Ramses was charming company. Very knowledgeable about Islamic history but judged well how much information we could digest. He showed us some key historical highlights but balanced this with a walking tour of the markets and a stop for tea in a local cafe. He made sure we got back to our hotel safely. We had a fantastic morning in Cairo with Nesreen who was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly and generous with her time. Me and my friend had wonderful time with Moustafa exploring non-touristic corners of Cairo. We instantly caught great vibe lasting until the end of the trip. Moustafa adjusted the schedule of the trip to our needs very well. Also, modifying it on the go while getting to understand our keenness to experiencing real local flavors. We could understand Egyptian history and culture better through open-minded exchange of views. We could taste local food like koshari and sugar cane juice. This was our second tour with Nesreen and it was excellent. She helped us navigate this big museum and avoid the crowds. She gave us time to enjoy the exhibits and taught us a lot in a fun and interesting way. Nesreen is a total professional tour guide! We mixed up and went to the wrong meeting place for the start of the tour but she collected us and got the tour back on track! We had the best time together with Nesreen. For 1,5 day she took care of us in the best way possible . She is open to anything, and we made so much out of the 1,5 day we had. We visited famous sites but also less famous authentic places which made it the best combination. She has an incredible knowledge about everything, we learned so much ! Nesreen was an absolutely wonderful guide. She is so warm and fun, she made us feel very welcome. She did everything to make us comfortable and adjust the pace based on our needs. She brings a big heart, a unique perspective, and a great insight into the culture that we didn’t have with other guides. She was honest, generous, and compassionate. She helped us navigate a busy market and taught us how to interact with the venders while shopping there. We loved going to a mosque with her since she brought an authentic perspective into the religious culture and rituals which we really enjoyed since it allowed us to pull back the curtain a bit on Islamic practices. Excellent tour, Nesreen has excellent English and is detailed in her knowledge of Cairo its history, religions, politics, traditions and practices. For us she filled in a lot of the intricate background to the souks buildings, their functions and artisan trades; pointing out areas and things we would never spot and talking to traders we would not approach. We really enjoyed our half-day guided tour with Moustafa! We were a group of 5 adults and one 3-year-old child, and he catered extremely well to all of our needs and interests: he explained the history and mythology of the site, led us to less busy places and into a small tomb we would have never found ourselves, was always upbeat, personable and considerate and made sure that the child in our group had a great time too. At the end of our tour, Moustafa showed us a local lunch spot where the food was absolutely delicious — again, we wouldn't have found it on our own.Giza pyramids off the beaten track :)

With less than 24hrs notice with extremely fast responses from Mohamed I was able to book a fully customised tour afternoon/evening tour of Cairo. In a few messages Mohamed was able to gauge what I wanted to do, suggest a plan and get everything confirmed. He offered to collect me from my flight and drop me back to my hotel later that evening removing any stress from my arrival and leaving me to relax and look forward to the tour. We visited Koshari Abu Tarekand had the legendary Koshari dish, a not to be missed experience. Then on to a walk through the markets of the old town starting at the victory gate - complete with a glass of sugar cane juice, and ended the evening with tickets to see Mazaher, one of the rare ensembles in which women play a leading role. The musicians of Mazaher are among the last remaining Zar practitioners in Egypt and this event that happens every Wednesday was sold out but thanks to Mohamed’s negotiating skills we were able to gain access. I felt very privileged to see such an uplifting performance. This was a last minute trip, I hadn’t had chance to research what was important to see and do and Mohamed managed to fill the time we had together with just the right experiences. He even managed to fit in a stop to get a phone charger and exchange some cash - two things that were causing me stress on arrival. Great to see a young guy with passion about his country eager to ensure visitors have the best experience during their visit. TLDR: Tour with Ramses, it'll be the best decision you make. We had an absolutely amazing time with Ramses. From the beginning, everything was so easy. We were in Cairo for a week (2 adults & a 7-year old) and wanted to take our time seeing the sites. We contacted Ramses with our time constraints and interests, and together we constructed the perfect itinerary. Over five days, we saw the Giza pyramids, Saqqara & Dashur, Alexandria, Islamic & Coptic Cairo, the National Museum of Civilisation, Grand Egyptian Museum, Egyptian Museum, Khan El-Khalili Market, Muhammed Ali's Palace, and the Citadel. With his local knowledge, we avoided the crowds and were able to enjoy learning about Egypt without feeling rushed or crushed. Ramses is inspiring, friendly, warm, and easy to be around. His depth of knowledge is astounding. It was great learning about Cairo and watching our daughter love learning about Ancient Egypt. She hadn't wanted to go on the trip and by the end of the first day, she was fascinated! Beyond the tour, Ramses is an invaluable part of any Cairo trip. One of our suitcases was delayed in arriving to Cairo. Ramses was beyond helpful, calling the airport on our behalf, sending follow-up messages and adjusting our itinerary so that we could collect the wayward bag. He convinced our daughter to try new foods and go inside of pyramids (she was initially a bit scared). He is pure magic. Ramses arranged all transport and it was smooth, comfortable, and easy. Iman, our driver, navigated the traffic with ease and made visiting multiple sites in one day seamless and stress-free.
