We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Betty, and we were so glad that we saw parts of Berlin that most tourists miss. Together with the more usual activities and "attractions" we'd already enjoyed, the afternoon enabled us to experience à more rounded and "real" impression of the city. Betty was willing and able to taylor the experience to fit our preferences, so we started off looking at architecture on Museum Island (Insel), continued to some fascinating shops & galleries in Hackescher Markt, & finished in a community arts centre in the "alternative" neighbourhood of Kreuzberg. Betty was a well-informed, energetic, enthusiastic and engaging guide, who was nevertheless prepared to go at our pace, and respond to what we wanted. This was definitely a tour for visitors wanting something different from, or in addition to, the popular tourist haunts, who are prepared to be open to new and sometimes edgy experiences and possibly have their assumptions challenged. A great afternoon "off the beaten track"

This was my first time in Berlin and I didn’t choose the tourist highlights although even on this ‘off the beaten track’ tour there were large groups of tourists going through these areas. Miha was very knowledgeable and helped orient me to the area and point out the street art. We had a beautiful sunny spring day to explore Berlin and I appreciated the artisanal coffee shop he took me to. The only downside was that he arrived late and could have been better at communicating this to me. He did answer quickly once I messaged him on the app. Great street art tour

Despite the chilling cold of Berlin in the early spring, Lee managed to give me and my coworkers a fantastic and enlightening guided tour of some lesser known areas of Berlin, + the wall. Alex tried his best in showing and sharing stories of Berlin. He was not our chosen guide - our original guide Minha was unable to make it (despite confirming he could) and we were transferred to Seth who then bounced us to Alex. Honestly, was disappointing and was thrown off. On hindsight, I should have cancelled when Minha couldn’t make it. It was our first visit to Berlin and our first tour upon landing on Berlin. Seth was a great guide and showed me parts of the city I would not have experienced another way. I had mentioned that I was interested in the local history, architecture, and street art and he made a real effort to integrate those into our tour. I have taken another less expensive tour, but I can confidently say that you get what you pay for with a personal guide. We did a 3h walking tour of alternative Berlin. We enjoyed seeing some places we wouldn't have seen otherwise and some interesting street art. However, we felt there were very long stretches of walking that could have been replaced with a bus ride to save time to actually enjoy the sights more. We just had a few minutes at the East Side Gallery for example before walking on and by that time we were exhausted. To be fair,it was a very hot day. We finished the tour in Betty's neighbourhood which is very interesting and with lots of food options. Delicious vegan ice cream by the way! Betty gave us some good tips Overall we enjoyed the tour.Alternative Berlin

I took a tour of Kreuzberg with Miha. He’s been in Berlin for many years and he knows the city like the back of his hand. Able to point out so many interesting details that you would never notice on your own. I’ve been to Berlin several times, but he helped put a lot of it into geographical perspective for me. It was just the two of us and he was really easy to be with for over three hours. Also, his English is excellent. He knows a ton about art and artists here in Berlin, he also knows about history, and geography. Totally recommend. Friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic!

I can’t recommend this tour or Pablo more! The tour was amazing because we got to see another side of Berlin that we would not have without Pablo. While we did see some of the big tourist sites, we got a real feeling of what day to day life as a local was like. Pablo was very informative and incredibly accommodating and friendly. We booked an ‘off the beaten track tour’ with Seth. It was a great afternoon taking in many areas which you just wouldn’t see ordinarily, along with some more mainstream ones. Seth was a great guide, highly recommended and very knowledgeable about Berlin and its culture. He tailored the tour as we went so we spent some time exploring the fabulous street art, an afternoon rave and the East Side Gallery. I had an amazing tour with Anastasia!! I learned so much about both historical and modern day Berlin! I can’t do this tour justice in a review! Anastasia made me feel so comfortable, we immediately had a great rapport, I felt like we molded the tour together (she had a great tour laid out but based on my interests she adjusted some of the destinations and timing) and I had some amazing local treats along the way! She has a passion for street art and some of the graffiti that would’ve faded into the ambiance of Berlin now sticks out to me whenever I see it and I understand the meaning a lot more now!
