Our family of four had a wonderful time with Loan eating and learning about the street food culture of Hanoi. We loved eating at small market stalls knowing the food was familiar to Loan and the quality and food safety would be high. The selections were delicious, particularly the pho which we loved. Ruby was engaging, speaks good English and knows her stuff well. I would highly recommend this tour With Locals (more than Viator or Get your Guide) and make sure to get Ruby. Ruby has introduced us to really good food in Hanoi and some of it are Michelin. Because of this, our standard for other food tours have increased too! :-) We love Hanoi food because of this tour! :-) My only recommendation is to include Pancakes in the tour as this is something unusual for tourists where you get to wrap the pancake in a rice noodle!Best food tour ever!

My friend and I had a wonderful and delicious food tour with Lien. Lien was very communicative and planned the perfect menu for our tour. Lien asked if we had food preferences and what we had eaten already to customize the tour. Since this was our first day in Hanoi, we wanted to try all of the classic dishes. The food we had was all around delicious and multiple places we returned to throughout our stay in Hanoi due to how yummy they were. It felt like we were going around the city with a friend. One of the absolute highlights of our time in Hanoi was our street food tour with Lien. She took us to incredible local spots where we indulged in everything from Nộm Bò Khô (Hanoi’s delicious brisket and green papaya salad) to Bánh Mì, Vietnam’s iconic crispy baguette sandwich filled with savory meats, fresh herbs, and pickled vegetables, and Hanoi-style BBQ with flavorful grilled skewers (Nem Nướng). I highly recommend booking this as one of the first things you do when you get into Hanoi.. it'll make dinning out for the rest of your trip stress free and so much more fun! This is a little more money than some of the tours on TripAdvisor and Airbnb.. but the experience is well worth it. Ruby is an absolute gem and a wealth of knowledge of food and just Hanoi in general. My partner and I had the best time with her trying so many delicious dishes and checking out the local hot spots.This is worth every penny!

Loan, our local guide, is super nice and accommodating. She is very familiar with the Hanoi neighborhood and took us to sample scrumptious and unique cuisines. We enjoyed fresh green papaya salad, deep fried fermented pork rolls, banh mi with fresh vegetables and BBQ pork from the grill. We then had an ice cold local beer to clear our palates before fragrant beef broth pho. It has been a wonderful experience to navigate the Old Quarter to work off some of the extra calories. We ended our tour watching the train pass through as we sipped rice wine at Train Street. Perfect day!Best food tasting ever at Hanoi!

We had a lot of fun during our tour with Lien. She contacted us a few days before we actually met and changed the tour a bit to match our requirements. The chosen locations and dishes exactly matched, what we had expected from a street food tour. The dishes were very tasty and for sure we did not return hungry to our hotel. As well her recommendation for an egg-coffee cafe, which she had left out intentionally because of the time of the day, turned out to be a perfect choice. Vielen Dank Lien für diese super Tour. Wir sind beide mehr als begeistert, Lien hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen, alles toll erklärt und viele Tipps gegeben. Die kleinen Restaurants und Straßenstände hätten wir sonst nie getestet. Es gibt 10 Speisen und man sollte auf jeden Fall einen großen Hunger mitbringen. Der Preis für die Tour ist mehr als gerechtfertigt!!! Ein toller Abschluss war ein Kaffeeshop in einer alten Villa welcher uns am Tisch genau zeigte wie ein Egg-Coffee zubereitet wird und die Entstehung wurde auch erklärt. Wir hatten einen großartigen Tag mit Lien, sie liebt was sie tut. Unbedingte Empfehlung!
