Francesca is knowledgeable about Milan's history and its impact on language, cuisine, and culture. We toured in the Brera area and had several staples that all hit the spot: focaccia pizza, charcuterie and wine, cappuccino and hot chocolate, gelato, cannoli, and cannoncini. We have been to Milan quite a few times, but always explored the city on our own. Having a special occasion during the last trip to Italy, we decided to try something different, though. Our experience was great. Salvatore took us to spots we wouldn’t have seen on our own. We also rode the train and saw the canal while he patiently explains recent changes all while experiencing great Tuscany food. He was both patient and knowledgeable. Exceeds Expectations . Francesca was absolutely wonderful! We felt like we were touring with an old friend. Salvatore did not take me on a 10 tastings of Milan tour. He admitted that he does not usually do food tours. I didn’t even have 1 taste of Milan. He took me to a chain prosciutto place from Tuscany and and a cheap connolli place that was next door. That’s it. Do not use Salvatore for any tours. He’s a terrible guide. Bait and switch.

Caterina is a pro. We showed up with 2 exhausted and jet lagged teens. She is fun, engaging and laid back and all of us (teens included) had a wonderful time. We ate great food. We learned about fashion week and some insider tips for shopping. We became experts at finding the best gelato and we left with recommendations on where we should eat the next day. Pretty much a perfect afternoon! A perfect aftenoon!

We were underwhelmed with this experience. We did get caught in a rain storm so that did make things a bit more challenging but the evening plan was weak. We had one nice charcuterie platter at the first stop but were rushed out of there so we could get to the next stop before the rain. The other stops were small tastings of very little substance. The tour was supposed to be three hours but turned out to be two. Overall this was not an experience that we expected. Dissappointing

A group of six of us booked a food tour with Caterina. We would highly recommend doing this tour with her! I’ve done a number of private tours as I’ve traveled throughout Europe. This tour was top tier due to Caterina’s engaging personality. She did an excellent job of picking great dishes for us to try and explaining why she chose them. We enjoyed all of the food and the establishments we visited. I liked serena as a person she was nice to talk to.Unfortunately,the price didn’t meet the expectations! 1-I thought I would eat as a local.Instead we went to berera district which is well known even for tourist that you’ll find a good meal there. 2-two of the food choices I already tried it before the experience! Either I am very good at food planning for my trip or there was no efforts put into the food choices in this experience 3-portions were insanely small,I had one cup of gelato and a bread stick to share with my colleague !
