Henrick was a little reserved at first whilst he was getting to know us. He was equally knowledgable about food, drink as well as the surrounding area which was the student area namely the Latin quarter. We went to three food establishments and ate cheese, ham and pate at the first restaurant, a creme brûlée at the second restaurant followed by a sweet pancake in the third restaurant. As I have a sweet tooth I steered us towards the sweet foods but the tour was flexible. Henrick’s English was very good as my French was very limited. Both my partner and me enjoyed the food tour. We had three experiences with guides, two were fantastic and one (this one) very poor... He was only interested in saving money, pushing us to always choose the cheapest options, modifying "by mistake" our preferences to save 50c, eating our cheeses and so on... A VERY POOR and squallid experience. We would suggest to choose any other guide instead of him, we met REALLY GREAT GUIDES in our other tours...Very poor experience

My wife and I did three tours with Juliette on our recent trip to Paris. I have reviewed the Foodie Montmartre tour separately. We also did Paris Like a Local and Bistrot Wine and Cheese. Juliette is everything you could want in a host. We felt immediately comfortable with her upon first meeting her, and by our last tour it was like we were enjoying an evening with a good friend. She far exceeded our expectations. She was full of knowledge and general advice on Paris and what to see/do during our trip. I was hoping not to have to write this review. I emailed with locals twice and never heard a reply back concerning the below. Jerome was very nice and very patient with us due to our delayed arrival with construction and street closures. Anyhow, what we paid for and what we received was completely different. Our host as friendly as he was he had absolutely no knowledge of cheese or wine. I mean none! We were suppose to have 3 wine pairing but had only two glasses of wine. We were suppose to have a meat platter and never received one. We also paid full price for our children so this was an expensive outing. Our host could not even give us a recommendation for dinner. We were so disappointed in this and the false advertising. I tried to contact with locals twice to simply ask for a refund of the food and wine we did not receive and never got a reply. So sadly this was a complete wast of hundreds of dollars, time and customer service. Wine and cheese pairing

We originally arrived at the wrong spot, but Jay was quick to come find us. My husband and I both love hearing about history and Jay was very knowledgable and excited to tell us what he knew about France’s long history. We appreciated his flexibility - when we were more excited about Camembert cheese than crepes, he modified the tour slightly to accommodate us. The Latin quarter is very nice and we would have not known it existed without being shown around. Overall, a wonderful time!Great night out with Jay!

Carlos was my guide to see Notre Dame. It was easy to meet him there, since he was attentive and responsive to texts. He was very helpful and thoughtful in making it easy for me to navigate the crowds on my mobility scooter. He taught me a lot about Notre Dame’s history and restoration. He explained the artwork in all the chapels and even sat with me to pray for a few minutes in front of the Crown of Thorns. I couldn’t have asked for a more thorough or interesting tour! We had an excellent tour of the Musee D’Orsay with Henrick. It is obvious that he is extremely knowledgeable about art and history and the city of Paris and he is able to communicate his knowledge in a way that is engaging and lively and genuinely fun. I did the tour with my two teenagers. It is a testament to Henrick and his communicative style that even my teenagers were completely engaged and left the museum with a true appreciation for the art that we were able to see. I would absolutely recommend Henrick and the next time we are in Paris we will specifically request him for any tours that we do. We loved our Mountmarte tasting, walking tour for 3 reasons: 1- Alexia, what a gem! And a true local, she was knowledgeable and gave us so many experiences we would never have known on our own. 2- the tastes! While the quality of food samples shared on the tour were good the venues left much to be desired. It was awkward trying to enjoy the different foods while standing on the street. Giedre was a gem. She was full of information and provided us with good samples. The tour itself was not what we were expecting. We assumed we would be sampling food in restaurants. Our first sample was in a restaurant and we did sit down and eat some cheese in the park and that was fine. Standing on a crowded street trying to eat a sample was not the most pleasant experience. I was expecting more drinks with our samples and I thought wine was included, but apparently it was not.Not the experience we were looking for

My wife and I booked an afternoon tour with Anukool around Montmatre. Met Anukool and he is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy who gave us a great tour of the area and told us many things we would not have learned if we had done this on our own. He recommended some great places to visit and eat. Montmatre as a area is well worth visiting and whilst there are the obvious attractions such as Sacre Couer there also many hidden gems. Alex had a wonderful itinerary planned for us. She sent me about 5 options to choose from and I picked one that ended in and around the neighborhood where we were staying. I also let her know we love food! It was great to be able to tailor our tour to our interests. She took us to a handful of sweets shops with different delicacies along with a shop for us to purchase good pate and cheese. We got a lot of history along the way and got to see a few hidden gems as well. She talked with each of us individually as we walked. Iza, our tour guide, was so flexible, changing our route as we had already seen some of the sights. And being a Parisian, she told us all the sights, restaurants, cafes and wine bars to go afterwards (and also the places not to go)! Iza is friendly and knowledgeable and really wanted us to enjoy our visit to Paris. She had lots of great local information, from shops, food, cafes, stores, sites, etc and also lots of interesting historical knowledge of the local architecture, parks and stores. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Iza and our 3 hour tour flew by. Will definitely recommend Iza to any friends or family visiting.
