This "10 Tastings of Warsaw" tour was excellent. Our guide, Malina, was fantastic! She was incredibly knowledgeable about both the city's rich history and the food and drink. We had both food and drink we wouldn't normally have experienced, and learnt about details of the history of Warsaw from a very knowledgeable local. At each stop, Malina introduced us to a number of Polish dish's and drinks, with everything being very tasty. Malina made the whole experience feel personal and engaging. She was friendly, answered all our questions with enthusiasm, and even shared recommendations for other things to see and do in Warsaw. She took us places we never would have found and introduced us to some tasty local favorites along with the staples, like the best perogies we've ever tasted. We had a great time with Malina! The experience was more than just food, it was an opportunity to both get to know the area’s culture and history. We told her our likes, including what foods we had prior to the tour , so that she was really able to design the night around making it a tasty, memorable experience. We had a wonderful tour with Mona through the city center of Warsaw. Mona was so friendly and knew everything about her home city. She told us funfacts about Warsaw as well as historical facts. The food choice was amazing and helped us to get to know the polish kitchen. As my girlfriend is vegetarian, Mona chose in advance only vegetarian option, thabk you for that! Also very nice was that she showed us only spots which were not in the normal touristic area, so that we really could see Warsaw from its propper side. This was a wonderful experience. Our guide Malina was friendly and very informative. As we snacked our way around Warsaw trying a nice variety of delicious local foods, she also shared some local history and helped orient us to the area. We did this on our first day in Warsaw and that was a terrific decision. We were full and happy by the end of the tour. One nice benefit of this private tour is that she customized our stops to suit our preferences and also was able to act as translator with a few locals that we otherwise would have had a very difficult time communicating with. She took us to very local places, told us about the history of the food, as well her memories from eating these foods in her upbringing, which was lovely. Mona was so informative about the history of the city as well as the traditions and history behind the foods and drinks we tried. We toured with her on a Sunday when a few locations were closed but we were still able to stop many places. My husband and I were stuffed by the end of the tour. We had a private tour with Mona who was a pleasure to spend time with on this food tour sharing bits of information as we walked around. We felt the price was high given the types of foods we ate - pierogis, potato pancakes, donuts, pastry, soup, slice of French loaf with topping - all very traditional Polish foods but pretty inexpensive dishes - and some of them shared for 166 Euros. The reason that we booked this tour was of course primarily our interest in the local food. Even if we had quite high expectations from reading former reviews, I must say that we were overvelmed. We were greeted by Mona at our first stop with a warm smile and an energetic hello. Right off from the start, I had a good feeling about this experience and I was not disappointed. Mona walked us around the city and really gave us a local flavour of Warsaw. We had already been in Poland for approximately 5 weeks, tasted a lot of delicious food but she managed to surprise us. The local establishments that she visits made the tour even more special because we love to support the small businesses. Best possible choice to spend our last night in Poland and in Warsaw with Mona. She was genuinely interested in us as clients but more importantly in sharing her love of traditional Polish foods. The 3 hours were not hurried yet we covered a lot of ground. The meeting spot was easy to find and we started with a bakery. Then off to a pierogi place, then a traditional milk bar of course. She even tailored the food choices we hadn’t yet tried over the course of our month in Poland. Then we hopped on a bus and ended up at a vodka tasting bar downtown. We tasted Raspberry, Cherry and Ginger infused vodkas. Then a stroll along Mona’s favourite street to find donuts and finally to a place that had baguettes covered with various toppings. Just a great experience that was perfect!Mona rocks!

Mona hat uns pünktlich am Treffpunkt in Empfang genommen und hatte schon eine Leckerei dabei, die wir aber erst etwas später bekommen sollten.
