We had a terrific family walking food tour with Julieta. She was very knowledgeable about the city of Buenos Aires, its history, and its best food options. Our 13 & 11 year old boys loved all of the great food.Great family experience!

It was pouring rain for most of our tour but Aida was a great at pointing out the history amd we had great stops to try local food and drink
She checked in with us to see how we were doing with walking in the rain over the slippery streets and gave us her umbrella.
The city is full of culture and she highlighted all the background to us as well as describing the importance of food into the culture
Would definitely recommend spending a few hours of your vacation with her
Aida was a terrific guide!

Our tour guide was Veronica.
The first impression was not good when the tour guide Veronica arrived 30 mins late., she did try to contact us, but without internet or phone access this was no good.
The tour started with a walk around the historic building explaining the history of Buenos Aires. We saw the changing of the guard was good to see, but took up nearly an hour of the tour.
Then started the food tour, first visit was a fast-food shop that sold filled churros, another deep-fried pastry and cheese chipa balls. Rather than having one each these cut into two or four pieces just to have a taste, we had cheese chipa each, and a cup of coffee.
Next look at a sandwich shop that sold plain sandwiches, we did try any of these, then she showed us a posh coffee and cake café, but we did not have anything there, then more history and then to a pizza café, where we had empanadas and pizza, and a coke.
We then walked to an ice cream shop, which was closed, so no ice cream.
On all other food tours, we've also tried local alcoholic drinks. She appeared in a rush to get to another appointment. She spent a lot of time talking about herself, how good she was as a translator, historian and all her qualifications etc. Also wanted to know what days we were free to sell us more events, which was uncomfortable.
Not really what we were expecting when you think of the wide variety of food unique to Argentina.
So basically, it was a historic tour with some food, not the 10 Tastings of Buenos Aires. As described in the link below.
https://www.withlocals.com/experience/the-10-tastings-of-buenos-aires-1b165bc9/
We have done quite a few food tours of various cities across the world and this was the worst food tour we have ever had, will not be using with locals again.Tour was not as expected.

My wife and I took at 10 tasting tour with Julieta and it was a wonderful way to learn more about Buenos Aires, enjoy the food, and understand the culture of the people living there.
Julieta is a bundle of energy! From the first minute, you can feel the passion she has both for the food and the city she grew up in. She has also worked in other countries (Spain) and was able to contrast two similar yet different culture. From her introduction of Plaza De Mayo to her narrative about each of the eateries we went to, she was able to immerse us into the city.
The tour includes the greatest hits in the city center along with all the street food you must try while in BA. We stopped at several eateries that were "must stops" in many guides. This includes La Americana (empanadas), Guerrin (pizza), and Cadore (gelato). At each stop, Julieta made sure that we know the food, why this eatery was chosen, and how to eat it. At a couple of stops, we got beer or wine. This helps with the hot summer day that we were there.
I would definitely recommend Julieta as a guide for this tour. There is plenty of food. My wife and I had to asked for half portions at the end of the tour (except for the Gelato). Even if you are not full with the food, you would be full of the same passion Julieta has for her city.

Julieta was great. From communication before we met all the way through our time together…. An interesting and fun time.
I would like to have a list of what we ate, so I can ask for some of the items as my trip continues.
I found the website tricky to use but that is no reflection on Julieta. great intro to food in Buenos Aires

Our tour with Julieta exceeded expectations. We easily connected with her in the middle of Plaza de Mayo and started our tour from there. The pacing was perfect as we chose to generally share tastes to preserve room in our stomach. Through food and our walk, we learned about Argentinian history and how immigration influenced what is known as Argentinian food.
Julieta is delightful and her English is excellent. She had so much information to share and it was so easy to understand her. More than just a food tour

The 10 Tastings of Buenos Aires walking tour with Ines was fantastic. Besides the fact that Ines is a complete delight to be with, she was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. She started with some mate and two different types of bakery treats, next was a very cool sandwich shop with entertaining service, continuing on with a modern fancy bakery stop, BA's arguably best pizza and empanadas, chorizo sausage sandwich and then ice cream. Be prepared to be hungry before you start, as there was a lot of food. We tasted some and took the rest back to the hotel with us. All in all, this tour with Ines was an 11/10! Highly recommended. We spend an afternoon and early evening with Ines exploring the food scene of Buenos Aries. We had asked her to stay away from the touristy area and show us where the local eat. And that was exactly what she did. We had so much fun exploring BA's culinary gems.
Ines was so friendly that we thought we are being hosted by a close family member. It was hard to part with her at end. We strongly recommend her if you are visiting Buenos Aries.Expert and friendly tour guide for BA

Wow, what an unforgettable experience! This food tour in Buenos Aires was nothing short of spectacular, and it was all thanks to our fantastic guide, Ines. From start to finish, Ines went above and beyond to make our culinary adventure not just delicious but also incredibly enjoyable.
First, let me say how friendly and welcoming she was. Ines has a warm, bubbly personality that made us feel instantly at ease. Her English was flawless, which was a huge bonus for my wife and I, as she effortlessly shared fascinating insights about the city, its culture, and, of course, its mouthwatering cuisine.
The food itself? Simply divine! We started with a classic milanesa sandwich that was perfectly crispy and satisfying. Then came the choripán (chorizo sandwich), which was an explosion of smoky, savory goodness. The fugazza pizza—oh, the layers of flavor! It was a cheesy, oniony masterpiece that I’ll be dreaming about for weeks.
But wait, there’s more! The empanadas were flaky and stuffed with delicious fillings that transported us straight to the heart of Argentine comfort food. At a charming, traditional café, we savored baked goods that paired beautifully with a coffee, giving us a true taste of Buenos Aires’ café culture. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we ended with creamy, velvety ice cream that was the perfect sweet finale.
What made it all even better was how Ines weaved stories and context into every stop. She brought the city’s culinary history to life and made us feel like locals for a day.
If you’re in Buenos Aires, this food tour is an absolute must, and having Ines as your guide makes it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you, Ines, for such an incredible day—we’ll be recommending this tour to everyone we know!

Rosana’s tour is the perfect blend of history and food, which is ideal for those visiting BA for the first time. We first visited the Pink House, followed by the most famous Catholic Church in the country. We then feasted on migas sandwiches, empanadas, pizza served Argentinian style w a layer of chick peas, an authentic asado chorizo and finally, a dulce de leche ice cream. All delicious and a great way to experience the beautiful city of Buenos Aires.Exceptional food guide & tour

It's rare you meet a tour guide who not only knows a lot about a city and where to eat, but is also so open and honest about real life in that city. Rosana made us feel so at home in Buenos Aires! She took us to several local eateries and talked to us about the history and culture of Buenos Aires and also about the political landscape and the people. It was so great to hear her perspective of life in Buenos Aires - about her family and about the different areas of the city. The food was delicious as well!
