Our group loved spending the whole day with Noemi! Right out of the gate, as soon as I made my booking, she was a fabulous communicator. She arranged everything! She hired a FANTASTIC driver, and made sure to accommodate every single whim and wish on our list. We traveled the Amalfi coast, stopping along the way for food and shopping. She made us feel like family, taking care of everyone’s needs and preferences. We had THE MOST AMAZING lunch, right along the side of the road, not a restaurant, simply a shop, she did all of the ordering and we had the best, most authentic meal! We were delighted. And then, we reached Pompeii; this is where Noemi SHINES. She knows everything about Pompeii, not only does she know how to navigate and narrate it perfectly, but she has developed an internal treasure hunt, and little games along the way keeping you fully engaged and in the spirit of exploration. Mariagrazia was a perfect guide for the day. She met us at our hotel in Naples and worked with us on the agenda for the day. We did not have any "must do" for the day but were able to describe our idea of a "good day" and she did the rest. The whole day was amazing. Mariagrazia was full of information about the region. She navigated the roads, stops, and restaurant for us. I really only have glowing things to say about the experience. She was also very gracious with our two young daughters that wanted some beach time and to do some singing in the car. Noemi was amazing from the time we booked our experience. She was helpful finding tickets to the site and the right train and shuttle to get there. She was very easy to communicate with in English. Once we arrived, Noemi greeted our 3 boys (ages 6,9,11) with love. They had a great time with the scavenger hunt she setup and learned a ton during the day from all of her engaging stories. My wife and I could not have given them an experience anywhere close to what she gave them. Pompei was incredible and I know it was a much more meaningful experience with her there to guide us. Noemi could not have been more lovely and charming - she made all of us ( my wife and I and three 13 year olds) feel welcome and engaged on our journey through Pompeii. The weather was cloudy and a bit rainy but Noemi was a ray of sunshine. She shared her knowledge, her personal stories, made us laugh and sing - literally! And she navigated our moody teens with kindness and compassion. We learned so much about the daily life of the Pompeiians as well as their tragic demise. It is a truly remarkable archeological site - mind blowing really. So glad we got to share this with Noemi! Noemi is a gem!

Mariagrazia was very nice, but she was more a driver than a tour guide. This is what the itinerary said what was in store for us: Check out from viewpoints, nature, and cultural gems such as Villa Oplonti, Positano and Amalfi plus other stops your local host has prepared for you along the way. Unfortunately, the description did not match the actual tour. We had three stops and got back to Naples 45 minutes before the tour was to end. Stop 1 was to try fresh mozzarella and cheese. Loved this! Our next stop was Positano but it seemed like she really didn't want to be go there and she stayed in the car for the hour that we explored the seaside town. Then it was off to Amalfi where we ate lunch at her cousin's restaurant that has an incredible water view. It also was the most expensive restaurant we ate at during our entire trip. After our lunch we were told we could explore the town for an hour. Our tour guide stayed behind in the restaurant and we went out again on our own without a guide. Since we had paid for a tour guide, we did not research what to do in the towns because that is what a tour guide is for, right? We never visited Villa oplonti and the description of the tour states that tickets for Villa Oplontis are included. Just OK

We had a wonderful tour of Pompeii with Noemi. We had 2 kids (9, 11), and she ensured that they were having fun and learning along the way! We had a great day. We didn’t have any previous ideas of what to see other than watching a TV show about the area. Mariagrazia knew the show and took us to places better than the show. She showed us Her Amalfi coast. Every where we went we got special treatment because we were with Mariagrazia. From flexible restaurant reservations to preferred water taxi’s. I highly recommend. We had a great time with Mariagrazia. Her communication was great prior to our day with her. She was also able to adjust the pickup spot to make it easier for us. While on our trip, she was awesome at pointing out history and local points of interest. She took us to a cheese factory and we were able to see mozzarella being made and we even were able to try the cheese right from the production line. You can’t get any fresher than that! She also took us to try some local sweets that were amazing. I could go on and on as we experienced much more than what I have noted, however, I wanted to at least call the places that we would have never experienced if we were a part of a big tour group. It was fun because she engaged all of us and had some fun conversations with our kids and our youngest about video games. This was our third time using With Locals and it did not disappoint. It is so much better as Mariagrazia didn’t take the “normal” tourist route which would have added a lot of driving time and less time experiencing the local culture. We cannot recommend her enough as we had a great day with her! Fun experience seeing the Amalfi coast

