Sylvia was a please to spend our morning with on our food tour in Salzburg. She was warm, knowledgable, and flexible when we needed to make changes to our planned route due to having our 3 year old with us. She was wonderful with our daughter, which helped make the tour a success. Thank you Sylvia for a wonderful tour and introduction to Salzburg!Food Tour w/ Friendly & Knowledgable Local
Our family really enjoyed our tour with Roman. Going at Christmas time we were definitely dealing with large crowds but he still managed to provide us with a unique experience. He also took us to some areas more off the beaten path. He had lots of interesting information about beautiful Salzburg and its history. It was a very fun night.Wonderful food tour
Great time exploring food and history in Salzburg with Sylvia!Great time!
Sylvie was a great guide: very warm and easy to talk with. She tailored our experiences to our tastes, and was ready to stop for anything in which we showed interest. We definitely saw places we’d never have seen on our own. The tour ended at the amazing, cool (literally) and tree-shaded Augustiner Bräu - Kloster Mülln. So good!
What was best was spending time with such a nice human being! As I said it the end: it felt like we’d made a new friend! Highly recommended! Easy pace, great information, and a great time!A Wonderful Experience of Salzburg!
We had Francisca NOT Sabine for this tour.. which I wouldn’t say is a food tour at all. It started at 5pm and we only went to ONE restaurant at 7:15pm. We got a piece of bread and one piece of chocolate from 5-7:15pm. Decent historical tour, but again, was expecting a food tour like the description had said. Not worth the $160 per person that we paid at all. We could have gone to the one restaurant on our own and saved so much money. Would not recommend at all if you’re looking for a food tour. NOT A FOOD TOUR
Unfortunately Sabine couldn’t make it but she arranged for Sissy to take her place. We had 2 adults and 4 children between 16-20yo and Sissy tailored the tour for our group very well. She provided great insight into the history of Salzburg and some of its key citizens in a way that was informative and engaging to all. I would thoroughly recommend this tour with Sissy.A great tour with excellent content
We had four guides on this trip and Roman was the best. BY FAR.
So fun. So informative.
We were mostly focused on "The Sound of Music" - which was great! - but Roman also managed to give us all the history on Salzburg as well.
I wish we had booked him for the entire day.THE ABSOLUTE BEST
Sabine provided a warm welcome to Salzburg! She provided an overview of the city history and pointed out the highlights to visit as well as recommendations for museums to tour. Friendly and knowledgeable!Perfect start to visit Salzburg!
Roman was pleasant but unfortunately, he is very soft spoken and difficult to hear esp with surrounding traffic and noise around the city. He spent too much time on his phone checking it and what seemed like texting. It seemed as though he had someplace else he wanted to be. His information was interesting when you could hear it. Salzburg history tour
We spent several hours with Sabine soaking in the history and beauty of Salzburg. She was an interesting, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic guide who clearly loves her city and the opportunity to share it with newcomers. We spent several hours with Sabine and the time flew by. She also left us with some excellent tips on where to get the best food and drink in the city.
Highly recommend!! Love Salzburg
The start to our tour was rough because we were assigned two male tour directors, first Didi, then Roman. Roman sent a message through Withlocals, but we were out and about and didn’t get it so we didn’t know that we had been passed on to a third to a third tour guide. So we got to the meet up site looking for a male guide and couldn’t find him in a cold, driving, rain.
Finally, 20 minutes after our original meeting time we met with Inez And what a wonderful person and guide she is. She immediately assessed how cold we were and took us to a local coffee shop for hot chocolate and a nice chat. It was just what we needed!
Inez’s Knowledge, passion, and love for Salzburg came through in beautiful ways. She showed us her beautiful city and taught us so much about its history. We feel that through the experience we made a new friend. The only thing that would’ve made it better was no rain!
Inez is the best!
Sabine knows the city well, from history, to restaurants, to fun facts etc. We really enjoyed our time with Sabine and would recommend her to others.Chicago Family of 5
My husband and I had the pleasure of spending 3+ hours touring all over Salzburg with Sabine. She shared loads of information about Salzburg’s history as well as pointing out the Sound of Music locations, recommending restaurants and bars and places we should see in our remaining time in Salzburg. Sabine is warm and friendly, knowledgeable about all things Salzburg and she showed us sights that we would never have found on our own!! I highly recommend Sabine!
Fabulous Tour with Sabine!!
Great Knowledge and Service from Sabine Excelente
This was our first time to Salzburg and Didi did an excellent job of taking us around to the most important sites. He is extremely friendly, personable and knowledgeable about the city. Both educational and fun!Excellwnt tour with Didi
Our family agreed, when we left Sabine we were saddened. Sabine provided us the finest example of an outstanding tour, ever!
Her historical knowledge blended with modern observations made for thorough learning and enjoyment.
I would recommend Sabine and withlocals, without hesitation and with with guidance that this is the only way to tour.
Thank you and we hope to see you again, Sabine!Awesome Tour!
