Dubravka was an excellent guide—knowledgeable and fun to be with! She led our small group through the historical Diocletian Palace. We ate local fare from cafes dating back to Year 400. We may not have seen how alive the Palace becomes at night had we not toured with Dubravka. Food, drink, and candies were excellent at 5 various spots inside and outside the Palace. This was much more than a food tour! Right from the start Dubravka shared really interesting information about the history of Split as well as modern day life. We loved all of her stories and had a great time exploring the Old Town. The food itself was all delicious and there was plenty of it! We tasted such a good variety of things and from amazing local spots that we probably wouldn't have found on our own. To top it all off, the recommendations for the rest of our trip were really thoughtful and helpful. Can't recommend this tour with Dubravka highly enough! Wonderful, informative and delicious!

De tour hadden we veel meer van verwacht. Voor het grote bedrag wat we hebben betaald waren we niet 3 uur maar 2 uur bezig. Hij was veel sneller klaar. Daarnaast was het niet 10 verschillende hapjes en of drankjes die we hebben gehad, maar minder. En maar 1 drankje en voor de rest wat hapjes, waarvan er ook een stukje chocola bij zat. Wij hadden hele andere verwachtingen bij dit bedrag. Darko kan leuk vertellen dat wel, maar wij hadden het gevoel dat er meer inzat voor zo’n groot bedrag en dat nu niet is geleverd. we just loved our tour with Duba and the sights, sounds, and tastes of Split. Having a knowledgeable and personable guide made the day less like a tour and more like a “conversation “ with a new friend - one that knew all the best spots to go for local food! We enjoyed all the food we had, were full when we left, and had more snacks and desserts we left with. She even gave us recommendations for our next port stop of Dubrovnik! Four of us, two seniors and a young couple, spent two weeks in Croatia. This food tour was one of the highlights. But the tour was so much more than just about food. Dubravka had such knowledge of Split and Croatia in general. She entertained us with facts about ancient Split as well as the new Croatia and their increasing tourism and everything in between. And all of this was while we walked, sat, and enjoyed the fantastic food! The food and places were definitely not something we would have researched and found on our own. Most were small authentic Croatian establishments that locals would seek out. You can’t go wrong with Dubravka as your guide! This tour was a great way to become familiar with the city! Lots of delicious food. So much so that we were full by the end of the tour. Our guide, Darko, was excellent. Darko was passionate about his city, and was very knowledgeable about its history. On the day our tour was scheduled there was heavy rain, so Darko offered to change the tour to the next day when the sun was shining. Overall, great tour and great guide!Great tour of Split!

We’ve been on many food tours in many cities and this was one of the best. We really enjoyed it. Dubravka is a great tour guide. It is a great tour if you want to see the old town, learn a little bit of history, meander through the streets and eat lots of Croatian food. Dubravka was a wonderful tour guide, every single stop was great! She mixed in the history of Split, so this was much more than just a food tour. I highly recommend taking her tour on your first day in Split so you can return to the good restaurants throughout your stay. Dubé is a wonderful tour guide with a real penchant and joie de vivre. A history major, she went above and beyond to regale the history of split and Croatia, showed us around the historical sights of split whilst indulging in local food. The cevape was a particular highlight. A must if you want to combine culture, food and drink.Epic tour

We had an excellent evening wandering round Split trying different foods in different places. Dubravka did a brilliant job of taking us to places that we wouldn’t necessarily have found on our and accommodating our dietary requirements (one vegetarian, one no seafood/fish). It was great to be able some of the local dishes. The only small downside is that restaurants in Split don’t seem to have fully embraced the concept of food tours yet. Dubravka was an excellent guide full of interesting facts and lots of knowledge about Split and the surrounding area. A fun evening eating in Split

This was an amazing tour. We have made it a point to try local food everywhere we travel, and there weren't many tour options in Split. Darko was informative, he had vast knowledge of the history, and obviously loves Split. He kept us interested, and engaged the entire time. We organized this last minute and Dubravka was very flexible with us. We had such a great time eating, drinking and shopping all over Split. In the bonus was the history lesson of the city from someone who grew up visiting family in the palace. She was so fun and had a great stories. Darko was an amazing tour guide! My friends and I booked the tasting tour with him and learned so much while experiencing the authentic and delicious food of Croatia. Darko's wealth of knowledge pertaining to Split was expansive, but never boring, which is how I prefer my tours to be. By the end of the tour, it felt like Darko was a close friend leading us around his hometown - fun, friendly and filled with hilarious banter. We expected a lovely tour. We got a very tasty tour and an amazing day of classics banter and personal insight. We felt like we were hanging out with our very best knowledgeable friend. When Darko heard that my daughter was getting her masters in classics, he changed the whole focus of the tour to feed her love of all things classical. I honestly do not know where to begin. The tour itself was excellent. I think it focus beyond the tourist gaze & truly took us to behind the curtain to where locals go with the added benefit of understanding the history as to why. But the true gem of this tour was Dubravka. Her tremendous knowledge of history combined with her lived experiences elevated it from a traditional tour to an excellent experience. She is a highly sought after guide and I completely understand why. We had a fantastic tour with Débora! She was super friendly and guided us expertly through the beautiful city of Split. Went for a two hour tour, as our time was limited, and learn alot about Split and its rich history. Maja was very professional, skilled and had alot of interesting knowledge to share. Dubravka begann die Tour an einem Aussichtspunkt, von der wir einen guten Überblick die Stadt hatten und gab bei dieser Gelegenheit auch eine Übersicht über die Entwicklung der Stadt und das Umland. Anschließend gingen wir zu einem gut geplanten Rundgang durch die Stadt. Dubravka hatte an jedem Ort aus ihrem großen Wissensschatz zu den Hintergründen und Geschichte erzählt. Dabei langweilte sie nicht mit Fakten, sondern legte den Schwerpunkt auf geschichtliche Zusammenhänge und Hintergründe für die Entwicklung der Stadt. Der Rundgang endete mit einer Verkostung einer lokalen Süßigkeit und einen gemütlichen Plausch in einem Kaffee. Da wir außerhalb der Saison unterwegs waren hatten wir genug Zeit an den einzelnen Lokationen. Dubravka ist eine charmante Führerin, die Geschichte Splits und Dalmatiens lebendig vermittelt.Kurzweilige und interessante Stadtführung

Darko gave us a wonderful tour of the caves, which is highly recommended and not accessible by the bus tours. We almost had the caves to ourselves and it was breathtaking and so serene.
