We wanted something more personalised and less mass tourist destinations, and she delivered a fabulous day for us away from the crowds and around the local people with hands on experiences to savour. We booked a full day, 13 hour trip with Pai (Ruetai) around Phuket. We had already made a plan for a spa appointment in the middle of the day (only one available) and our flight home in the early evening, so we knew one of the bigger scheduled tours would not work for us. We reached out with some of our thoughts and she promptly provided us a sample itinerary that checked all our boxes. When I reached out to other companies, they either replied with the same sample itinerary from their website, or did not reply promptly at all. Many had lacking reviews or mixed reviews with claims like not being provided an English speaking guide which gave us pause. Pai as a tour guide was very knowledgeable - she knew many facts about Phuket, Thai culture, Buddhism, and each of the sites we visited. Her answers usually piqued our interest and would lead to longer casual conversations as we learned more and more. Her willingness to work around our unusual schedule made our trip possible. Her suggestions for different stops - like the cashew factory - made our tour feel personalized and more intimate. Importantly, she always had a smile on her face and would share funny stories and good times with us, often helping us take the goofy photos we wanted at our stops. Her English is fluent and we had no trouble conversing at length. Our travel was very comfortable in a typical luxury Thai van. Water, coca-cola and towelettes were provided and refreshing on a hot day. We took her recommendation for lunch and quite enjoyed it as well. The driver drove in a very safe manner. We arrived on time to all of our appointments. My group and I highly recommend a trip with her. If we return we would be sure to reach out to see a second day of Phuket, and we will be recommending her to friends and family who travel to the region.Tailored trip around Pukhet was a blast

Ruetai, What an amazing day we had with her! She arrived right on time, the coach was spotless, and the driver made us feel safe. We wandered around the old town, did a little shopping, and even spotted some monkeys on Monkey Hill. Pai met us in the lobby and we drove from Phuket Beach Club to the attractions. Pai is informed, engaged, and very personable, and encouraged and helped with my attempts at speaking Thai. The first scheduled attraction, the Big Buddha and its famous views over Phuket, was inaccessible due to some 2023 monsoon damage, so she substituted in the Crocodile Farm and Show The crocodile farm is a real farm which hosts about twenty of the behemoths, who luxuriate in warm waters awaiting their meal, a cage of small mammals who awaited their fates nervously. The farm’s owner offered Bill a hand’s on experience with a “hatchling” croc, and he cradled it like a baby as its cool firm flesh wriggled in his hands. I think the croc was more nervous that I was the predator, and that she was helpless with her mouth taped closed. Then it was time for the show. A muscular Thai guy jumped into a shallow pool with the crocs and dragged, kicked and prodded them awake. He tempted their jaws with his outstretched hands and stared them face to face, daring them to snap, but he always avoided calamity. It was animal exploitation, PETA would not be amused, but fortunately they are preoccupied with elephants and the croc show goes on. Bill and Cindy bought wallets made from the hides of last year’s croc stars. I’ll remember the show every time it pull it from my pocket. We went on to visit Wat Chalong, a gilded Wat featuring a tiny shard of Buddha's bones, and Phuket Old Town, touristy but fun and scenic. In between, Pai introduced us to a Michelin listed Thai Restaurant where we feasted on some of the best ever Thai Dishes. We finished at the City overlook where Pai photographed us with the beauty of Phuket as our backdrop. Great visit with a great guide.Falling in love with Phuket

What an amazing trip we just had with Ruetai! We did the sunrise at Phang Gna bay. We left our hotel at 4am, which was hard to do, but totally worth it. We were able to get to some beautiful spots with very few people there, which made it incredible, considering I've seen pictures with tons of people fighting to get pictures. Ruetai made the excursions perfect by giving us all the time and information we wanted. She made sure we had coffee at sunrise, waters along the way and took us to a local Thai restaurant for lunch. She is so sweet! My wife and I highly recommend this trip and booking with Ruetai! Highly Recommended

