The tour was excellent. Roko worked very hard to make the tour special for us. I reached out to Roko because I wanted to get engaged while in Italy, and I wanted to have someone take a photo of the engagement, but I wanted to surprise my soon to be fiancée, and I didn't want to give my camera to someone on the street. I worked with Roko beforehand to tweak our tour so to find a quiet corner of Venice where I could pop the question away from the crowds. The whole thing went off without a hitch. I don’t know if our trip to Venice would have been as amazing without our time with Roko! Our family (my husband and two teenage boys) spent two days exploring the city’s beautiful churches, palaces & the hidden streets.. he shared interesting stories that keep us all entertained.. He lead us to some amazing food destinations too, really felt he cared that we got everything we waned and more out of our time in the city!! He also knows how to take great photos (not all selfies 😂)!! I really wish he could have joined us on the rest of our trip through Italy, we missed that extra touch in the other cities!!! We had a delightful experience exploring Venice with Roko in August. Roko had many fascinating stories to tell that engaged us all (parents and teenage son), as well as good suggestions and helpful tips about places to come back to on our own later. We were a private group of 6 and booked Roko for a walking tour on the afternoon we arrived in Venice. It is great to wander around Venice and discover things without a guide but after a few days, there is a limit. We spent a few hours with Roko and it was a great pleasure to be shown places and told historic stories that we would not have found and to get answers to all the basic questions that a local know about life in Venice nowadays. Die Tour war sehr kurzweilig und individuell, da wir nach der Hälfte der Zeit und aufgrund des heißen Tages spontan den Dogenpalast in die Tour eingebaut haben. We booked Roko for a tour with the family, ie. grownups and teenagers/young adults. Roko took us on a three-hour walk with interesting sites and venues for all of us. He knows about the city and it‘s history, and fun facts to keep everyone interested. He made sure to ask if we wanted a break, took us to nice places to gave them, and if we did not need them had the endurance to walk with us for hours. What a treat, wandering hidden corners of Venice with Roko! This was the highlight of my stay, no question, and I felt I had to write this review to tell everyone about it. Roko knows this place like the back of his hand and was keen to show me his Venice, beyond gondolas, masks and St Mark's Square. We saw some lovely understated art, walked through beautiful local neighbourhoods and discovered some surprising architectural gems - and everything was close to the main tourist spots, but I'd never noticed, somehow. Roko's a lovely guy - very kind and patient, but also very funny, so make sure you ask him for anecdotes about the city, there are some good ones! He also gave me plenty of great recommendations for how to spend the rest of my time, encouraging me to put the map away and just explore and take it all in, which was excellent advice. Definitely recommend if you're after a fresh perspective of Venice, and an off the beaten track, nicely-paced tour. You are a great ambassador for this city, Roko! Excellent tour with Roko

We had a wonderful half day tour in Venice with Roko. He is super knowledgeable and interesting, bringing history to life and injecting humor into the many sights and cultural treasures in Venice. We avoided crowds while getting to explore some off-the-beaten path destinations, as well as major monuments, like San Marco. Roko kept us fully entertained with his command of history and his obvious personal appreciation for the art and history throughout the city.
