Our tour with Sayuri was awesome! We explored a quiet neighborhood we otherwise wouldn't have stumbled uppon ourselves. Each dish we tried was different and we got to experience popular food stalls frequented by locals. We cannot recommend this tour and Sayuri enough! We had a fantastic tour with Seden. She showed us around a part of Tokyo we wouldn’t have normally visited as tourists, including a beautiful local park. But the highlight was the food. She took us to a range of street stalls and neighbourhood restaurants and helped us understand the different flavours and styles - which helped us make more of the rest of our time in Japan. Our only problem was that the food was so delicious it was hard to save space for all the different tastings - you will definitely not go hungry on this tour. Seden was also full on information and insight from her time in Japan - highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time with Sena! She speaks English very well and did a great job answering our questions and explaining the food and culture of Japan. We took the tour before heading to the airport and had all of our luggage with us. Sena helped us find nearby storage for our luggage as well as navigate the trading routes back to the airport after the tour. None of that was part of the tour but Sena was so kind and helpful. The food tour itself was awesome. Pace yourself! There are so many foods to try! Sena did a great job of introducing us to a wide range of interesting and delicious foods. Sayuri was wonderful. She was kind and really considered our wants and desires in regard to food. There were actually 10 tastings and all were delicious. However, I was hoping for a bit more knowledge about the history and the cultural aspects of the food we were eating. Ai is a fantastic guide and the area where we ate was not at all touristed- a very popular area but rarely did we see caucasions and the food was AMAZING! An unexpected spring snow storm slowed the subways but not our fantastic tour of some fine street food. Good natured and knowledgeable, Ai took us for some real treats with the katsu wagyu beef ball being a melt in your mouth highlight. AI’s tour is varied yet efficient, allowing us to cover all sorts of cuisine in three hours. We would highly recommend her tour as a quick, fun, and easy way to experience Tokyo street food and Japanese culture in the process. Neither sleet nor snow could stop our tour

Seden, truly made my family’s food tour memorable. She speaks perfect English and is fluent in both Japanese and the culture. She took the four of us on a food tour of what the locals like to eat versus the more common tourist traps. She also led us through a beautiful night stroll through a park. The walk was needed because to digest between all of the meals. Trust me, you need a huge appetite to finish off all the food. We didn’t even come close! My wife and I did the street tasting tour and had a great time. Not only did we get to sample several local treats, but Sena also immersed us in local culture. It was fascinating and fun! Our "10 Tastings of Tokyo" with Sena was all we had hoped for… and more! We couldn’t have been more pleased. With her excellent knowledge and experience in the area, we tasted wonderful and varied foods of Tokyo, from savory to sweet. We even visited a conveyor-belt-style sushi restaurant—high on our list of "must try’s!" Sena speaks very good English and is a delight! We learned a lot about Japanese culture and she even helped us download a SUICA card which has enabled us to easily use the subway, taxis and vending machines and to pay for many other purchases. I did a three hour food tour with Carlos and it was great. Carlos is easy to get along with and a great guide. He speaks English, Spanish and Japanese. We sampled a variety of food from different shops. Most had lines which told me that the locals like the food. He runs the tour a little outside of Shibuya where the shop owners are more friendly. I paced myself and only ate about 75% of everything. Glad I did because there is a lot of food. If your a foodie, you’ll love this tour. Great food tour

We took a walking street food tour with Sena in October. She was waiting for us when we arrived at the designated meeting spot in the Kichijoji district of Tokyo. She took us to many local food stalls as well as to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Not only did Sena take us to the food stalls where she thought the food was the freshest and the best, but she helped us buy gift snacks at a Don Quijote convenience store, and even helped us navigate the Subway kiosk so we could purchase Suica cards. Our street food tour with Sena was wonderful. She chose the are around Kichijoji Station. The alleyways ( many of them covered) were never crowded and oozed the Japan our history books referred to.
