Our family of four had a wonderful day with Ngoun. Kids were aged 7 and 10 and enjoyed thoroughly. We learned a lot on the car ride and he answered all of our questions. The overlook was beautiful and the kids enjoyed exploring. The waterfalls were amazing and refreshing. And the Buddha and lingas are not to be missed. Ngoun was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating, especially as we booked the tour at the last minute. Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain we didn’t really see much of 1000 lingas and the waterfall was absolutely overflowing, so no swimming either. Obviously nothing that the guide could’ve done about that, but something to keep in mind when booking.Very good tour

My family and I had an amazing experience with our guide Lux on our adventure and nature tour in Siem Reap. Lux was prompt and professional, picking us up from our hotel and making us feel welcome from the start. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly our visit to Kulen Mountain, where Lux drove us to the summit at 487 meters high. The view from the top was absolutely spectacular, with panoramic vistas of the surrounding forests and hills. Lux knew all the best spots to take photos and even offered to take some group shots for us. We also visited the 1000 Lingams, where we saw the intricately carved sculptures under the riverbed. Lux's knowledge of the history and significance of this site added a special depth to the experience. Our next stop was the largest reclining Buddha on the nature hill, which was impressive in its size and beauty. Lux provided interesting insights into the history and culture behind this Buddha. The tour ended with a visit to a stunning waterfall, where we were able to swim and cool off in the refreshing water. Lux made sure we had a safe and enjoyable time, and we appreciated his attentiveness to our family's needs. Overall, we had a fantastic time on our adventure and nature tour with Lux. We had one of our favorite days ever with Lux! He showed us so much more than we ever expected of Cambodia. We visited Cambodia in March 2022 with our two children (6 and 3 year old) and spent a day in Kulen Mountains with Lux. It was a very good experience : the trip in his car was very comfortable and he shared a lot of interesting information about the country and the region. He adapted the rhythm and activities to match the children (and our) needs. The highlight of the day was to reach a very nice and peaceful waterfall after a short trek in the forest. We love this trip! Lux (Nguon' nickname) picked us up after breakfast, and drove us out to the mountains in his Lexus SUV. We stopped by a hidden scenic rock ledge with 180-degree view of a lush forest below us and forest mountains in the horizon. It was breathtaking, and best of all - there were no one there except us. Similarly when we arrived at the waterfalls, there was no one there. You get a wonderful feeling there - not only was the waterfall breathtakingly beautiful - you are standing on the site where all the Khmer kings came for their baptism. It was magical. Lux later brought us to the 1000 lingas upstream from the waterfalls and the reclining Buddha. Lux is very knowledgeable and speaks good English. We had a great conversations about travel, photography, education, and drone flying. It made the road trip seemed a lot shorter than it was. We had a nice lunch at a nice local restaurant on our way back. After the trip Lux sent us photos that he quietly took whilst we were having fun as a family and oblivious to our surroundings. Lux also helped us with a few things after the trip - purely as a friendly favour, He also followed up with a message to find out how we are. We travel a lot, and we have enjoyed interacting with many, many tour operators. Lux is different - he is knowledgeable, articulate yet humble, has a great work ethic and most important of all - genuinely kind. To us, he is a dear friend. Thank you Lux! Perfect

Lux picked us up from our hotel and provided us waters and cold towels. He drove us out to the mountain and stoped so we could see the scenic views. His English is absolutely perfect and he has a great energy. After seeing a bunch of temples the day before this tour was a nice break. I would definitely do it again! great escape from the heat

Highly recommended, Lux’s English is perfect ( not easy to find....) and his smile highlights your day all the way, even under 40 degrees Celsius and high humidity! 🤣😂🤣😂 We booked him fir a day but he was so good that we decided to book him also for the rest of our vacation! If you just have few days here, don’t try to save some dollars and with high probability hire the wrong guide! Lux is the WAY TO GO! The way to go!

