Ricardo met us at the boat but that was it. He handed us off to our skipper Joao who was a very nice man but this experience was not at all as it was advertised. There was no learning the ropes, learning how to raise the sail, how to navigate...it was a tour of the river. I told the skipper this wasn’t what we were expecting and he did let my son hold the wheel a bit and was very nice and friendly but it’s not st all the experience that was advertised Nice tour but not what i ordered

If you're looking for a beautiful boat ride at sunset, this is the experience for you. However, if you want a tour that deepens your understanding of the city, this isn't it. **The Good:** - Felipe and his team are very pleasant. - The boat is beautiful. - The views during the ride are stunning. **The Not So Good:** While we were eager to learn about what we were seeing, information was mostly provided only on the return trip. The crew described five landmarks in detail but left us with many unanswered questions. We hoped the tour would give us a sense of Lisbon's layout, major sites, and some history, but it focused on brief descriptions of a few landmarks. Additionally, it wasn't clear before the tour that multiple boats are assigned upon arrival. For my safety-conscious partner, this was a red flag that could have been avoided with a clearer explanation of the check-in process. Drinks are served during the tour, but the wine quality is low and overly sweet. Overall, we don’t regret the trip, but we left with more questions than a deeper understanding of the city.More “boat ride” than “boat tour”

I have nothing to say about the trip. However, the winds were very high and the few vessels that went out could not raise their sails because of the winds. Also, it was raining on and off. We were asked if we could reschedule earlier in the day and we said no but to please cancel. He then offered an option we did not want and never cancelled th ed booking . We of course did not show up because of th he very poor conditions. One of our group was a seasoned sailor and said we should not go out.Wanted to take us out in high winds for sailing?

We definitely had a great time on this cruise. Our skipper, Pedro, was very knowledgeable and gave us the whole costal tour of Lisbon. He pointed out many sites followed by an in-depth description and background of each of the sites. He also gave us tips and tricks of sightseeing as well as good places to visit and eat. He also found the perfect spot to watch the sun set. Great sunset cruise

Amazing tour on a very nice sailing ship, I would say this is a „must do“ tour for anyone staying in Lissabon when the weather is good. The tour starts sailing along the coast line of the city vice very interesting explanations from the skipper. On the way back you can watch a beautiful sunset, good for fantastic fotos of the scenery and your loved ones! It was not the experience that we were sold. Ricardo didn’t show up, we were left with a skipper that had very little knowledge of the history behind the monuments. He kep in looking at the clock as if he couldn’t wait for the two hours to be over.It was not as expected

What is better than being aboard a gorgeous catamaran watching the sunset with a beautiful view of the sights of Lisbon. Yeah, nothing! Then add some champagne to mix and it gets even better. We felt like a million bucks as we were treated by Pedro our host and skipper on the boat. A great way to see the city and learn some history along the way.This is a "don't miss" experience

Last August I visited Lisbon with a group of 28 (!) Girlfriends. First we wanted to make a trip with a sailboat via Ricardo along the Lisbon coast, but because of the size of the group this became difficult. Ricardo personally came with a good initiative, because he also had a motor yacht with space for more than 30 people. We all very much enjoyed the boat trip. It was a great way to view Lisbon from a different perspective. In addition, the sunset was beautiful. We had a great time and the skippers took good care of us. Highly recommended.Great boat trip!

I have privatized the boat for a morning trip for my boyfriend and I. My boyfriend is mad about sailing and was expecting to take part of the sailing process. But finally the skipper was a bit absent with us and only did his work. We expected to share more with him, as a local. He did not speak much about the city. I would rate this experience higher than 5 stars if I could. The team has been nothing but phenomenal from the planning process to the day of. The boat was fantastic - with a hammock like area for us to relax in. The crew on board (Antonio and Josey) took care of us with amazing food, conversation and took some of the best pictures of our trip. We are very glad that we booked this boat ride. It was a wonderful way to see another area of Lisbon. The captain was great and the boat was beautiful. The only thing I would suggest is to put specific directions on where to meet up in the notes as soon as someone reserves this experience. Finding the gate at the marina was a bit of a challenge. Me and my girlfriend went on this boat ride and really enjoyed it, it was the highlight of our holiday! The captain was a very nice man who came and chatted to us enough but also left us to ourselves which was very nice. I'll preface my review with the fact that Lisbon was going through an unusual cold spell for June the week we were there. The temperature, at the start of our tour, was 17C/62F but with the winds on the water, it felt much colder. Had the evening been warmer, the boat ride would certainly have been more pleasant. That said, we were told to meet the boat at the wharf and there was a map on our voucher indicating the location. However, the wharf is quite large and even our cab driver had to ask for directions twice in order to find it. We made it in time with just a few minutes to spare. There were 8 people in total on this tour including ourselves. By 7:15, we were on the water and our "pilot" was getting the welcome drinks for everyone while my husband held the wheel of the boat steady. When you first pull out of the wharf, you pass by container ships, fishing trawlers and boats of all sizes. The Tagus river is very large so it took a while to get close enough to the city center to view the buildings along the coast. It was quite different from our boat ride in Porto where the Douro is much narrower so you can clearly see everything from both sides of the river. The sun was setting around 8:45 so we were already on our way back to the wharf which wasn't the ideal spot to view the sunset. Sunset Sailing Tour in Lisbon

This was a nice cruise but beware the location can be difficult to find-our taxi driver let us off at the wrong dock and we walked a quarter mile or more. Thank goodness for google maps. But even so once there the gate was hard to see. But once there we enjoyed. They also do longer cruises which include a meal and I would have liked that. Lots of fun and beautiful way to see LisbonVery enjoyble but——

The tour was a highlight of our weekend in Lisbon, it allows to see the from a different perspective, one of the best monents was to see the bridge from under and the possibility to celebrate with a drink. The staff was beyond any expectations: the reason is that I mistakely booked in the wrong date and realized that when it was too late. The staff managed to find another boat for the next day altough they were full and without any extra cost. Thank you so much to all the staff!Great experience and service

This was a really lovely trip, and great thing to do in Lisbon. There were 11 of us, and the boat had plenty of room. Very relaxing, with fantastic views over the city. Host was very friendly. We brought some wine on to have a couple of glasses while we sailed - and that wasn't a problem. Very reasonably priced, I would recommend it!Great trip!

My husband and I booked this tour and were excited about a new experience. Our hosts - online and captain day of - were very friendly and welcoming. We were a little late due to some directional challenges. Piece of advice - make sure you have very specific directions to give your taxi driver because there are two docks. The boat was bigger than I expected and they had blankets for us which was a nice touch along with beer and wine selection. The captain, Felipe, was so nice to talk to about the history and other fun facts of our tour. He left us alone and then talked to us when we wanted to which was nice. This was a great experience: Just the 3 of us and our wonderful host and skipper Joao. He was so kind and welcoming and made sure our glasses of sparkling wine were always topped up. Whenever possible he turned off the engine and put the sails up and that made the experience all the more enjoyable.
