We spent a wonderful afternoon with Murielle starting at Gare Saint Lazare to see the Christmas decorations in the big department stores and then wandering up to Montmartre. It was so interesting looking at all the different architecture in the area. We highly recommend this tour. Murielle is an excellent guide. Lovely tour of Montmatre

This tour was excellent. We did the tour at night and the areas we walked were beautiful. I loved that we were able to stop and visit local shops and eateries during the tour. We also visited a few Christmas markets. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Excellent tour

I went on my third tour with Murielle. This one was to Montmartre in the evening with some of the Christmas lights up. it was wonderful to be up there in the evening because it was not crowded and we were able to see and talk about so many amazing things. Once again, Murielle was friendly, easy to be with and understand, (she speaks English well!) and fun. I'm leaving Paris soon or I would take another tour with her. My wife and I very much enjoyed our tour of Montmartre with Murielle. She was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. We appreciated that she did the tour in french as we requested so we could practice our french as we toured the area. She willingly tailored the tour to our interests. It’s one thing to visit a city and just experience what is typical for the average tourists. It’s a bother thing to experiment that city as a local and get a real feel of what it’s like to live in a city. The food , the culture, the transportation and general way of life. This was our experience with Murielle. A excellent host and tour guide that made my family’s (8 persons from teens to early 70’s) experience in Paris simply one of a kind. Strolling through Montmarte with Muriel’s felt so easy and comfortable it was like catching up with an old friend in her favourite neighbourhood. We dodged down small streets and alleyways to see the best of what the area had to offer in terms of street art and other little gems and avoided the crowds. At the end I found out that she has other walking tours, and I definitely want to go on another. This is really a special experience and I implore anyone visiting Paris to try it! Hola, personalmente fue muy buena experiencia.. y los puntos revisados han sido los principales de la ciudad para hacer una visita de 3-4 horas. Desde mi punto de vista le falto un poco más de historia y contexto a las cosas que veìamos .. creo que por ahi la zona no era de su mayor experiencia y eso limitò un poco la visita. Murielle took our family (2 adults and 2 teens) on a wonderful tour through Montmartre. The route was beautiful and the pace was excellent. Murielle made sure we saw the touristy highlights but she also gave us a great sense of the local life and environment. She was willing to tailor the tour to our needs and checked in with us frequently. We sat with her at a cafe for a brief time, which was really relaxing and fun. She is incredibly nice, conscientious, and knowledgeable. She even provided us with a printed overview of the areas we walked, the landmarks, and her contact information. Murielle led us around Montematre area with an uncertainty of purpose or information about the area. We expected more history of the area and only got the big highlights that are well known. It was a lovely evening to walk but expected more, especially for the price. We could have walked up the hill on our own for a single oyster, charcuterie and a glass of wine. I did a tour yesterday with Murielle in the Le Marais areas. She is a wealth of information and knowledge about everything on my tour. I was fortunate enough to have her point out wonderful things I would have just walked by. She is very friendly, and made my experience lots of fun. Also, she speaks English very well. Even though I wear hearing aids, I was able to hear and understand everything she said. At the end of our tour she gave me maps and wrote down other things I may want to see and do in Paris. Murielle’s tour of Montmartre would be very hard to beat. Throughout it was hard to believe we were still in Paris, as Murielle guided us through quiet and leafy streets, away from crowds and city hustle. A local, Murielle was able to point out the quirky and interesting sites and views and giving the local knowledge that sets her tour apart. We’d happily do the tour again, and recomnend if you’re in Paris, you should do it as well.Montmartre for locals

Murielle was pleasant to be with but shared very little information with us on our tour. We did enjoy walking through the neighbors hoods but constantly had to ask questions as Murielle was rather quiet. At one point in the tour we had to make suggestion as to what we would like to do next as it turned into more of a very nice walk rather than a guided tour. We do feel that Murielle was not feeling well that day and we noted that she was experiencing some physical discomfort during the day. We did enjoy the tour of MLK park and explanation of the community they are building in this area. Not sure what to say here
