Conor greeted us with a huge smile and a twinkle in his eye. With a special shot of whiskey, Conor introduced us to Belfast’s wonderful food and drink scene. His intuitive approach, entertaining and charming personality made the whole experience most enjoyable. Conor was a true Irish storyteller! We finished the tour better informed as he was definitely a brilliant ambassador for the City of Belfast.Loved it!
We only received 5 tastings vs. the 10 that were advertised. In addition, we only had one Irish food tasting. So it was disappointing. I have used With Locals in the past, so I was expecting more/ Food Tour
We really enjoyed our taste and walk with Conor yesterday. My 17 year old grandson said he had the best lemonade, the best crisps, the best hot chocolate EVER! Plus he had the biggest lunch! I also had the best fish chowder! He took us to lots of interesting places telling us history and stories all the way.
He was very helpful and understanding.
Thank you Conor! What a lovely man, Conor
Conor was an excellent, knowledgable and flexible host and the team thoroughly enjoyed the tourBrilliant host
Fun, funny, flexible, and informative. Conor brought the city - and its place in the world - to life! Great way to get both our bearings and insight. Thanks Conor! The authentic BOAT
Conor's cell broke and he didn't get notice of us booking the tour, and so wasn't at the meeting spot. Within 10 minutes I was able to contact the WithLocals staff, who connected with him and he arrived as soon as he could; within an hour of our original meeting time, and very eager to make it up to us. We got a good understanding of Belfast's past and present, and saw a great hidden garden of wall art. He was very flexible to make the tour relevant to us, as we don't drink and had a teen daughter with us.Accommodating even when thrown a curveball
We had only a short time in Belfast and so wanted to make sure we got the most from it. Booked a half day with Conor and it was a really wonderful experience. He is knowledgable and professional and highly qualified. But beyond that, he is a funny, kind and generous spirit. We are grateful he shared his Belfast with us, and highly recommend him. Our great morning with Conor ....
We had a great time with Conor.
It was all a bit last minute on our part, and we had a wheelchair, bags, a suitcase, but Conor tailored our tour to suit.
A great story teller, and full of information, Conor gave us the perfect start to our visit to Belfast.
Would highly recommend.
DaveGreat time with Conor
On our first day in Belfast we arranged for Conor to walk us around the city center. We really enjoyed meeting Conor who is a warm and fun person and an excellent storyteller.
He has much knowledge about local history and local beverages/food and besides showing us an excellent pub and restaurant we got to see what interested us around the city. On our request he walked us by many murals (both old and new ones). We really appreciated that Conor also made an efford to involve our teenagers like letting them try different potatoe crisps or candy. This is an excursion which is ideal as an afternoon activity. Thank you so much Conor.Belfast city centre walk
We Had a wonderful time with Connor. He is very down-to-earth and was extremely helpful and explaining the culture and the history of this very complicated and historical city. we also enjoyed learning some of the legends in the folklore. We are grateful for our day with Connor. Belfast would have not had the impression on us that it did without him.Excellent time with Connor
Absolutely amazing day with Conor & Finn. Especially loved the McConnell whiskey, so much so we had to stay and buy another! Would highly recommend to all. I am local to Belfast and learnt so much!Top Whiskey Experience
I went on this tour, taken by Conor..I am from Belfast, and he took a small number of us to places in the city I wasnt aware of.His depth of knowledge and engagement was formidable.he was fun, friendly, warm and obviously passionate about sharing the lesser known wonders of the city.We visited an Art workshop, a Military museum, a bespoke whiskey shop, and were taken inside one of Belfast's oldest churches, and more.Throughout, Conor was indefatigable, unfailingly good humored and confident in his knowledge. Our tour was very comprehensive, and, although we only covered a segment of the city centre, I felt what we did see was very rich and interesting. It certainly whetted my appetite for exploring other parts of the city with this company.I felt that It was almost robbery to pay him only 10 pounds per head for this, he is certainly underpaid for the knowledge and value he provided!I would have paid twice the amount and still felt happy, it was that good. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour, for locals and visitors alike.Brilliant
I went on Conor's whiskey tour and can fully recommend it. I'm a native of Belfast but I learned so much about my home city that I never knew. We visited some really good pubs too - Conor is a top bloke 😁😁Belfast whiskey tour
Absolutely Fabulous Tour!! Our Guide Connor was full of so much information and I loved sharing all of the little unknown things to my family that live in Belfast.!!
AB FAB TOUR OF BELFAST
What an amazing day! We toured with Connor and learnt so much about the city.
Connor showed us parts of Belfast’s history and culture that we would never have found on our own!
Highly recommend!
Belfast best tour guide!
Did a wonderful walking tour this past Saturday with Conor Owens, whose witty, intelligent, and thoughtful conversation brought small corners or Belfast to life. I learned a lot and had a great timing doing so. I'd highly recommend Hidden Tours (esp if you can go with Conor!), particularly if you only have a short time in Belfast a want to get a feel for the stories, history, and places that add up to make Belfast the intriguing city is it.Fabulous intro to Belfast
We thoroughly enjoyed our city centre walking tour last Friday. It was a great way to get up to speed with the city’s history, culture, art and a lot more. Our friendly guide was full of interesting anecdotes and took us through streets we would have otherwise completely missed.
He is clearly very well-liked and seems to know most people in Belfast. Absolutely loved our stops at the Irish whiskey shop, artists’ studio and meeting the artists themselves. Would recommend highly.Fantastic tour with Conor
Myself, wife, daughter and our Spanish friend took this tour with Conor. We cannot recommend him highly enough. He was knowledgeable, engaged, interested in our viewpoints and gave great value. Our walk up the Shankill Road and down the Falls Road was particularly memorable. We ourselves would not have ventured there unaccompanied yet there was nothing to fear. His insights into the troubles were enlightening and his conviction that tourism encourages inter-community harmony was heartfelt.Terrific time with Conor
We only live 20 miles from Belfast. But have always read great reviews about this hidden tour. So we stayed a couple of nights and booked ourselves in for one of these tours. It far exceeded our expectations. Conor is friendly, welcoming and so informative. He knows what he's talking about and is passionate about it. We learnt a lot, had a laugh and visited some very interesting places. Will definitely do another tour with this company and look forward to doing so.Hidden tours, knowledge and the craic
Conor can tailor a tour to meet the needs of individuals but I can see he would be terrific with a large group. Belfast is a real contrast with Dublin and it is full of surprises because it is not what you see on the news programmes. This tour is informative and a bit quirky. Easy on the feet and ear.Interesting and Surprising
