Luis is friendly and very likeable. The route was interesting and his knowledge was good. We would, however, have liked a wider selection of foods, since this was a food tasting tour. Four of the tastings were chocolate; good quality, yes, but we would have enjoyed to taste more of Belgian foods. Good guiding, little tasting variety.

Food tours have become my favorite way to get to know a new city. Strolling through Antwerp with Jorge was just like meeting a friend eager to show off his hometown. We had a great few hours with Jorge. He was knowledgeable and thorough. I think the address we were provided with was incorrect so finding the meeting place was a challenge but we found him in the end. We really liked Jorge and the things he told us about Antwerp and the reason our score wasn't higher was due to the cost of the tour Vs the things we ate! Just below €200 seemed a expensive. The price could maybe be kept lower if relationships were developed with the sellers and shops. We loved the hersensaus, kalfsrol and bread! The pikant Anvers was delicious too. During the tour we passed a few things that Jorge told us we could revisit (a cool looking gin bar being one) and we would loved to have gone in and tried this. It might be a good idea to suggest people bring water with them as there was quite a large amount of time between the coffee and the beer and this was the time you would eating the most! Overall the experience was great and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Antwerp. Hersensaus & pikant Anvers!

If you like chocolate, you’ll love this tour with Luis. He took us to three places to showcase the different styles of some of the best chocolatiers of the city. We would have preferred the commentary to focus more on the art and history of Antwerp. Luis accommodated our need for a coffee stop and a sit down half way through and we were able to travel at an appropriate pace for our limited mobility. We found Luis strong Spanish accent hard to understand at times but as there were only two of us we were able to ask him to repeat words we had missed. Thank you Luis for sharing your City with us. Edna was personable, energetic and knowledgeable. We were traveling with our 2 year old daughter and Edna was patient, flexible and accommodating- she even pushed the stroller at points! I had 2 days to explore Antwerp for the first time by myself while my husband, worked. Edna did an incredible job explaining the history of Antwerp, showing me key landmarks, and helping me get a great feel for the city so I felt comfortable walking around in my own. We were looking for a guide in Antwerp, but there were none available at the time we wanted to start. We send a message to Edna and she replied immediately. She moved an appointment so she could do the tour for us in the morning. The service and communication were top! The tour itself was also just superb. She showed us everything we needed to see and asked for our special interests. She took us then to places suiting to our interests and other hidden gems. She did so much effort and she kept being friendly and everything. You can see she just loves to show people around in the city and show all her knowledge about everything in the city. We spent three hours with Luis and gained a fascinating insight into chocolate - its history, the best places to buy chocolate in Antwerp and the huge variety of flavours available. There were several tasting stops along the way, including one where we tried many different flavours including bacon and cannabis! The tour ended with a chocolate flavoured gin and chocolate snuff. Jorge is a true beer lover and fountain of information. This was our first "With Locals" experience and we were a little hesitant about the whole one on one with a person we'd never met, but Jorge made us feel like old friends from the first friendly hello at the train station in Antwerp, to the final drop of beer. We loved the choice of locations, and the selection of unique beers. Jorge was not only a gracious and friendly host, but very knowledgeable about the brewing industry and beer in general.
