Tomislav was a great host. He took us to a food market, a store where we could try Croatian wine and other local treats, multiple restaurants, and showed us many local sights on the way. We had both deep and frivolous discussions throughout. My husband wanted to buy a book by a Croatian author, so Tomislav took us to a bookstore where his wife had held several selections, one of which we got. So we received a very personalized tour. We had a wonderful day with Vlatka! She is so friendly and personable and it was really great to learn about the culture, history, and food from someone who is so connected the city. There is also something special to having a personalized experience that is more like exploring with a friend than someone talking at you. She was great with our kids as well (18, 14, 12) and it really made us appreciate and enjoy Zagreb so much more. I will say - go hungry! We literally were so full we could hardly eat at the last stop and had to take it to go - and we love to eat. Couldn't recommend more!A must-do!

Vlatka was amazing! She was so warm and hospitable from the start. My wife and I really enjoyed her company and her personalized tour for us made for a great start to our trip to Zagreb. As my wife is pregnant Vlatka adapted the food choices for us and we still managed to get a great sampling of an array of Croatian flavors. My wife was especially happy to taste various items made with truffles. I really enjoyed the stuffed peppers. There was no issue with quantity. We booked our 3 hour tour with Tomislav with the hope of having a good experience and learning a bit more about Zagreb; Tomislav ensured that we had perhaps the best tour experience of our lives. Both my girlfriend and I felt comfortable, engaged, and interested; Tomislav knew the right amount of detail and information to provide about each site and made sure that our experience was both full of pictures (he is a great photographer!) as well as new knowledge about the city. He is a deeply caring tour guide who will take your queue for how much / how little to engage or push and will show you the best restaurants and bars across the city. Vi var en grupp på 6 personer som beställde en food tour i Zagreb. Initialt vid bokning hade jag mejl kontakt med vår guide för att reda ut några frågor, fick snabba och bra svar! Antonio, vår guide visade sig vara både flexibel och lösningsbenägen. Tydliga direktiv fick vi om var vi ses och hans guidning genom Zagreb blev en mycket fin upplevelse. Vi besökte platser vi nog aldrig hade fått se annars och definitivt inte med den mycket breda historiska bakgrund som Antonio försedde oss med. Allt som allt en mycket positiv upplevelse om än ganska lång, då vi drog över tiden-säkert med de bästa intentioner - men man kan bara ta in si och så mycket! Det vi ser som förbättringspotential är maten. Absolut jättegod mat men det blev chark och ost två gånger, vi hade nog förväntat oss varm mat på restaurangen. I alla fall en annan sorts mat än vid första stoppet. Och bara två stopp på en food tour är lite magert och till det priset med 6 personer, vi hade förväntat oss mer. Men annars var touren mycket trevlig och rekommenderas! Chark och guidning i Zagreb

Not really a food tour, but a very informative history of Croatia walking tour. We had 3 food stops, all very similar entrées (meats and Cheeses and a glass of wine). Our guide, Antonio was very friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The tour is falsely advertised as food tour - we were expecting to be introduced to the many culinary flavors and traditions of Zagreb, Croatia. What we got was an extensive and informative walking tour of the history of a Croatia with a few meat and cheese snacks. Misleading