Noemi was so lovely, the train was raining late and we were stressed about missing the tour and she was waiting for us at the station ready to go all smiles. My kids were so happy in her explanation of Pompei’s history as she used terms they could understand and she kept them entertain the entire time. The kids felt comfortable to ask questions and loved the treasure hunt, with prizes at the end as well! We had a wonderful and relaxing day with Mariagrazia as she drove us to see the towns along the Amalfi Coast. We met up with her at the Central Naples train station and then headed to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi where we wandered a bit I. Town and enjoyed a delicious seaside lunch and Ravello, where we toured the Villa Rufala which to me was the most beautiful location. She gave us lots of information along the way about the culture, the history, the sea and land, the food, seems like everyone knew her everywhere we stopped as well, which was fun. Heading back we stopped in the side of the road for the best lemon ice I’ve ever had. And she helped my husband find the sunglasses he was hoping to buy while in Italy nearby, too. We had such a lovely tour of Pompeii with Noemi. She kept our girls 11, 13 & 13 engaged—answering and asking questions the entire time. She has such a passion for, not just showing people Pompeii, but letting them experience it. Pompeii itself is incredible! It’s sad, but just mind-blowing that things from so long ago are so well preserved for us to see. I highly, highly recommend this tour! Worth every penny of your money and every moment of your time. Noemi went above and beyond for our family—helping us navigate a bus back to the train station, and then places to eat in Naples, and she did is with such joy—she loves her community and helping tourists to appreciate all that her city has to offer. Noemi was like a whirlwind when we met up. She was very friendly and her English was very good. The Ice Breaker was getting me to traverse the Piazza del Plebiscito Blindfolded, as prisoners were reputed to have attempted in order to gain their freedom. (I nearly made it). Noemi was so passionate about her city, and described how it came to be as it is now, from the earliest formative volcanos, to the socio political struggles through the ages. She really brought the place to life. The "Shrine" to Maradona was a surprise, as was the varied graffiti art around the Spanish Quarter. We loved the 'Nini, Toto, Peppi" Story. Hilarious!! The Naples equivalent to "Morecambe and Wise" we think. She rounded off the tour at the most amazing Pizza restaurant "Vincenzo Capuano", where you were given golden Scissors to cut into your Pizza. We did a treasure hunt in Pompeii with Noemi and my 11 year old loved it. She keeps saying what a lovely person Noemi is as she truly is. The treasure hunt in Pompeii takes 3 hours and I was worried it might be too long but actually with all those interesting stories and lots to see we’d easily listen to Noemi for another hour. Time really flies. I would recommend Noemi and the treasure hunt tour to any family with younger children. Even the adults have lots of fun! Noemi is just great! Mariagrazia was absolutely amazing. My husband and I had about Amalfi but Mariagrazia showed us Amalfi Coast. She was so knowledgeable about the area. We let her guide us and what time it was. We tasted fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheese😻 Fresh figs. Toured a beautiful grotto. Had the most delicious lemon slush. Lunch was FANTASTIC!!! We let her choose and it was the best meal!! Noemi was, in a word, perfection. She went above and beyond, helping coordinate a taxi for our large and complicated group, requesting different drop offs at different times. She even met us in Napoli Centrale to assist with our transfer! Noemi was absolutely wonderful with the children in our group, helping them appreciate the site in a way that was really appreciated by us all. For the rest of us, she added additional explanation and was always able to answer our questions. So it wasn’t just a tour for kids. For families traveling with children, Noemi is the absolute best.
