We had an incredible experience with Jojo. She picked us up right on time. Very friendly and sweet... The road trip was nice. We stopped to get coffee, and the breakfast we had was great! Lunch in the beach was good as well. Throughout the trip, Jojo made sure we were great at all times and if we needed anything else! She took care of everything as described. This is a totally unique day that you could never experience without JoJo’s inside connections. Basically you are allowed into a naval base, and are driven around and supervised by lovely Thai sailors. After a delicious Thai breakfast we boarded a navy boat, wore Navy life jackets and were taken to a picturesque uninhabited island. After a short drive on the navy’s open air bus we arrived at the best beach. Jojo provided us with deck chairs, water and organiséd our snorkeling and glass bottom boat ride. The toilet facilities were fine with showers and proper toilets. We spent a perfect day in the sun. Jojo was a great host. Very helpful and a lovely person. Note- as it’s a Naval Base you are expected to wear life jackets when in the sea, even if you can swim. All part of the cultural experience 😀Totally amazing day

We had a great day with JoJo! She was was an excellent guide and her island escape adventure was outstanding. It really did exceed our expectations. We got an early start. The drive to the island was very pleasant. We stopped for coffee along the way, and had a great Thai breakfast once we arrived at the port. We also made food selections for our lunch picnic. JoJo arranged for an early ferry departure, which allowed us to maximize our time. After the short ferry ride, JoJo setup our chairs under a hut at the beach, and arranged all of our desired activities for the day. From there, we explored the beach, and then went trekking to the top of the island, which provided a great panoramic view and photos. The beach and island are both very beautiful, and were not crowded. Next, we took a boat ride to the reef and went snorkeling, where we saw many fish and lots of colorful coral. After snorkeling, we ate our picnic lunch and spent some more time relaxing and enjoying the beach. JoJo then took us on a tour of a fishing village, after which we stopped for fruit and other snacks. This was a great tour. JoJo and her driver were delivered great service. She took care of all of our needs, including taking pictures and practicing our Thai language skills with us. She made sure we had a great time. We are experienced travelers and have taken many tours around the world. This was honestly one of the best we have been on, and was a highlight of our trip to Bangkok. Highly recommended! Jojo provided us with the perfect short little getaway from Bangkok. She was super nice, took care of everything and accommodated our every need. The island itself was small but so quiet and beautiful. The beach was well taken care of and we got to see some wildlife. Thank you Jo! Everything was perfect! We had an amazing day, first we went on the island. We did all the activities that Jo organised for us, so much fun! Jo took care of everything! Also we changed a bit the plan at the end, she took us in Pattaya for more activities and dinner! She took so many beautiful photos for us, we didn’t have to worry about it! The trip was a real great time! Jo is a very thoughtful, helpful, kind and cheerful person, not just a tour guide but could even talk genuinely like a friend! Thoughtful arrangement for breakfast, lunch and fruit. The island was great, quiet and enjoyable, be it to spend time with oneself, or to have fun in the water. Certainly not a resort-type place. I didn’t swim but spent some time on the little hill and along the beach to enjoy the ocean view, good to escape from the city and collect myself. I had a very lovely time in the journey and would definitely recommend it! A wonderful experience

Patomporn was such a great host! We had very comfortable transportation there, and she was super accommodating to any needs we had. We had been experiencing bad weather prior to this trip and she reached out to even recommend other destinations which was so nice! We chose to go to the island anyway and ended up with super nice weather! There is a short ferry ride to the island and then once we got to the island there were only about 20 other people there with us. It was so secluded and relaxing! Patomporn made sure we had everything we needed and we ended up going snorkeling as our activity and had a blast! I would highly recommend this experience and we would love to do this again with her! Jo was an excellent hostess, she looked after our every need. HOWEVER, she was working under incorrect description of the Escape to Local Island. "Visit non-touristy local island". When we arrived at the restaurant for breakfast there were four very large tourist buses with tourists waiting to board the same little boats we were. The boats were dangerously overcrowded. Fortunately, instead of the supposedly half hour trip to the island it took 12 minutes. Then all the tourists were bused to the other side of the island. Later many, many school children arrived to play on the same beach. We had exactly ten minutes to consume the breakfast, one of our party of four was given the wrong item, so did not eat. We had to chose off a menu for lunch to be brought by boat to the island. There was no market to visit. Kayaking was available, but they were not allowed out of the small designated area that was also the swimming area. I would recommend Jo as a hostess, but the description of the tour needs to be amended. I also feel that the price should be changed depending on how many in the group. The two of us agreed to another two on our tour, but the price was not decreased. Yes, we had a van, but that did not warrant the company receiving so much more money.1 Day Escape to Local Island

IF you decide to take this trip you will not be disappointed, The guide was personable, knowledgeable and attentive. There was no doubt that she viewed her time with us as if we were guests in her own home. The time snorkeling, kayaking and walking was a terrific way to spend the day. The food and drink was great. There is absolutely nothing I can say that is negative about this trip. Don't even hesitate to take this trip, it is worth both the investment of time and money.Worth both the time and the cost!

