching neighbourhoods and learned many interesting stories and details. I wanted to buy some local fabrics to then make my clothing with a taylor at home. Purvi took me to the local market and showed me textile I didn’t even know that existed locally - silk Ikats, colorful embroideries on tulle / organza. It was exactly what I was looking for. Purvi made it feel like shopping with a friend BUT at the same time she was 100% in charge of logistical aspects - communicating with the sellers, making sure I can pay by card, getting me a taxi back to the hotel. Purvi its a sweet, polite, smart Mumbai girl, with a taste for fashion and keen to show you the real Mumbai. We strolled together from narrow alleys full of small templs where locals pray to their deities to the trendies little roads where the more affluent shop. Did a 2 day peraonalised program with Purvi. Her rates are very reasonable. Her knowledge of the sites,.historical, cultural significance really gives her customers a meaningful experience. She is easy going and not your typical run off the mill; pushy and always recommending purchases etc. The 2 day customised program (timing for us- was challenging as we needed to catch a flight back & Mumbai traffic etc; but she pulled it off) always seemed short because Purvi is so immersed in ensuring a very good experience for us. I did the full coverage Mumbai tour and it was totally worth it. As a first time visitor, you cannot experience Mumbai like this unless you are with a true local like Purvi. I had only half a day in Mumbai and in that short time we visited many must see places and landmarks by foot and by taxi. She encouraged me to take the local train on the return trip just to experience the Mumbai commuter crowd and it is a must see in my opinion. Overall it was a great experience and I would totally recommend her if you are doing similar tours in and around Mumbai.Had a wonderful Mumbai flash tour

I insist to detail all my experience with Purvi. We are a family with 2 children (12 and 14 years) visting first time mumbai. She was very helpful and answered our first messages very fast and advice us honestly. She was very flexible with us. When we met, the chemistry was there and my kids loved Purvi after 5mn. We lived a lovely and interesting experience. The tour was supposed to be 3 hours. She stayed with us 6 hours (without extra charge). She understood what will interest us and change the schedule accordingly. We wanted to do another tour with her after one week but she was planning to go outside mumbai. She promised to help me with my business and to go with me to the markets WITHOUT ANY CHARGE. This is what she did. Her trip was delayed, she met me in the markets and give me advices. She became more than a guide, she is a friend to me and my family. DON'T THINK to select another guide. She is THE BEST, GENUINE, TOO MUCH VALUES, NOT MATERIALISTIC AT ALL and know very well India and all asian countries as she is a regular traveler and solo cyclist. Purvi was really professional and funny. I love exploring a city with local people because you see their favorite places beyond the monuments and their likes/dislikes of the city. Seeing the Hanging Gardens is a must to get a great view of the city. By chance, we even got to see a film set breaking its equipment down after a shoot at the square near the Art Gallery. I passed by the same location the other day and the place looked completely different. The price you pay also includes food/drink and transportation. The tour is a highlight of Mumbai so don’t expect to go inside the library, museum, or art gallery. If you want to, then I guess you can tell Purvi in advance? It was really cool that Purvi knew about Korean culture and some vocab while I knew some Hindi and Indian culture so there was a lot to talk about while moving between locations. Purvi is an amazing shopping guide. She has a great deal of experience and expertise in fashion design and was able to apply that to shopping all through the fabric market. She helped me to negotiate prices and to pick out the best quality materials. In addition, she helped me to pick out some basic gifts that were less expensive. We also went through the spice market and she knew the best shops with the freshest choices. I probably bought more spices than I can ever use but the options were too good to pass up. This was our second trip with Purvi, after we had a great trip to the Elephanta caves. Purvi is very knowledgeable and able to give us tips for our whole stay. She adapted the trip to our interest and we got to visit the Malabar hills and Crawford market - both highlights. Purvi is so easy to get on with that it was like touring with a friend.
