We had the most wonderful time in Napoli with Rita. From the time we booked, she contacted us and customized the tour for us and learned more about our family's needs. We have two young daughters and Rita anticipated their needs and made them feel very special. She even adapted on the go when the girls felt tired and allowed us to stop and look at things they were interested in. She showed us the most delicious gelato, spaghetti, puzza and café. My family and I had the pleasure of doing 2 tours with Rita. We were able to learn a lot about the history, customs, foods, superstitions as well as legends of Napoli. The dessert tour is a must for anyone who is interested in trying the flavors of Napoli. We requested she add a short hike up the hill to get a view of Vesuvius and Rita gladly accommodated us. Our 2 kids (ages 5 and 8) had an absolutely amazing time and enjoyed trying the treats along the way. The charming medieval villages tour is for those who want to explore a completely new side of this region. We visited two little towns and were not disappointed. We fell in love with everything Rita showed us and our 2 kids absolutely adored her! She explained things to them at a level that was easy to understand and fun to listen to. Yes we got 4 sweet pastries And that was it. We were moved from one bakery to the other. No explanations were made. When I asked questions I got very short answers. We learned nothing of Naples. Rita could not really give any account re the history of the pastries. We did not go to any playground. We did not do the play. Rita did not try to communicate with the kids. She even smoked near us as this was the right thing to do. After one hour and a half, she said that the tour was finished, just like that - although it is declared on the app that the tour takes 2 hours. If you dont want to spend good money for nothing, I do not recommend this tour in Naples at all Really really bad experience. No value to money

This was our first withlocals tour and it was fantastic. We chose a pizza and pastry kids tour with Rita. Our kids are 10,8,4, and 4, so pleasing everyone can be a challenge, but Rita was up for it! She made us feel at home in a rather busy city and took us off the beaten track to all the best pastry shops in the city. Her knowledge of history, architecture, language, and culture is extensive. We did not ask her a question that she didn’t know the answer to. The kids fell in love with Rita as she was able to be attentive and engage all ages, and still keep the tour on track. She went at our pace and was very patient and fun. We learned about so many Naples traditions and what it is like to be a local. Based on this experience we would recommend Naples and Rita to everyone! She truly has a God given gift of hospitality. She walked us back to our cruise ship and upon parting, it was like we were leaving an old friend who we wished was going to join us on all of our travels. Rita was amazing from the start. We were running a few minutes behind as we were coming in to Naples just prior to our tour. We booked a private culinary tour, Our guide Rita was very friendly and competent. But unfortunately the tour was not worth the money. We paid for two persons 150 EUR. The tour was announced to last 2 hours, but in fact it was 1.5 hrs. We tasted espresso, one small portion of candele alle genovese together, taralli and spritz for each of us. We have taken a tour with With Locals before so I knew this would be perfect introduction to Naples. And it was just that. Rita was such a wonderful person and guide. Rita was an excellent host, and so knowledgeable that she was easily able to tailor the tour to accommodate our dog. We saw exactly what we’d hoped for, the key sights of Napoli as well as some of the lessor known spots. Rita was totally brilliant. As well as being utterly adorable, she was so knowledgeable and passionate about her city. As well as the fascinating history and architecture of the incredible city of Napoli, she gave us ideas of how to spend the rest of our trip (we went to Sorrento). She also told us about some of the local food and while she was surprised at the area we were staying, we managed to find a local restaurant near our hotel that served the delicious genovese she had described 😊 Cannot recommend highly enough and a private tour, while a little more expensive, is definitely the way to go.Absolute best way to Naples.