From the first impression to the whole experience Ngoun (Lux as we call him) was great. Lux picked us up timely from an early flight, he had a nice comfortable car. Drove us up to the waterfalls and 1000 lingham, took some fab photos, knowledgeable on area and just a nice guy! He dropped us off to hotel just after check-in time. This tour is great if you arrive airport early. He is able to store reasonable amount of luggage in car while touring. Beautiful day with Lux

I had the best time with Lux at Kulen mountain; he picked me up at my hotel on time, and during the trip e proved himself funny, smart, knowledgeable, and ready to answer to all of my question about history, culture, and so on. We visited the statue of the Buddha, and the waterfalls - amazing! We also stopped to take some extra pictures of the lingas, and he showed me good spots where to take great pictures of the countryside. Finally - a beautiful surprise - Lux took some videos / pics for me and send me a beautiful video of the day! Ngoun made for an excellent guide for my Siem Reap trip. He's very knowledgeable of the area and it's  history and his ability to speak English was superb. I also found him to be very accommodating. Ngoun took us to see the reclining buddha, a thousand lingas and one of the most beautiful waterfalls we have ever seen. Very picturesque, the journey there was part of the fun, winding through the countryside and hills then up the mountain. Standing at the base of the waterfall was such an unbelievable feeling. Ngoun was very warm and knowledgeable. He even took us to an unknown place to take some pictures of the beautiful mountainous countryside. We would highly recommend his tour to all our family and friends. Definitely a must to see when in Siem Reap! Amazing!

It was great to get to meet Mr. Ngoun Sominea, he is a very friendly man and he is the his owner of this tour which he runs with his uncle Mr Phanna and his tour is based in Siem Reap Province Cambodia. His tour provides many great options. Mr. Ngou Sominea is an awesome tour leader and very well organized! His assistant Mr Phanna took me for a day trip to the temples by tuk tuk, a must for all visitors, such a great way to get around! Mr Phanna’s priority was showing me the best of the best temples and for a special experience he tried to make sure that there was minimal tourists around. This made the experience even more special because you feel like you are alone in this magical place. One of the most important qualifications for a great tour, especially when you need to be up and out by 4:30 am, is to have a great tour guide. Coming down to our lobby, Lux and his driver were already waiting for us. Lux speaks excellent English and his experience with this tour was evident by getting us to a great vantage point of watching the sun rise at Angkor Wat, guiding us through the early morning dark to sit on the moat. After watching a beautiful sunrise, Lux guided us to various parts of Angkor Wat, giving background and history as we exchanged information on relative historical and religious events. Cold water was provided throughout and we broke in between to eat at a small restaurant where there were plenty of choices that appealed to a western pallet (we recommend the banana pancakes) and service was great. We then continued on our tour with Lux and returned back to our hotel just as the hottest part of the day was emerging. Angkor Wat is huge and many people take 3 days to tour it. Having a great tour guide like Lux made our one day trip extremely full and satisfying, as well as stress-free with the pick up, return and organization by Lux. We were taken on a truly wonderful tour by Lux and his driver. We were picked up punctually at our hotel at 5:00 and driven to Angkor Wat to experience the sunrise, then we entered the temple grounds and had plenty of time to look around. We also visited Ta Prohm and Bayon Temple. Throughout the entire journey Lux conveyed all the amazing historic facts - he is a fund of knowledge and we learnt so much about Cambodia, its history, customs and people. We booked Ngoun (Lux) for a 7-hour private tour of Angkor Wat with our 1-year-old son. We wanted to start at 9.30am instead of doing the sunrise tour, which was no problem for Lux. He was flexible for the rest of the day too - very useful and necessary when travelling with a small child! He adapted the day's plan to fit in with our needs and was very accommodating. The air conditioned minivan was a great place for the baby to nap throughout the day too. Lux was super friendly and knowledgeable and had lots of good facts to share about everything. Ngoun took my wife and I on a one day trip to Ankhor Wat and other temples + a one day tour to a waterfall, the lying Buddha and the floating village. We had an excellent experience with Lux and his driver visiting the floating village and some of the more remote temples making it a full day excursion. Lux is very knowledgeable being able to explain what we were seeing and answering all our additional questions, and both he and his driver also had an extra service touch such as cold water and cold refreshing scented towels throughout the day. We did two tours with Ngoun (Lux).. the 10 tasting tour and a city tour. Lux’s English is flawless and he is very knowledgeable about local ciulture and history. The food tour was great.. terrific local places and dishes altered to meet my dietary needs without a problem. Local drinks were missing though. We had a great day with lux, it stated so early, a 450am start. We made our way to the complex and was amazed at how many people were there already, but he knew cc a shortcut, we made our way to the wall to sit and wait for the sunrise, and then the people came and just kept coming . As if by magic, things began to brighten and the glow over the complex was fantastic,lux took us inside and showed where to wait for the real sunrise over the temple, he knew exactly where to go to get the best views, we then went to a few other less well known temples and he explained all the bits and legends, about the demons, then off to the elephant parade, showing us lots of things you would miss if you didn't have an experienced guide.A great morning at angkor wat
