My guided experience with Alp was everything I had hoped for and more! Alp was beyond accommodating to my last-minute request for revamping our whole tour itinerary. He immediately rose to the challenge, was willing to revamp our whole itinerary without any frustration or attitude, and assured me that he will help me find what im looking for. And our journey began. Along the way, he not only helped me find what i was looking for (which actually took us 2-3hrs off the original agenda), but he also guided me to a few different and unexpected places that were rooted in local community where I was able to meet with local scholars at a gorgeous madrasa, have tea, and enjoy meaningful and educational engagements. Alp komt netjes z'n afspraken na. We troffen hem dus op tijd bij het meeting point. Vervolgens gingen we te voet op weg naar de metro en vervolgens met de boot naar het eiland. Van begin tot eind hadden we een breed uiteenlopend en geanimeerd gesprek. We were supposed to to the Princes day tour but i recently recovered from a bout of fatigue, Alper was nice enough to accommodate us despite the rather drastic change of plans. We were thrilled with the idea to do more relaxed exploring with a local at a chill pace, and what fun a day it turned out to be! From secret spots with century old charm but modern day snack opportunities, panoramic views of the city from a mosque's garden on a perfect sunny day (Alper took some great pictures of my husband & i, best ones so far on this trip) to strolls off the beaten path, tea in secret rose gardens, all with interesting stories & anecdotes of a city we're visiting for the first time.... we were very lucky to have had this planned albeit "spontaneous" day with Alper, and we can't wait to be back. it was a wonderful way to experience Istanbul, and to cap off our last full day in this amazing city. This day with Alp going to Buyukada was definitely a highlight of the ten days my son and I spent together in Istanbul. The ferry ride was relaxing and provided a different perspective of this beautiful part of the world . It was great getting away for a day from the crowds in Beyoglu and enjoying the calmer atmosphere on the island. The bike ride was relaxing and fun and Alp went above and beyond to provide us a great experience and share his knowledge of the history and the architecture. The restaurant where we had lunch was awesome and the meal one of the best we had in Turkey. This was my first time to Istanbul and like all my trips I like to see the other side of the city away from the hustle and bustle. Alper’s tour to the Prince’s island delivered this in spades. The views on the island is something else, we would’ve never thought Istanbul had this to offer. I consider myself an experienced traveller and I always book tours and guides wherever I go. I have to say that Alper is one of the best guides I've ever had the privellage of travelling with! Everything about the experience was perfect, and my wife and I had high standards given that it was the last day of our honeymoon! The Prince's Islands were a dream. The scenery was stellar and had a real island paradise feel to them; a perfect end to our honeymoon! The water, the forrests, the hills, the cliffs, the architecture, the history; it had everything! Alper himself was flawless as a guide; goes above and beyond in every way. He is such a nice person and amazing company. He somehow had answers even to the most obscure questions we had and had an in depth knowledge of everything, whether it was related to the islands or not! Logistically, this was a very tricky trip to customise; ferries, trains, bicycles, golf carts (the only vehicles on the island) etc. Despite all the challenges (including our late start time, fiddling with the itinerary and a night time storm that cancelled our ferries), Alper was always one step ahead and dropped us off safe and sound! All in all, an absolutely stellar experience that I can't recommend enough! Thanks so much Alper for making our honeymoon so special!Honestly, One of the Best Tours Ever

