   Meet you private guide by the well in campo di sant’agnese.

   Take a stroll with your licensed tour leader and learn a bit of the local history around the area you are staying, the local lifestyle as well as places to see and eat!

5. Local Bacaro

   Your tour leader will accompany you to the Bacaro for the Prosecco tasting and introduce you to Mattia the Wine Tasting host! Where we will have our own table reserved in the quiet square of his Bacaro, away from the crowds!

6. 4 Tastings + 1

   Mattia will walk you through a journey of Bubbles and natural prosecco. There will also be some cicchetti for tasting during the journey. In fact you will get one cicchetto specially paired to that wine that you are tasting. You will taste a total of 4 different wines and tapas and be allowed to choose your favorite at the end for a full glass!

With so many food options available in Venice, I wanted to have someone guide me through the street food options. Adair certainly managed that plus more. She weaved snippets of history into our conversations whilst savouring a variety of foods. Adair made navigating the alleyways look easy and we probably needed her the next day when revisiting one of the cafes! We booked Adair for a Food and drink Tasting tour in Venice. She was fantastic! We could not have made a better choice. She was warm and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the food and the culture of the city. We had been to Venice before and wanted to see it from a different perspective. We also got to know a little about her personally which was delightful. We even stopped by her husband’s bar the next evening when we found ourselves wandering through the streets of Venice, looking for a place to eat. We were fortunate to do this tour with Adair. She was amazing and such a delightful person to be with. As only a local can do, we learnt a lot about the history of Venice from a unique perspective. The journey both to and from the islands was filled with interesting information and highlights. On Murano we met with Kiara, who gave us what can only be called an exceptional art experience in the most beautiful galleries of glass ❣️ In Burano we met a lovely 83 year old woman who shared how she still creates by hand the rare lace work and stitching that tragically is a dying art. Adair was a fanrtastic support on the day, we had a big issue as our ferry was cancelled so we arrived over an hour late to Venice, on our journey to venice Adair helped replan our afternoon to make sure our children had what they needed and enjoyed their time in Venice. Private taxis (whilst expensive) were defiantly worth it to reduce the stress of getting around on a tight timescale. Adair organised a mask making workshop for our 7 and 4 year olds which was wonderful and exactly what we needed after sitting on a bus for 6 hours! Both Adair and us had a bit of scheduling snafus, but we were able to work it out and I am so glad we did. Adair was absolutely amazing! She made everything simple for us. She met us at an easy spot near our hotel and went at a pace that was comfortable to all of us. We learned so many things about Venice and its landmarks and history. We continued to reference things Adair told us as we saw lions throughout town and encountered wells and churches in each square. Adair met our group of four near the Rialto bridge. Being a native English speaker made it really convenient for us to converse with. Adair took us away from the crowds through quiet alleys and she was a wealth of knowledge and information and told us a lot about the history of Venice and showed us the highlights that we were interested in. She gave us a lot of information on food, drinks and different modes of transportation. All four of us felt very impressed with her as the tour covered everything we needed to know and more. We booked a Venice walking tour with Adair. She was he was great! We were able to request a few spots we wanted to see and she made sure we saw them. Adair was full of knowledge about the locations we visited and even took the time to suggest some good spots to grab lunch and/or dinner. She also suggested some places to see in Murano. Adair was amazing! My kids (5 and 11 y.o.) were a bit tired from a jet lag but she was very engaging and patient with them! They really enjoyed the scavenger hunt and a special treat at the end. Even though Venice can be very busy, Adair’s tour felt very intimate. We walked via charming steers and didn’t see a lot of people all the time. She was easy to talk to and knew a lot of interesting facts about the history of the city which appealed to both adults and the kids. She gave us great tips and advice on how to navigate Venice best and some of her recommendations for food and drinks were fantastic! Since there was a regatta in Venice the day we arrived at the airport, our planed boat taxi was delayed and the alternate transportation made us late arriving to meet Adair. Communication with Adair was great while we were navigating the unplanned transportation. Adair was flexible and met us at our hotel. The walking tour of Venice was perfect. SHe was knowledgeable about the historical events and structures. The pace was perfect and tailored our tour to include a couple snack-beverage stops. There were 4 of us. My teen daughter and I had a wonderful time touring Venice with Adair! We enjoyed walking, taking photos, tastings of the local food and drink specialties and taking in the sights and history of the city. Adair was a perfect fit for us as a guide and went above and beyond to accommodate my custom tour request! She expertly personalized every detail of this tour to suit our wishes and interests, is friendly, knowledgeable, and has an obvious love and respect for her city. Adair made everything so easy, starting with meeting us at the train station and ending the tour at St. Mark's square, perfectly timed with our Skip-the-Line tickets to enter the Basilica(that I would not have known to book without Adair recommending me to do so). I requested to add on a trip to the island of Burano and Adair arranged a private boat transfer & guided us around the island, then back to Venice for more fun and exploration! Throughout our time together, we enjoyed a few food tasting stops at fantastic spots we would never have known to try. Before ending our tour, Adair showed us how to take a private gondola and how to use the public transit boats which made teh rest of our day go very smoothly.
