Our day with Valerio was amazing! After meeting at the local fish market, we went to his home on murano to prepare a meal. It was delicious and so fun to feel like a local. Our tour of murano included stops to learn about glass blowing. Our daughter got to make her own glass bead and then we toured a glass showroom which was beautiful. Roberto accommodated us 2 days after our originally scheduled tour, as we arrived a day later than expected. The tour he provided was interesting, but could probably be completed in 2 hours. Roberto is an intelligent person who does have a working knowledge of several languages, but I would not say that most English speakers would be able to absorb all of what he says during a tour. We certainly liked learning about his native city and enjoyed his sense of humor too. The only reason we are providing this level of detail is because the cost of the tour was considerable and we would have appreciated knowing exactly what the pluses and minuses might have e been. We truly appreciated Robeto’s flexibilty.

My husband and I recently did a walking tour with Loris in Venice and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We customized one of his available photography tours to focus less on photography and add more walking and food and wine. We had a fantastic time with Loris who was so kind and knowledgeable about Venice. As a trained sommelier, he also did a great job explaining the local wines we tried. We really felt like we got a local perspective on Venice and got to visit places that are not in all the guide books. It felt like being shown around the city by a good friend. Since our tour was so recent, we still have not received copies of the photos Loris took but he suggested some fun and scenic locations for pictures and did a great job directing us and making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Loris is a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide! We spent two half days together and everything was just as you would want it to be. This was our second time to Venice and with Loris we learned more and saw more of this glorious city than we did on our previous trip 14 years ago. So grateful for our time together. I am a big fan of Inspector Brunetti, the Venetian policeman created by Dona Leon. A friend enthused about the "Brunetti" tour presented by Valerio in Venice. We hired Valerio and embarked on the expensive two hour tour (over two days unfortunately). We walked by five relevant sites and enjoyed espresso at Brunetti's local coffee bar. We began with a visit to Mazzarbo, followed by Burano and Murano. Loris gave us so much local history of Venice and the surrounding lagoons. After learning about the fascinating lace-making history of Burano, we had a leisurely lunch with delicious food, wine, and dessert before moving on to Murano where we were treated to a front-row view of one of the island's highly esteemed glassblowers crafting a custom order of drinking glasses. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary and truly authentic. We began our day at Rialto Market, selecting fresh, local ingredients under Valerio's expert guidance. From there, we traveled to his lovely home in Murano, where he prepared a mouthwatering multi-course meal, perfectly paired with libations for each course. We took the Brunetti tour with Valerio last week. Valerio was very accomodating in adjusting our start time and meeting location. We had just arrived the previous day and were still getting up to speed. Needless to say, the tour was absolutely fascinating. We recently had a wonderful evening tour with Loris. We arrived in Venice in the late afternoon and were only to be in Venice for one day afterward, so we wanted to combine a sightseeing tour with a local food tasting tour for the evening of the day of our arrival. Coordinating such a tour with Loris was seamless- he was easy to communicate with and developed a customized tour just for us. We enjoyed cicchetti and a lovely spritz, mozzarella in carrozza, Venetian hot chocolate, salami and various cheeses (drunken cheese was my favorite), and a cannelloni tasting. All were delicious and tailored to our food preferences. We walked at a relaxed pace through the many neighborhoods of Venice, seeing both the highlights and hidden gems of each. Throughout, Loris explained their historical significance in great detail. Our favorite places are too many to list, but most are the hidden gems we would have never found or seen on our own. We topped off the evening with gelato (the best I’ve ever tasted), at my husband's request. Throughout, Loris was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and had a great sense of humor. He answered our many questions with ease. If we are fortunate enough to return to Venice, we will definitely be contacting Loris again. This tour was the highlight of our visit! Unfortunately, our family tour was canceled by Roberto because we ran ‘late’. Granted it was a family tour as scheduled and one of the children had a slight emergency which is why we ran late. Not enough that we stayed in touch with Roberto and let him know we were running late, not enough that there was about an hour and a half left in our planned tour, our host just cancelled without any recourse. Not only we didn’t get reimbursed but now going back and forth with the company trying to justify our request for reimbursement. It’s a bad incentive for the host to be able to get paid without delivering any service due to the client being late. Unacceptable!No integrity and no service

My wife and I took the tour with Loris. Loris was very good and can’t recommend him enough. He is knowledgable, helpful and easy to be with. The food side of the tour was interesting, Loris wanted us to experience several types of good quality local bites combined with a circuit around interesting sites and facts of Venice. Unfortunately the order in which the food was sampled didn’t really work for us, gelato, then chocolate, followed by fried seafood for example… Okay if you have a cast iron stomach. Loris explained that the order of seeing the parts of Venice dictated the order of the food. Hence why we scored 8/10, not 10/10. Walking tour with food stops

Er konnte alles erklären und ist auch auf alle Fragen eingegangen, die währenddessen aufgekommen sind. Einfach klasse. Loris provided a fantastic overview of Venice in three hours. We walked almost 20,000 steps with a lot of history and fun facts about the city. Loris was super helpful even before the trip on giving tips where to get delicious lunch / Cicchetti and how to get gondola without dealing with 10,000 tourists.
