I enjoyed my 2.5 hours with Pina very much. I wanted an overview of Napoli and Pina took me to many places, told me of others and gave me a terrific background to Napoli. We talked about the locals, history and of course, food. She told me there are three Ps when one thinks of Napoli: Pizza, Pasta and Pastries. I now can vouch that this is true. We had an excellent tour with Armando. He is extremely knowledgable about the history of his city. Even if you can't remember all the figures, he managed to get a timely connection between the various events. All brought to us in perfect english and while strolling along. As Armando is not only knowledgable about his home-town Naples, but very educated in international relations, he had a very critical view on his lovely city. This fact made it possible for us to truely understand the mentality of the Napolean people and their way of life. From the very beginning he was able to answer all questions we had and even afterwards we send him some questions, which were answered promptly. During the tour he noticed that we recognized a very unique vegetable, which was just in season, so we decided to stop at a cafe that serves it in order to try it. If you are going to Naples and want to get to know the city and be guided by an inspirational, easy going guide, you should go with Armando. Get to know the "real" Naples

Our second tour via With Locals, and it was just as amazing as our first. This is definitely the best way to see a city. Ylenia was super friendly, EXTREMELY knowledgeable about Napoli and all of it’s history. She hit some of the main sites, but also took us on a different route so we would end at our cruise ship, through the Spanish quarter and another very typical residential neighborhood away from the crowds so we could see the real Napoli. Even though we ended up arriving about 15-20 min late and told her we didn’t expect her to do the full 2.5 hrs, she did that and a little more. Ylenia was engaging, informative, and flexible. You will not regret booking with her!The only way to see Napoli!

We had a great guided tour through Napoli with Armando. He had a lot of knowledge about his city, but without giving his audience the feeling of a lecture, as some other guides tend to do. Instead he combined history, politics with the experience of real life in Napoli, having lived in the area his whole love. He took us to some rally beautiful streets off the beaten track, some cool neighborhoods we would never have found unless he showed them to us, and even to his favorite café. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we touched upon interesting topics. The whole group was happy with the tour, even our enigmatic friends Steve and Cheng which is quite hard to please. Armando was just what I had hoped for: someone who could show me around like I was visiting a local with insider knowledge and perspective. He showed me the sights during the day… with trips through parts of the city I wouldn’t have found on my own, to some of his personal places to shop and eat. (Best mozzarella in town!)… and some historic stuff and great views I would miss if I just stuck to the guidebook script. And then, in the evening, he hosted me on a nightlife tour, taking me through multiple places from local college hangs to classy library themed places really let me feel life like a visitor with a local friend, not just a tourist. All along the way, Armando gave me some really good perspective on Napoli’s history and it’s present. Really good conversation while pointing out the landmarks. Bottom line: Once I stepped out of the train station and saw that Napoli was a totally unique beast of a city, I hoped for a guide like Armando… fortunately that’s exactly what we got! The perfect Napoli mentor… day or night

Pina was a delightful and very knowledgeable host. She was excellent in communicating before we arrive, to make sure we were all set. She alerted us that she would be a bit late (unavoidable delays with the transportation system). Me and my girlfriend wanted to get to see the best of Napels in a single afternoon. We wanted a tour guide that would give us exactly that. Armando was easy to find and when we met the conversation started flowing naturally. This was a good start. Armando understood our wishes and has been an excellent tour guide for us. What a wonderful experience! Armando is first of all a very kind person and wiht him you get a personalized tour with a real napoleatan (which is also fluent in English ). Armando loves and appreciates his very special city. his knowladge about Naples history, culture ,its people ( and their special stories ) are impressive and fascinating. you can see durinng the tour speicial corners of Napoli -shops, street art, lesser known churches, and of course, eat special and great special local food( and no- im not talking about the Baba that you see al around here ) Indeed, what one can learn from Armando about Napoli - its past aswell as its present - is something which is impossible as a visitor to learn from books etc. I couldnt appreciate Napoli as i do now without Armando ( and I had been here almost a week doing some sightseeing by myself and organzied tours before having the tour with him- and yet, nothing is comparable to Armando!!