He picked us up at ferry terminal, explained a lot during the boat ride, had plenty of precious recommendations, everything was arranged on the island. Short stop in a cute coffee shop, bike rental, great bike tour with spectacular views in peaceful nature, delicious lunch in a small restaurant on top of a breathtaking bay, relaxing ride back to the small town followed by the transfer back to European side. This is the best experience we had in our trip in Istanbul! We booked Princes' Islands with Alper. The tour was one of our highlights of our stay in Istanbul. We did a lot of tours during our journeys and we must say Alper is one of our top 10 guides. He took us around to various places on Princes' Islands , but the highlight was a great fish restaurant on the island with amazing views and great food. Our tour of Buyukada island with Alper was one of the highlights of our trip to Istanbul. From the onset Alper was very accommodating to our needs. We are a family with a nine year old child. Before the tour Alper was very prompt in replying to our queries and provided detailed instructions as to the meeting point. Alper is very easy going and was no problem to get along with. He is very knowledgeable regarding the sights and attractions on the island and provided us very good information along the tour. The food choices made by Alper exceeded our expectations. We stopped at a local hotel when we arrived at the island for some refreshments. We had lemonade and a cake made specially at the hotel which was amazing. We proceeded on the tour and Alper took us to Eskibag Teras restaurant for lunch. It sits atop a high cliff overlooking the ocean with the forest as the backdrop and we could have sat here for hours just admiring the view. The food at the restaurant though was exceptional. It was a meal to remember as every dish we had was just extraordinary. As per Alper's suggestion we did the tour in the afternoon, as opposed to the morning, departing Istanbul at 14:30. This was a very good suggestion as the weather was more manageable at this time of day. This guided tour with Alper was the highlight of our stay in Istanbul. It was a very welcome change from the hustle and noise of the city. We went on a bike ride around the big island and stopped for lunch at seafood restaurant with amazing views. The island has a lot of geourgous views of Istanbul, and very pretty architecture, with old houses in varying degree of wear and tear. The island also has a Greek monistary that is definitely worth venturing into. Alper was very knowledgeable and was able to answer the question that I had about some of the history of the sites. I wasn’t expecting the kind of magical experience I ended up having. I booked this tour specifically to change up the scenery of Istanbul. The city is hectic and I wanted to check out what the locals do for recreation and I was absolutely amazed. Alper is also an amazing guide and knew just about everything about everything. We took the ferry to the islands and enjoyed a nice long bike ride followed by a walk to the very top of the mountain where we had lunch. Even during the last day of lockdown we were able to enjoy every bit of the dining experience in the outdoors next to an old church. We took pictures and then took a scenic bike ride down the hill followed by a ferry ride back to Istanbul. This trip was amazing and it will be with me as long as I live. My partner and I had a free day, no plans for the day so we decided to contact Alper about availability of his tour to Price Island and luckily Alper responded quickly. Lucky for us he was available to do the tour. We met with Alper in Istanbul and from there he took us to the port to get the ferry to Prince Island. From there we went to a gallery on a beautiful building on the hills of Prince Island. From there we went to pick up the bikes and went from the main town up to the hills with the most spectacular views of the Marmara Sea and the islands near by. The homes in the Prince Islands are amazing. Riding around town with Alper was like being with a local friend, he was very courteous and respectful. Highly recommend Alper to take you on his tour of the island so beautiful there and relaxing. Prince Island Beautiful!

My daughter (12) and I went with Alper in the the bike ride around one of the Princes’ islands. The tour was amazing with breathtaking scenery especially during the lunch at the restaurant! My partner and I booked the Princes Island tour with Alper before we came on holiday because we both like slightly quirky experiences. Alper was responsive and friendly to messages before we met and in many ways it felt like spending a day with a good friend sharing their home area with us rather than being with a tour guide. The ferry ride was relaxing and the bicycle ride hot, but very much worth the effort for the eventual destination in a restaurant in the most beauriful surroundings. Lunch was delicious too! We had a wonderful day with Alpe. He is a kind, gentle, man. The pace of the tour was really relaxed (which we liked a lot) and there was a lot of opportunity to stop, photograph and chat. Alpe took us to an amazing restaurant with stunning views and a wonderful selection of vegan/vegetarian dishes. This was a great tour of the Islands which I would highly recommend. Alper has a very welcoming warm and personality with in depth knowledge of the area and culture. It was lovely mix of walking, cycling and rest periods. We were met at the ferry terminal and took the boat across. The food and drink stop offs were perfect. I fact the lunch venue was one of my favourite so far in Istanbul. There were plenty of opportunities to take photos of the views. Alper was very flexible and the tour could be adjusted if needed for rest or questions. I definitely don’t think we would have discovered any of the area’s without the tour. It was the right length and activity for a tour and we really enjoyed it! Great tour of the Islands

I had a great time with Alper. What I basically wanted to do, was learn a trick or two in the kitchen and for someone to show me around the island (Büyükada). I got what I opted for. Alper spoke excellent English, was knowledgeable, funny, kind and very flexible. I'd book him again!Great time

A wonderful tour of Princes Island. An exhilarating day away from busy Istanbul. Alper was a great guide. Very friendly, informative and easy going. The bike ride and hike were definitely worth the effort. The views from around the Island are breathtaking. Alper's secret places were an added bonus. Private Day Trip to Princes' Islands
