Portofino is so much more than a global jet-set hotspot, come with me for an off the beaten path day trip to discover the scenic beauties of the Portofino Marine Reserve. From medieval castles, VIP-owned villas to ancient myths and contemporary gossip this area has it all!
I have been lucky enough to spend my summers here since I was born and inevitably fell in love with these places. As a professional boat skipper I have had the opportunity to convey the unique beauties and stories of this area for over 5 years and cannot wait to see you fall in love with this area as well!
Join me on a cruise towards Portofino and San Fruttuoso and embrace the unmatched beauty of the Italian Riviera. We will pass through Paraggi and its Castle as well as the Cervara Abbey as well as Portofino and its Lighthouse. We will finally reach the bay of San Fruttuoso with its magical abbey and the Christ of the Abysses submerged statue before heading back. Throughout the tour, we will stop in secluded coves for snorkelling and have plenty of time to sunbathe and soak in the Italian summer.

We will pick you up at your preferred port: - Rapallo - Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino -
Cruise
We will cruise towards the Portofino Marine reserve passing by La Cervara Abbey, Paraggi Bay and the Paraggi Castle -
Snorkle Stop
We will drop anchor at Baia Cannone, a tiny little beach just outside the village of Portofino. A must-see! -
Stop
If you like we will dock in Portofino and have plenty of time to stroll around town and see the San Giorgio & Divo Martino Churches, the San Giorgio Castle and the world-famous Piazzetta. -
Snorkle Stop
We will drop anchor once again under one of the most iconic villas: the Dolce & Gabbana Mansion. Spiaggia dell'Olivetta - where the villa is located - is the perfect spot to snorkle, sunbathe and enjoy the relaxed rythem of the Italian riviera. -
Cruise
We will cruise around the Portofino Lighthouse and towards San Fruttuoso passing through Cala degli Inglesi. -
Stop
Once arrive in the San Fruttuoso Bay you will have the chance to step off and visit the 10th Century Abbey. Also, we will e able to stop for you to dive and see the Christ of the Abysses submerged statue. -
Cruise
We will cruise back and use any spare time for other mediterranean dips or sunbathe onboard -
Drop-off
We will end our trip back at one of our meeting point or at any sea-view restaurant you might have booked or seen during our trip. -

Highly recommend this company! Had an amazing sunset boat tour. The skipper was so nice and knowledgeable and it was very reasonably priced. They were flexible with what you could do on the boat tour, we decided to not stop for a swim. We had to change boats due to weather conditions per their recommendation and we ended up being really happy with the Salpa soleil 18. We had a wonderful boat ride. The guide was friendly and a pleasure to ride with. We loved that the boat was private and just for our family. We stopped in portofino and were able to swim in the sea. Had a great experience! Kept us up to date on changing weather conditions and managed to get us out even though our schedule wasn’t flexible. A great knowledge of the area and a beautiful tour or the Italian riviera. This was the private tour we’d been searching for. Additionally we had a great boat captain, parts of the ride were a bit choppy due to the winds but he drove the boat with skill to keep us dry and comfortable! We have an amazing half day tour with Jake. We were picked up in Portofino and Jake knew all the right spots to take us to around the coast from San Fruttuoso, Baia Cannone, Santa Margherita, and more. He also shared history of the area along the way and let us swim off the boat in any area we liked. The boat was also immaculate - Brand new and spacious.

We had the best time with Jake cruising from Santa Margherita around Portofino. The weather wasn’t the best but it was still one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. There were five of us along on the trip - three adults and two kids, five and four, and everyone had a great day. We stopped at San Fruttuoso for a swim, walked around Portofino and swam in Cannon Bay. Jake was so friendly and relaxed and let us choose what we wanted to do during the tour.

As a licensed boat skipper I will be happy to guide you through he beauties of the Portofino Natural Park. After spending some years studying in London, I decided to start something of my own on the Italian Riviera: where I grew up during the summers. Over these years I have hosted thousands of guests and helped them discover what this part of Italy has to offer.
