Teo was a tremendously delightful and knowledgeable guide. She took me around to many clothing, jewelry and art shops. She suggested I look at each store, get a business card and then venture back after lunch. Great advice!! I previously passed many of these stores but with Teo as my guide she explained buildings's history and many people this is also where they create their works of art, clothing and jewelry. Stylish, energetic, funny, warm and empathetic, A Teo is a giant good vibe unto herself. Firstly, she was very chill when we were (as usual running late) which impressed us. It was easy to spot her at the meeting point - she was the one with the cool clothes and colorful hair and we knew this was our person for something a bit different! She took us all over the various parts of the city, and I loved her insights into the more artistic areas of the city and her sharing style was fun, funny, sharp, and hilarious. Had a wonderful time with Teo on our shopping tour. She found interesting clothing for myself and my two daughters (19 and 18 years old) and had spot on advice about what looked good on us. It is great to shop with a local who can find you the best paella pan, great jewelry and a dress that was seen in sex in the city all in the same afternoon. Het was niet helemaal wat we ervan verwachtten. Teo is een hartstikke leuke en aardige en grappige vrouw. Maar het lukte haar niet om contact te maken met onze 2 15-jarige meiden. En dat was wel echt de bedoeling. Ze vond ook niet de shopjes die aansluiten bij tieners. Veel sieraden winkeltjes, maar geen kleding aansluitend op de leeftijd. De moeders vonden het wel leuk, maar het ging eigenlijk om de meiden! En 4 x 60 euro is wel veel geld voor 3 uurtjes shoppen. We geven een 7 omdat de moeders het leuk vonden, maar voor de pubers had het niet gehoeven. Niet helemaal

One of the highlights of our trip A. Teo took us to unique studios where we could watch designers working. We saw an amazing purse shop, jewelry, leather goods, fabulous clothing stores. She also took us to a vintage shop selling nuts roasted on the premises. And later we stopped for pastries. She taught us about Spanish culture and history. I went on the tour with my son and it was great. Teo payed a lot of attention to him ( especially when I was trying on stuff in the changing rooms) and showed him great things, toys, told him interesting stories, showed us things we would have never discovered ourselves. two was open to all our requests. It was actually quite funny as my son was a little taken aback by Teo's unconventional outfit. A.Teo was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Even though we got lost trying to find meeting location (totally our fault!), she found us and was warm and gracious. What a perfect afternoon with Teo. She took our desire for specific shopping items and built our day around visiting amazing local to Barcelona stores for an amazing shopping experience. She even made adjustments on the fly after she learned my son is a magician and had us visit the oldest magic store in Barcelona. Teo also played our shopping advocate as I don't speak spanish and she was able to work with store owners for the items that I wanted to buy. We took the WW2 Spy tour and Teo was a wealth of very interesting information. Spain may have been officially neutral, but it was not neutral at all. We loved the connection of her great grandfather and the spy/double agents. She has maps, photos, documentation that she shares. However, it wasn’t just WW2, when we were at Passeig de Gràcia, she gave detailed explanations of Casa Battlló (Gaudí), Casa Museu Amatller (delicious hot cocoa), and Casa Lleó Morera. We wanted a mostly WW2 tour with a little architecture too. Very highly recommended tour! Teo, a Great Guide and Historian!

We had a GREAT experience doing the “Jews and Gentiles in Barcelona” tour with Teo! She shared historical information, remains of actual locations and many wonderful anecdotes. Teo really brought the existence of Barcelona’s Jews throughout the ages to life for us! Teo gave us a very informative tour of the gothic quarter. She took us into shops and explained the history/unique architecture of places the average tourist would walk by, and have no idea the historical significance or story of that spot is. This is the only type of tour you can get from a local, that really knows Barcelona. I would recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your trip, so you can return to places you saw on tour that you would like to spend more time at. Informative - not your typical tour!