We stayed in Phuket at the Angsana Resort in October 2024. We booked a day tour with Pai to explore Old Town, a couple of city sights, and a half-day Elephant Sanctuary experience. This was one of my favorite days of the trip! Pai was very communicative prior to our scheduled day, and told us everything we needed to have ready. She was knowledgeable about so many topics and history of the places we visited, and was just fun to be around. She took photos for us and just made the day a pleasant overall experience. The van that took us around was also very nice and air cool on the hot day. We would definitely book something again with Pai if we ever come back and she's available. This tour was a fantastic way to see the main sights on Phuket and learn about the history and culture. One highlight was the houses in Phuket Old Town, which were beautiful colours and we learnt all about their history and design. Pai added in a delicious snack stop for Roti’s which we would not have found ourselves. Visiting Wat Chalong with Pai made it a much more interesting experience as she explained about the temple and buildings as well as their significance. Although the big Buddha was closed we still got to go to the viewpoint nearby and learnt about its significance and history. We would recommend this tour as a great introduction to Phuket. Pai was such a great tour guide she had so much interesting knowledge about the types of food and actually taught us quite a bit about what to order based on the names of different Thai foods. The samplings were all so delicious and we became full so quickly I recommend going on an empty stomache. She also showed us several cool bars to visit after the tour and we had a blast in old town phucket our first night here and then she sent me maps of all the locations so I could find them again if I wanted to revisit during our stay here. We, two adults and child of 12, booked Pai on short notice. We had some specific requests, like halal options and vegetarian foods. We ate in spotlessly clean local joints, with explanations and lots of laughs about the food we were eating. She was attentive to our daughter as well, making her feel welcome and included in all the choices, particularly the amazing desserts! She answered every random question about Thai culture and people and was well paced. My only caution would be to make sure you don't eat too fast, or too much in your first stop, leave lots of room. We booked a last minute trip to Phang Nga Bay. Ruetai was superb! The driver promptly picked us up at the resort and took us to a small fishing village where we set out to Phang Nga Bay via a longtail boat. Ruetai provided a wonderful experience as we toured the various islands and caves. After a day on the water, Ruetai took us to the most wonderful viewpoint of the bay. To top it off she had a dinner awaiting us with traditional Phuket food. Ruetai made this last minute trip a highlight of our visit to Phuket! We had the best time with Pathu (Pai), our tour guide, today! What a memorable trip. She picked us up straight from our hotel and took us to the Marina where a private boat awaited us. From there we went on an exploration of several of the islands around Phuket. We were able to swim, snorkel, watch monkeys play, hang out in the beach, sunbath, and enjoy an amazing lunch! Beverages and a fruit platter were also included. The boat was clean and spacious, the crew was professional, friendly, and competent. Pai could not have been nicer or more helpful. She arranged everything and made sure we all had a great time. I give her my highest recommendation. The waters around Phuket are so crystal clear and beautiful. The sand is so fine it has the texture of flour. The coral reefs are teeming with colorful fish. This excursion will be one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand!A great excusion to the Phi Phi Islands!

Logistics Pai met us with a sign right at exit to Dolphin Pier tender port. Due to cruise ship, we were 1 hour late. Still got more than 5 hour tour in super clean comfortable minivan. The only shopping we did was look for a print of bank. she bypassed most shop instead showing us several museum and mix of Eurofront Sino inside houses. Sea dragon statue at town center wonderful temples. Big Budda. Lunch excellent prawns and fish was extra; worth it! 30 minutes to spare at port Deserves 6+ stars

We had the most amazing time in Phuket with Ruetai! Her willingness to customize our Phuket experience was exceptional. We were able to spend some time with the "stilt fishermen" and I actually was able to give it a try. What an experience! We were fortunate enough to be in Phuket when Red Bull was hosting a surf competition so we spent time watching that. I had an amazing trip with Pai!! I was the classic 'bad customer', changing dates, changing itinerary and just being a general pain - but Pai rose above and beyond all my demands to make sure I had an absolutely superb day while being very kind and helpful and creating the perfect tour for me!! This is a brilliant trip, highly recommend! Well worth the money. We had 9 people on our boat which is the perfect amount, So much to see on this and the canoeing is so much fun! Lunch is THAI food in the floating village which was great to. Our tour guide Pai was brilliant, She kept us updated the day before with what to wear for the temple and pick up times! On the day she was so friendly and helpful to everyone, She told us many facts about everything and made sure we all knew the next step of the tour and timings to meet back and also took so many great photos for us! I highly recommend her as your guide. Our driver It was also very professional, friendly and on time picking us up and waiting for us at the end of the tour. Pai is a kind, energetic and passionate guide. My wife's wheelchair was easily stowed in a plush 9 seat van. We strolled thru Phuket Old Town, had a birds eye view of old town and ocean from a park on the hill where a native monkey ate peanuts from a pilfered cup. Then to a requested mall visit for a yummy Thai lunch and a stop at a colorful Jim Thompson silk store. Then to a large (Chalong) Buddhist temple complex and a drive by the white sands and beachy vibe of Rawai and nearby beaches. Take this tourTake this tour

We had Pai & It for our guide and driver and they were both absolutely spectacular. Pai had the best personality and was a pleasure to spend the day with. In terms of the tour- this was truly the best day of our entire journey. The longboat journey to James Bond Island was beautiful. We drove past the mangroves and there were so many islands to see - untouched beauty. The lunch on the fishing village was great as well. The canoeing was spectacular! No complaints! This was a very enjoyable tour. The floating village and canoe ride were unique experiences. There were very few people when we arrived at the James Bond island, we were lucky I guess. Our guide, Pai, was very friendly and provided lots of information about the places we visited and made us feel very safe. Also the driver, Cha, was very friendly and professional.
