We were in Naples for only one day and wanted to get a feel for the city and experience the great food available. Roberto’s food tour was the perfect way to sample the wide range of street food available. Over 3 hours Roberto guided us through the streets sharing his local knowledge of the history and food of Naples. Stopping and many of the vendors to taste their incredible food. Roberto’s friendly and relaxed approach made this tour a real highlight. I would certainly recommend and I’m sure we will repeat the tour next time we are in Naples. We were only in Napoli for one night and this was a fantastic way to see some interesting sights, learn about the history of the city and sample some amazing food and drink in 3hrs. Roberto is so knowledgeable and is clearly a local celebrity. We tried authentic pizza, fried fish, ragu, buffalo mozzarella, rum baba and more. Anything we couldn’t finish was donated to local homeless people which was a very kind gesture. A truly lovely evening- thank you Roberto An amazing way to see the best of Napoli!

Our family of 3 did the 10-Tasting of Naples tour. He contacted us once the booking was confirmed to ask if we had any questions or needed anything before the tour. We did a 3 hr food tour with Roberto “ The Pizza Lover” - we had a group of 6 and Roberto aced it. He knows his stuff and has great contacts throughout the city. He has a very casual style and made the tour easy going. Roberto wasn’t a clock watcher - he enjoyed engaging in dialogue along the way sharing his experiences and leaning from us. I think he took almost 4 hrs with us. If you are looking for a great experience then Roberto is the guide you want. Roberto Aces it!!!

What a fantastic tour. Gennaro is warm, genuine, knowledgeable, funny and engaging. He loves sharing his hometown of Napoli, not as a tour, but rather an experience. I felt like walking through a new town with a dear friend, whom we knew only for a few hours. The 3-hour tour flew by as we sampled some of Napoli’s famous foods… mozzarella, cuoppo, taralli, pasta, sfogliatelle, limoncello, espresso and, of course, pizza. Tge food on its own was spectacular, but Gennaro made this a truly special experience. One I will remember for and Cheri’s for the rest of my life. Thank you Gennaro. Roberto - met our party of 6 on time & led us through the streets of Naples describing the local culture & explaining the the food origins. We had more than enough food from the deep fried fish to an espresso with desert & lemon cello. Where do I start? Nino was an amazing tour guide. We picked him because in his bio he said he was a foodie and boy did he deliver. Naples was a busy city with tons of places to eat. Nino took us to all the small places we would have never stopped in. We ate the best “Real” Italian mozzarella of our lives. Not sure I will ever see mozzarella the same again after eating such an amazing cheese. There is so much more I could say but this review would be pages long. We’ve been to a lot of food tours over several different countries. Naples had the best food we’ve ever had hands down. Book Nino you will not be disappointed. The best food tour we’ve had

We wanted to do a private food tour in Naples and after reading reviews online we went with Gennaro for the 10 Tastings and we were not disappointed! He is knowledgeable with the history of Naples and its authentic foods. He is very patient and very considerate to one of our friends was having some knee issues. Gennaro arranged for Manuela to be our guide as he was unwell. Our tour was fantastic with lots of opportunities to taste delicious local specialties. Manuela was lovely and gave us lots of interesting historical information as well as taking us into a couple of beautiful churches along the way. Make sure you are hungry before the tour. We loved our time with Gennaro - he is such a warm person with a huge amount of knowledge of not only food in Naples but also its history and culture. We had our 9 year old son on the tour and Gennaro kept him completely engaged (which is a hard thing to do), without ever talking down to him. The food was great and portions were so generous that we couldn’t eat for the rest of the day. We would highly recommend Gennaro’s tours to others. One of our favourite days in Italy

This is an excellent tour to take while visiting Naples. Donatello is excellent and also gave us some good highlights of key buildings and history while we ate our way down the streets of Naples. The food choices are ideal for walking and talking and we certainly couldn’t eat it all. Plan to go back to some spots for the things we couldn’t devour since we were full. Best time was 12:30 to start the tour. Later would likely be busier and that gave us time to rest and go back out later. Thanks again!! Explore the best street food of Naples!

Our afternoon with Gennaro was exceptional! First, we were so thankful that he thought to contact us a few days before the tour to see if we had flexibility in our schedule. Given that we booked in the off season and on a Sunday, certain things may have been closed later in the day and he suggested, if possible to meet earlier. A very thoughtful gesture. Gennaro was easy to communicate with and quick to get back to us. He was passionate and knowledgeable about the neighbourhoods we walked through, the history of Naples and, of course, the food! Fabiana gave us an excellent food tour in the city of Naples! She was very knowledgeable and related well to our family. The food we tried covered a wide variety from a fish, market and fresh fruit and vegetable market to cheese, two pizza and pasta and more! My husband and I book a food tour whenever we visit a new city. Our tour in Naples with Frederica, was a small group with just the three of us which was wonderful. Frederica took into consideration that my husband is a vegetarian and provided options for him. We were taken off the beaten path to areas where locals shop and eat. We tasted food that were specific to the area and while walking between food destinations learned some history of Naples. We have had the best tour around the backstreets and bars and eateries of old town Naples and I can seriously say I could not eat another thing after the tour! We had so much great food and our guide was fantastic in telling us all the history about Naples and the food and also answering any questions we had.
