We spent our last day in Rome getting away from the busy city and taking this trip out to the castle on the beach with Claudio. It was simply wonderful…calming…serene…and we had an excellent guide to spend the day with. Lunch was great and Claudio even made dinner reservations for us back in Rome when we returned which was fantastic! We had a great time with Claudio during our day trip to Castello di Santa Severa. We were able to walk outside the castle but not inside as it was converted to a hostel a few years ago. We were a bit disappointed but it was still a great place to be. It was really nice to skip Rome for a day to enjoy a few ours at the beach. Our son loves to swim so that was the highlight of his vacation. I highly recommend this tour specially if you have kids that love the water and the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better Guide to spend the day with. Claudio was very pleasant and went out of his way to make sure we had a good time!Great getaway!

Claudio was wonderful and took us on a fantastic adventure to Santa Severa and Castel Severa along the coast of Italy. My kids ages 16 and 12 both said that Claudio was “super nice” and that “the views were insane!” at the castle. Even with some crazy rain, Claudio made the experience one to remember. He took us through the castle museum, made lunch reservations for us at a fabulous seafood restaurant right on the beach and then we got to go up to the top of the castle turret and admire the views. We loved it and highly recommend Claudio for any tour he may offer. Fantastic Adventure

We had not planned anything for our last day in Rome so I was looking for a short tour and came across this amazing wine tasting tour. I sent a message to Claudio, and he replied immediately, giving us a tailor made plan for a last minute tour that has been the highlight of our stay! Claudio accommodated our requests and did some last minute changes to the program because it was raining. Wow! Everything was excellent and Simone gave us a lot of information on the process of wine making as well as the wine we tasted at the vineyard. We also enjoyed a fantastic lunch with another wine tasting at a restaurant. Unforgettable!! Claudio is truly amazing, he is incredibly knowledgable, very friendly and will make sure you will have a fantastic experience. Worth every minute!!

We had a pleasant tour with claudio. He was a very nice man and had a lot of knowledge. However the tour did not exactly go as we expected. We had no special requests for the tour and we expected the guide to have a clear plan for us, but instead we felt we were wandering aimlessly around the city. The places we visited felt a bit random, even though they were nice. Also, the tour guide did not talk and explain as much as we wanted. All in all this was a mediocre experience. Maybe this tour is suitable for people who have a clearer plan for their tour.Nice but not what we expected

Great tour with Claudio, who adapted the tour to our time constraints. We did a good mix of famous locations and less known ones, which was perfect for our team, since some of us already knew Rome. It was also a good mix in terms of information about the city and pure biking. Sometimes, the guide is spending too much time talking about a place, while we want to see as many different places as possible. This was a highlight of our trip to Rome! Claudio was very responsive before the tour and met us at our hotel right on time. We toured some ruins and took in amazing sights before the real highlight - the winery tour at a beautiful, small local winery. Paula was an amazing host and her cute winery dog made it even better. Wat een ervaring was dit! De mooiste producten geproefd met de duidelijke uitleg van Claudio erbij. Claudio was heel relaxt en flexibel, dit zorgde bij ons ook voor rust na een paar dagen vooral het drukke Rome bezocht te hebben met twee kinderen (12 en 8) . Claudio was exceptional. Was awaiting us outside our apartment right on time for a full day in the Frascati region. Excellent first stop for a cappuccino then on to view historic sites in the mountains. Claudio’s choice of our vineyard, Antiche Terra Tuscolane with Paula as our host, was the best wine experience we have ever had. Great wines in Roman-era caves! Simply amazing. Off for lunch and more wine tasting and the food……exceptional. Great conversations, wonderful local expert and a nice day out of Rome to experience another part of Italy. We had a great start on our first night in Rome. Claudio took us around some part of the city center, and we got to ask questions about everything. Claudio even speaks Norwegian, so we kept the dialogue in this the whole time, which was really appreciated by the whole group. Our family had lots of fun walking around Rome with Claudio, and getting a taste of true Roman foods. Fresh fruits at the market, hi Pizza at the Forno to local beer and wine, the most delicious cannoli and gelate, and an outstanding taste of porchetta and local cured meats, we loved every bite! While the time spent with Claudio certainly included Frascati and wine, this tour was so much richer than I ever expected. Claudio is an interesting, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable guide, and I found myself learning details of history, archaeology, geography, and culture — including food — that were all new to me. And the scenery is beautiful! The winery visit was delightful, with tastings of some excellent wines, and a visit to the vineyard and the ancient tunnels where the wines are aged. Afterwards we went to an authentic local restaurant where Claudio introduced me to typical local dishes and ingredients — and of course more wine. We had a great day with Claudio who took us on quite the adventure through Rome at a reasonable pace. We were worried about the hills but managed them well. We decided the cycle back would be too much though and took the bikes back on the metro instead which I would highly recommend as you can spend lots more time in the city then. A fab day with a "few" hills!