Jo who runs this trip was very accommodating to our hectic travel schedule, as my friend and I were literally trying to do everything in Bangkok in just a couple days. Do to the flexibility of two other travelers we were able to join their planned day and we ended up having a great beach day together. The beach is beautiful and was about 2.5 hours from Bangkok so it is a long day but really worth it. I swam all day in the clear /warm water and since it is a private island it is mostly only Thai families. Jo ensured everyone was well taken care of really cared about the activities we wanted to do. We booked a full day trip to Samesan island with Patomporn (Cho). Althought the trip had to be cancelled due to rains, Cho was able to think of a beach excursion for us very quickly. Jo took us to Koh Samae San on January 3, 2017. The island is a must-see and not too heavily populated with tourists, and there is a large range of activities to keep you busy. We recently visited Bangkok for a week and did not have extra days to go stay at one of the renowned beach resorts in Thailand. So, instead, we scheduled a day trip with Patomporn to to Koh Samae San. This proved to be a great choice! Patomporn (Jo) is an excellent host. She is very friendly, well organized, punctual and kept our entire visit running on schedule. She got us to the ferry in perfect time for the 10AM boat to the island, which is a quick 10 minute ride. She researched which beaches were open that day to ensure that we had the best experience. The island is operated by the Thai Navy so they determine which areas open on any particular day. The island operates with military precision! The ferries run on time, the beaches are super-clean, unspoiled and beautiful. The island is a marine conservation area and, best of all Samae San is not crowded because they limit the number of visitors each day. Jo was super-helpful in organizing all the activities we wanted to do during our day at the beach - snorkeling, glass-bottomed boat tour and sea-kayaking. We also did some exploring of the island on foot. Jo provided us with tasty food for the day because there are no restaurants on Samae San and you have to bring a picnic. She also took a bunch of photos of us and sent them following our tour so that we would be able to treasure our fond memories forever. I highly recommend booking this experience with Jo. Patomporn took us to an amazing, secluded beach that appears to be visited by mostly locals and a few tourists. It was so nice having her handle the transportation and food. All we had to do was relax and enjoy the day. She speaks excellent English and is very friendly and helpful. We added on snorkeling and got to ride in a glass bottomed boat as well. If you would love to experience a great beach for swimming that’s not crowded with very clean clear water and a relaxing atmosphere, then do not go to Pattaya. We booked Jojo for 2 days to maximise our limited time in Bangkok. She worked out an itinerary that covered everything from markets, temples, grand palace and eating. We went out of town and off the beaten track as well as joining the throng in the centre of Bangkok. We travelled in private A/C car, the metro, sky train, tuktuk as well as water ferries. Jojo is such a knowledgeable tour guide and we learnt so much about Thai history and culture. Nothing was too much trouble and she was totally flexible, making sure we were ok though out each day. Whenever she noticed us flagging she'd stop and get us a drink. She has a wonderful sense of humour and made our tours an absolute pleasure. We had limited time in Bangkok and JoJo was able to fit us into her schedule on the weekend. She was very flexible with our food preferences and even took us to the markets and a temple when we were getting too full of food. I had a great time with Patomporn, or JoJo. I was 1/2 hour early, and she came right away to the meeting place. She thought her English was not that good, but she was able to explain everything to me. There was only one word for a local fruit that she had to look up on google, and it did not have an English translation. She had to ask for thai chili peppers and spices for me. She was also able to get only a couple fruit to try instead of a kilogram of fruit. I highly recommend her, but you should have two people. It was a lot of food for one person, and I took some back with me.

Wir hatten einen tollen Halbtag mit Patomporn. Sie hat uns Bangkok nochmals Neue näher gebracht nach dem wir schon einige Male in BKK waren. Neu allerdings mit Kind (5j). Unserem Sohn hat die Tour super gut gefallen! Sein Highlight war das Schildkröten Füttern aber auch die Tempelbesuche hat er ganz toll gefunden. Empfehlenswerte nette Tour mit leckeren thailändischen Snacks. Toller Tag mit spannenden Eindrücken.

Jojo is sharing, thoughtful and amazing throughout the tour. I LOVE this five hour tour through market and temples. I have limited time and don’t do research myself, still am interested in everything behind. So this app is the best choice I made in this trip. Jojo tells me story behind the streets and temples and I enjoy some lovely street food. And as Taiwanese, Chinese flavour is something I am familiar with. So we skip parts of China town. That tailor made part is really great. Jojo adjusts our schedule to my need. I am very grateful about everything. And I also have some of the best photos I could dream of in this guide tour. 5 hour is just enough for me to enjoy this city and can lay back in hotel to organise those amazing photos to ig. Jo catered to our every wish and made our trip so memorable! We went to the Sukhothai ruins and cycled around the compounds. She ensured that we could cover the attractions at a comfortable pace, and introduced the markets and temples well. Highly recommended!Awesome!
