We met the smiling Bibiana in front of the Musee D'Orsay, which had been unexpectedly closed for technical reasons. The queues outside were kilometric! Bibiana skillfully navigated us through the crowds and has us inside the building within minutes. Bibiana abounds with natural enthusiasm when sharing her knowledge of the museum and its art collection. From the beginning, meeting her in the courtyard of the Louvre, she was full of energy and got us going. It was great to go the "back way" into the museum that the tour guides have access to. Fe had a set plan and route for us to see the popular and well known pieces but along the way she gave us interesting history and background of the museum and the history and development of art. She helped us understand and see the changes over time in how sculptors and artists changed their styles and forms. It felt like we got an advanced understanding of art history as part of the package. After our time was up, she also helped us get oriented to go and see other pieces that were on our list. While I like museums and the stories that art tells us through the millennia, I am no art history major and don’t know a lot. I just like learning. I usually don’t like tours. I’ve been on a few and have been very annoyed and disappointed— Until this experience. Julien had a strategy that met our goals. He was able to read us very quickly and understand how to tailor our tour with questions that made us think and build upon what we knew and don’t know. He was not pretentious yet incredibly knowledgeable, wise, and a seasoned Louvre fan! I learned about him via a friend who I trust. I, otherwise, would never have hired a private tour guide, or have joined any tour. You get what you pay for. It was AMAZING! I left with a new lense through which to view art and enjoy the museum experience without being an art history major. Hire him for your memorable Louvre experience! 🤔 I wonder if he goes to the Prado..Does the rating go to 12?

Wow ! We had an amazing time with Ali today ! We were on a 12 hour layover and we hit the ground running. Ali is beyond amazing with detail - guiding us on what train to catch into the city, where to grab a fabulous French breakfast, and where to meet him to start our sightseeing ! We travelled the city by foot and train! Although this was our third trip to Paris, he showed us sights we have never seen before. When it was time to head back to the airport, he took us to the train station and gave us instructions on getting back. He is so personable, and our day seemed to fly by. Our first trip to Paris was unforgettable, thanks to Alexia! She gave us the perfect mix of history, culture, food, and fun. From Notre Dame and the Marais to Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower. Along the way, she introduced us to amazing local treats like Maison Georges Larnicol, Ladurée, and Les Merveilleux de Fred. We also stopped for shopping along the way and having Alexia with us for language assistance made it much easier. What really stood out was Alexia’s knowledge and passion. Every stop had a story, and she made the city come alive with details we never would have found on our own. She balanced sightseeing with hidden gems and gave us time to soak in each moment, whether it was strolling through a garden, enjoying lunch in Montmartre, or taking in the rooftop view at Galeries Lafayette. She knew which shops to go into and which to avoid. This was helpful in the pastry shops! She also helped us navigate the city and the different arrondissements. We never had to look at our phones for directions! Even more, she felt more like a friend than just a guide- warm, thoughtful, and fun to spend time with. For a first-time visit, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Alexia!1st time in Paris! Great experience!

Highly recommend Fe as a tour guide of both these amazing museums. Fe is so passionate and knowledgeable she knew her way around both museums like they were her own home and was able to give us a progressive understanding of how things changed throughout the ages. Not to mention being able to avoid all the crowds and queues taking us to the best spots and seeing things we would never have found on our own. For 3 adults with no cultural background we walked away with such a great appreciation for the art and artefacts we saw. Highly recommend Fe as she is fun and easy to talk to and had a great way of including us all which was a tough task given we had two adult males in our party who had zero artistic understanding. We had a great tour with Bibiana! To be completely honest, the Louvre is a VERY tough place to visit right now. The crowds were unbelievable. I am glad we went because I wanted my kids to experience it, but I am extremely happy we went with this private tour. I can't imagine trying to visit the museum in its current state (in terms of capacities) without an expert helping us to navigate the space. Bibiana helped us beat a few lines. She was also very patient with my son (he is 8) who was struggling with the crowds and noise. Private tours are of course pricey, but in this case we definitely found the cost to be worth it. Great tour!

Bibiana had to completely adjust our tour after Notre Dame was shut down by the authorities. She came up with a Rive Gauche impromptu itinerary and helped us get BACK to the cathedral after the emergency. We loved our relaxing morning stroll with Alexia. She made us feel very comfortable and was super friendly. it was easy to find the meeting spot. We visited a shop to get ice cream and macrons, enjoyed viewing gardens and notable houses as well as St. Peter church and Village de St.Paul. She catered the tour to our requests and ended by taking us to Notre Dame area and gave us directions of how to best get to our next activity. Thank you for a great tour and lots of interesting food. We had a group including a 10yr old, a teenager and young adults and Alexia kept everyone engaged well. There was plenty of food and a good mixture of sweet and savoury. It was fun to have flavour choices along the way too. We booked over lunch time so that we had room to eat comfortably and that worked really well. Lots of small different flavours meant that no one was left hungry. The macarons and quiche were amazing, my favourite though was the little orange pastry at end in the chocolate shop. Great tour and food

Alexia is the best choice for experiencing the "real" Paris. She's incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history and main attractions, but most of all, she truly loves her city. She showed me places I would have never discovered on my own. She took me to spots with amazing food and shared a list of her favourite restaurants so I’d know where to go for the rest of my trip. Paul was a delight to have as a tour guide. He was friendly, personable, and showed us areas that we would not have typically gone to. The Aligre neighborhood was lovely to walk through with its charming alleys and squares. Paul shared some historical points about the architecture, the design of the Boulangerie, and of local artists, including Invader. We enjoyed some typical French casual foods such as Macarons, Tarte aux noix, pain au chocolat, croque monsieur à 3 fromages, galettes (the best crêpes ever were the savory galettes by the marché), ciders, wine, a charcuterie board, and wonderful Falafel. The covered marché was unfortunately closing when were there, but we enjoyed walking through it and hearing about its history none the less. After the tour was over, he walked us past the opera and gave us directions for a stroll along the Seine. What a fun evening and delightful company.Great food in less traveled areas

Sophie was amazing.
