Had a great time with Ajay, our guide of the day. He showed us around in his area and even brought us to the shelter he grew up in Delhi after leaving home in Nepal at the age of 12. We got a tour to the shelter and got a glimpse of how things are managed. Also we played with the children, which was a lovely feeling, they connected instantly with us. It felt like a warm and positive place for these little fellas :) We can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this if you really look for a authentic experienceAwesome day with empowering stories

Sweet, salty, spicy, drinks and food, there was a bit of everything at various stalls, some of which were over 200 years old, and everything was without exception delicious. We booked with Vishnu for a short private tour in an afternoon of Qutub Minar on the day we arrived in Delhi having travelled overnight. Vishnu picked us up on time and from the beginning to the end our tour was just fantastic, he told us interesting stories and educating us as we went. Vishnu also extended our tour took us to some additional sites we did not expect and he stopped to buy us a masala chai. A 3 hour tour was actually 5 and we enjoyed every minute. We had the pleasure of booking Karni for our Full Day Coverage of New Delhi City Tour. Karni was quite accommodating, easy-going and talkative. He even allowed us to pick and choose what we wanted to see. Because it's not necessarily a walking tour, Karni provided a car for the excursion, which was a good idea given that some of the most famous sites are on opposite sides of the city. In the car ride, we talked about everything concerning India. I personally found him to be quite knowledgeable, and I enjoyed talking with him about the life history of Mahatma Gandhi, Queen Victoria (Empress of India), and topics concerning the Mughal Empire. Karni is a fountain of information. Most importantly, we had a problem with one of the local delivery vendors and Karni was right there as our advocate to straighten out the situation for us and make sure that kind of misunderstanding doesn't happen to others--a gesture we appreciated. Overall, we recommend Karni highly should you ever visit India. He's worth your time. We highly recommend him

Karni was a lovely guide with clear knowledge about the area and the food we were eating. He took us to the spice market and showed us the local spices with insightful conversations on what they are used for. Afterwards we meandered to different stalls and had lots of the local favorites from trusted sources, including some sellers that have been around for generations! Karni was great at asking us for our preferences, giving us lots of options, and adding little historical facts about the area along the way. Perhaps our only suggestion would be a stronger tour framing at the start with context about the history of the market and local food traditions more generally, as well as a bit of an overview about how many dishes we’re eating so we could pace ourselves better. Would recommend Karni as a guide to anyone who wants to explore the local area! And we came away with contacts and suggestions for other tours as well! Eating through the old market!

Virendra ist ein hauptberuflicher Tourguide mit viel Erfahrung. Das merkt man, es gibt keine Ecke Indiens, in der er noch nicht war. Wir haben es nicht geschafft, ihm eine Frage zu stellen, die er nicht mit viel Spaß und Hintergrundwissen beantworten konnte. So war die Tagestour von Delhi zum Taj Mahal kurzweilig und sehr informativ. Wir baten Virendra auch, alle Souvenirshops und dergleichen wegzulassen, da wir davon schon genug hatten. Daran hat er sich auch gehalten, was wir ihm hoch anrechnen. Aus der Fahrer war super und sehr professionell. Alles in allem unbedingt zu empfehlen! Pro Tip: macht nicht die Sonnenaufgang-Tour, vor allem nicht aus Delhi. Das machen alle, daher ist es da extrem voll. Und man muss nachts um 3 in Dehli los. Wir sind um 6 los, und als wir um 10 da waren, waren die Sonnenaufgangs-Touris alle schon wieder weg. Wir haben an keiner Stelle auch nur eine Minute warten müssen. Und das Licht war trotzdem toll ;-)Super!

