David was very accommodating starting off the tour by giving us options to ensure we got what we wanted out of our experience. We then began at a relaxed pace walking through neighbourhoods and areas we would’ve never found by ourselves with the added historical information from David’s extensive knowledge. David was also great in talking openly about what life is like living in Lisbon which we also enjoyed. We had an amazing morning exploring Lapa with Miguel as our guide! He took us to hidden gems like the English Cemetery, the ancient aqueduct system, and a stunning basilica—places we would never have discovered on our own. Isabel took us on an amazing tour 'off the beaten track' in Lisbon. She was very knowledgeable, kind and fun! It was great to see some neighbourhoods we wouldn't have seen otherwise and into some less touristed zones. She shared interesting tidbits, facts and stories that made the tour enjoyable and helped us to understand more about what we were seeing and the history of Lisbon. David hat uns auf seiner interessanten Tour durch Lissabons ruhigere Viertel viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben und hat alle unsere Fragen ausführlich beantwortet. Er hat sich sehr viel Zeit für uns genommen und stand auch über die Tour hinaus für weitere Fragen zur Verfügung. David ist ein sehr angenehmer Mensch und spricht perfekt Deutsch. Definitiv empfehlenswert und wir würden David wieder für eine Tour buchen. Die Lapa-Tour selbst allerdings eignet sich nicht so sehr für Kids… Aber das hat nichts mit David zu tun sondern liegt am Thema der Tour (Lapa-Viertel). Ruhige Tour mit vielen Insider-Tipps

I was using With Locals for the first time and I loved it ! Mafalda was great : she made me see places where I would never have been alone. I enjoyed her knowledge of the country and city : general history but also funny or unknown facts. She was also able to bring me in very différents places and districts to learn more about the evolution of the city and people way of life. And most of it to meet more locals people. We had a great time on the off-the-beaten track tour with Jorge. He took us on a tour of four different parts of Lisbon and walked us through the architecture, history and people of each neighbourhood, including visits to a church, lovely parks and squares, a market and we zoomed around Lisbon by tram and bus. Jorge has a lot of knowledge about the city and his urban planning background gave us a lot of extra insight. We would recommend this tour and Jorge to anyone visiting Lisbon! We saw many places, and experienced quite a few things we probably would’ve never knew about or gotten to see. We only have 3 nights here, so this was great and approximately 2 - 2.5 hours long. Jorge made our day in Lisboa! My husband and I took his tour with high expectations and he exceeded them at every opportunity. We are in good condition, and it was necessary for the hills and stairs that make this tour so awesome. After our initial Covid-appropriate "air hug," we popped down 4 Euros apiece and scaled the spiral staircase to the rooftop of the Basilca do Estrela and got to see Lisbon from a totally unique perspective. Every mile thereafter was peppered with his engaging attitude and profoundly insightful knowledge of each building style, tile and it's place in Lisboa's history. I arranged for them to take this tour with Luciana as I wanted them to get sense of the real Lisbon which I fell in love with when I visited the city. Luciana did an amazing job!! He is passionate about his city, and knows everything there is to know about Lisbon. Ja, die Tour ist wirklich wenig touristisch, aber auch verständlicher Weise. Wir waren nicht sehr interessiert, uns die Botschaften anderer Länder anzuschauen oder einfach nur im Kreis zu gehen. Wir empfanden die Tour als sehr langweilig und hatten wahrscheinlich eine falsche Vorstellung vom Inhalt der Tour. Auch Wolfgang machte leider keinen sehr engagierten Eindruck, im fehlte es auch an Reiseführerqualitäten. Man merkte und dies hat er auch selbst erzählt, dass er den Job zum Leben benötigt. Darüber hinaus ging unsere Tour auch wesentlich kürzer als geplant, 40 min weniger als von uns bezahlt. Die Basilika und die X-Faktory sind wirklich lohnenswert, aber dies hätten wir auch super ohne Guide geschafft. Die Tour direkt am ersten Tag wäre wahrscheinlich super gewesen, aber es war unser dritter Tag und wir hatten schon portugiesisch Kaffee und Gepäck genießen können, somit war der Punkt der Tour auch nicht wirklich etwas besonderes für uns. Empfehlenswert für Neuankömmlinge, Architektur-Interessierte und welche die es ein wenig ruhiger mögen.X-Faktory war sehr lohnenswert
