Cecilia was our guide for the 10 tastings of Seville tour. We could tell right away that we were in good hands, her friendliness and engaging personality made us comfortable and conversation easy. Cecilia was not only interested in telling us about the Triana neighborhood we were in but also wanted to hear about where we were from. The tour started with some history about Triana and Seville. Then we walked through the Triana market where a variety of fish, meats, vegetables and fruits are sold. From there we made our first stop where we tasted several dishes, potatoes with mayonnaise, aubergine with molasses and lentils with chickpeas. Next was an assortment of hams, sausage, and cheeses. From there we tried a pork sandwich and some squid. Last on the tour was dessert from a pastry shop. All of the places were small local merchants who were happy to host us. We would strongly recommend Cecilia for any tour because ours was wonderful.Triana tastings

A delightful experience. Elena superbly guided us through some wonderful iconic sights, & hidden gems. It was terrific to share stories of our respective countries. Elena showed genuine curiosity & interest in our country, as we did hearing & learning from her. Given the heat in Seville, it was a welcome respite to visit the Convent & have lovely home- baked biscuits by the Nuns & have coffee in the nearby bar. Elena was fantastic! She took us to several different stops with a variety of flavors and explained the historical and cultural context of each dish and paired it well with drinks appropriate for the taste and the locale. Each place was clearly the favorite of locals as opposed to a tourist spot. Elena not only had deep knowledge of the wine and drink selections but also explained the cultural nuances of our surroundings. She also explained a lot about Flamenco and its origins and histories as well as the Andalusian language living right in front of us! Very much worth the value! Cecilia is an excellent guide. She was very sensitive to our preferences and designed a tour that felt like it was just for us. Cecilia has a welcoming and calm personality, made an effort to get to know us personally, and was adept in answering all of our questions. She also knows her Spanish and Seville history. Cecilia gave us the kind of tour you hope for but almost never get. It was just me, my wife, and her — no crowds, no umbrellas to follow, just real conversation, some amazing food, and a walk through Seville with someone who actually lives it. We booked the tour during Feria, and instead of sprinting through monuments, we went for a more laid-back vibe: eat some good food, see the city, and get to know our guide a little. Cecilia nailed it. She's passionate, full of stories, thoughtful, and funny — the kind of person who drops knowledge mid-conversation without making it feel like a lecture. Also, she was genuinely surprised to learn we’re grandparents, which we’ll be riding high on for a while. Toward the end of the tour, we happened to walk through a quiet street just as the Feria fireworks finale kicked off. Cecilia led us to the bridge where everyone gathers to watch — an incredible, unexpected moment. Not saying she planned it… but she’s a musician, so we’re guessing her timing was no accident. Bottom line: book her. Unless you’re deeply opposed to great company and cool experiences.Great evening!

Elena provided us with a fantastic food tour experience in Triana. We tried lots of different foods and drinks, and were very full by the end of the tour. Elena also gave a lot of great historical background information on the food and neighborhood. Elena has training in gastronomy/wine, in addition to being born and raised in Seville, making her a fantastic tour guide. The one area for improvement would be around organization. Elena reached out to reschedule our tour the day before, which luckily we were able to accommodate. We loved Elena! She is so warm, professional and deeply knowledgeable about her home town. We had such an amazing time that we booked her again for the following day! Seamlessly integrating information about history, culture, and food, she deeply enriched our visit to Sevilla. We learned and experienced things that we would never have had access to otherwise — for example, a bar steeped in the history of flamenco as a form of artistic resistance that served an exclusive variety of orange wine and a fantastic dish of pork prepared in an Arabian style. Everywhere we went we were warmly welcomed because we were with her. We did not encounter tourists or other guides at any of our food stops. Elena was also very generous with recommendations and answers to our questions beyond the time that we spent with her. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Cecilia and this tour. It was not only a highlight of our trip, but I think a highlight of all of the travel we have ever done. Cecilia is a truly wonderful person and we want her to be part of our family! She is charming, fun, smart, patient, accommodating and an amazing person to know. The tour was fantastic and we ate incredible food (do not eat dinner beforehand because this is a full meal). We had a variety of food restrictions, and somehow she magically made everyone happy. And it wasn't just about food. She gave us a perspective on the culture and history that made us feel completely immersed in the experience. She also recommended and helped us book a fantastic flamenco show in an intimate setting -- perfect for our family. We were so sad when it ended and felt like we could turn around and do it all over again. Thank you so much Cecilia for being truly extraordinary. Absolutely loved touring Seville with Elena. We toured for 5hrs and could’ve stayed touring with Elena for longer. We had a group of varying ages and Elena was brilliant with all of us.