I booked a 3 day tour with Virendra for my parents and this is their review after the perfect experience they had in Delhi/New-Delhi. Virendra has amazing knowledge about the history and mixture of religion in the city and can explain it really well in English AND French. He is very friendly and will adapt to your every wishes. On top of showing you the public transport in Delhi, Virendra also works with a very good driver for the sights that are a little further away. In general, Virendra makes the experience feel special and unique, and not like a tourist trap forcing you to spend money left and right. Overall, my parents can only recommend Virendra as a guide for Delhi/New-Delhi but also other cities in Northern India. Having only 2 days to spend in Delhi the choice of a guide is unquestionable and we were so lucky to secure Virendra (V) as our guide. We corresponded with him before our trip and he advised us on an itinerary which suited our interests and maximized our limited time. We had a fabulous tour with Alok Friendly and knowledgeable , he quickly guided us on foot from India gate to the metro ( we were impressed by the Metro system)to the bustle of Chandni Chowk , we are world travellers and are really interested in seeing the nuts and bolts of real life and this did not disappoint , we were given ample opportunities to engage with the locals , including our very friendly rickshaw driver , who navigated the narrow alleyways so deftly and guided us to a great tea shop , and of course the spice market , where we were able to take a birds eye view of the crowded streets below from the terrace above Thank you , Alok , for making our visit so memorable ! Honestly I had such a good day with Karni. I was traveling solo with only 9 hours in Delhi. Karni was really responsive and we planned an excellent day trip so I could experience a taste of India for the first time. We did a tour of New Delhi with Karni, which was excellent. Karni met us at our hotel and brought us to the area of the tour on the Delhi metro, which was a cool experience. We booked a 4-day trip with Karni to Agra, Jaipur and Delhi. He picked us up at the Tundla Railway station and from then on he looked after us like the closest people to him. He took care of our comfort, convenience and satisfaction. Karni is a very professional guide with a huge knowledge of architecture, history, religion and is able to convey this knowledge in a very interesting way. Open to questions on worldview topics. Very patient with our group, because we had a few wishes that went beyond the scope of sightseeing. We visited several places that were not tourist places, but more local ones. Karni took us to an elephant sanctuary, which was a magical place for us based on interaction with the animal. He showed us India as a country that actually looks different than it is shown in the world. Thanks to him I can confidently recommend India tours to my friends without worrying about their safety. We booked a tour around Old Delhi with Karni as we had one day in Delhi before a 15 day tour around Rajasthan. It was our first time in both Delhi and India, and despite being seasoned travellers, we wanted to explore with someone familiar with the area and customs. Karni was perfect. We met up and made our way together navigating the local metro system. While we loved the vibrancy of Old Delhi, the spice market and the people, the highlight was the Sikh Temple and Community Kitchen. We felt very safe and enjoyed learning about the history and customs as well as trying some local snacks. Karni was very careful about where and what food we should try, choosing vendors he trusted to have good hygiene. Karni is an exceptional tour guide and I can't thank him enough. After seeing Old Delhi with Karni we booked him for a full tour of New Delhi, Japiur and Agra. Travelig to India with parents over 60 is not an easy task, especially since they were not familiarised with the local cuisine and they don't speak English :) That's why I decided to work with Karni: to ease my life. He helped us book a mini bus, decided together upon itinerary and things to see and even having lunch and ordering non spicy food. Karni explained in great detail every monument, temple or attractions and he even took us to see some hidden gems that we could not find on our own. India is chaotic and having an experienced tour guide makes the experience from disastrous to wonderful. We do a lot of tours but this was one of my favorites! We had a fabulous tour, Karni was very knowledgeable and professional. He curated a tour that was not only interesting but unique and we saw areas of Delhi we could have never seen without him, such as, a beautiful old street tucked away down an alley and some fabulous markets. He understands how to be discreet yet helpful, for example when negotiating at the market and he helped me buy some spices. Having a tour with Karni is like having another friend in the tour with you. His deep knowledge on the Indian Culture, sites, history is just amazing. After contacted him he put a lot of effort in personalized a trip that suited my interests and my brother. Karni was always on top of our tastes and needs. His English is perfect and communication was indeed perfect. India is a beautiful country and has so many things to offer and discover, but I am sure the enjoyment of this country would not be the same with or without Karni. We were always asked by him if we wanted to do this or that, of course following his recommendations. Karni would never tight your tour black and white and he will always put you and your needs on first place, with flexibility, kindness and consideration. I am sure that any of my trips to India in the future will be with Karni and I hope he would be available and if he is not I would think twice in making my trip. I would like to visit and know more about India and visit more new places, but the main reason is that I know we have Karni as the option to do it. Anybody that wants to visit India for the first time or more, definitely should have Karni to do it. You would never regret it, is the opposite: you would love it.Simply the best !!

Karni was unfortunantely sick but he managed to send a guide friend oh his instead. We had a great tour around the old and new dehli ! We saw many different beautiful monuments, markets and museums. It was a great immersion into the life of the city. Even though I had limited time to experience the city, I feel like it definitely covered the essential elements to visit. Definitely recommend !Great experience !

As this was our first time in India, we decided to take a guide to show us around. Karni is very professional guide, he has lot of knowledge about history and cities (we were one day in Delhi and one day in Agra) and also shared other interesting facts about India. Unfortunately we did not have more days to explore India, but the memories and experiences we gained feel like we were there for so much longer. It was definitely thanks to a program Karni made for us and hidden places he took us to. Everything was very well organised and I can only recommend! We will definitely turn back :)Fantastic tour and guide!

We had the pleasure of having Karni take us on a tour of Delhi. We are a group of 3 adults (one 83 years old) from Australia. Wow, what a great day! Karni was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and considerate of my Mum who is on the older side. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the hidden sights away from the tourist areas. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Karni. I will start telling that our experience with karni was simply perfect. He is kind and reliable and the experience you will have with him will be far away from the normal half-scams tour you can book around. He walked us around old and new Delhi showing us stunning places that deserved to be visited. We visited an amazing Indu temple where we were allowed to try to make chapati earing togheter with the local people, we visited one of the bigger spice bazar in asia, and we had an awesome lassi and a chicken masala. He also showed us the main places of interest in New Delhi like the Red Fort, the mosque Jama Masjid the Lotus Temple, the Ghandi Smriti museum, and the Agrasen Ki Baoli. Our experience was really the best you can have, and I will remain in touch with him also for future tours around India. If you are thinking to book a guide he is the right person considering also that New Delhi is a chaotic and not simple city, and from my point of view almost impossible to visit alone if you are not local. Many guides are scammers that take you where they want and he is not in this way. He is an honest person that really care about what he is doing and offering.Karni is a perfect and reliable guide
