My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a Lisbon Food Tour with Ana Paula and had a great time and great conversation. She was able to customize our visits to exclude a few things we already tried and also give us a taste of better versions of some things we had tried earlier in the week as well. We had some wonderful hams and cheeses, pastries, amazing octopus salad, even more bachalau and, my favorite, the bifana. We were a group of 6 on a tour with the charming Angelo. He was so nice and full of knowledge and went above and beyond to make the whole experience top class. We had an amazing Food tour in Lisbon where we tasted very very authentic local foods that we would never have been able to find or have ever tried on our own. Sylvain provided an exceptional tour focusing on the history of Portugal and the history of the neighborhoods and traditional food. Our private tour allowed personal interactions with the vendors and was something tourists would not normally see. He also provided a number of additional sites we could visit that were very worthwhile. A great tour, one of the best ways to experience Lisbon is through food, then add in Sonia's history knowledge and her experience being a local and you have a great tour. We visited local hangouts whilst wandering the streets. The tour starts with a great view out over the city and that is the highest point of the whole tour, making walking a lot easier than some tours which have significant amounts of stairs. Due to a number parades that were on in Lisbon on the day of the tour part of our group were caught in traffic and were not able to get to the starting point. Sonia gave them directions on where they should be able to get to on foot, which was a bit of challenge, hence the patient legend. I would recommend this tour, and especially Sonia, you definitely need to taste the Pasteis de nata from the place you stop at, they are definitely better than the usual ones in Lisbon.Sonia the patient legend

We had a wonderful time on our food tour with Angelo! We booked a last minute tour with little preparation and Angelo was able to accommodate us. He is thorough and detailed and brought us to some really delicious eateries. We did not leave this tour hungry! Andre has a fantastic tour guide. Andre messaged in advance to find out dietary requirements and accommodated two non-fish eaters (no easy feat in Lisbon). We visited some hidden gems and tried an excellent selection of food and drink. In addition to the food/drink choices, Andre was extremely knowledgeable, personable and really interesting. Antonio was a wonderful tour guide for our food tour! He was pleasant and easy to chat with, while providing a nice selection of foods at 4 different locations. Being with him in the restaurants was like being with a friend — he answered our questions, provided information about each dish, and even went out of his way to order an extra small taste of an item that we were curious about. It was nice to be treated like a local at the restaurants because we were with him, especially at one of the restaurants where the staff came over and welcomed us as if we were old friends.
