We begonnen helaas een kwartier te laat, gids was nog onderweg met de metro. Daarna de tocht begonnen, en naar onze smaak en mening wel erg veel geschiedenis, ik overdrijf niet als er wel 50 jaartallen/eeuwen voorbij zijn gekomen. De stops bij diverse bezienswaardigheden waren ook relatief lang waardoor je minder fietst en dus ook minder ziet. De local drink die ons was toegezegd hebben we heelaas ook moeten missen. Hierdoor vinden we de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding helaas niet wat deze moet zijn voor dit bedrag.Leuk, maar relatief weinig gefietst.

Had a wonderful time with Aukool on Velib bikes in Paris. An interesting half day tour went by quickly as we got on and off the city bikes and learned about Paris history and food culture from a knowledgeable, fun and engaging guide. The pace was good and we felt safe as we cycled the bike paths. Highly recommended. Will take a foodie tour with Anukool when we return! Great time biking in Paris

It would be difficult not to connect with Giedre. You'll delight in her joy of Paris' many hidden spots. More than once on the tour, we ducked from the busy main road into a magical courtyard the hurried passers-by missed entirely. Some of them, seeing her, did the same. They always had an expression of wonder that said, "I never knew this was here!" All our cares were gone, as we knew we were in good hands. Welly was excellent. We were on a river cruise and had a day in Paris; we were entirely tired of being herded and shearing the earphones provided so we decided not to do the tours offered by the ship and book privately at the last minute (same day!!) I made a tourist mistake while booking (got the district mixed up) and Welly immediately got into action and recommended an alternative. He was very gracious and even picked us up at our hotel! He arrived promptly and we started our tour going on the subway (cool experience); he showed us how to buy tickets and gave us other tips. Very informative. For the next 3 hours we walked, talked, asked questions, stopped as needed, learned a ton and he’s super helpful, knowledgeable and speaks perfect English! I can’t say enough good things about Welly and our overall experience. Amazing Day in Paris

This was our first time booking withlocals! I went with my intuition and booked with Anukool and I'm so happy I did. I saw that he had a love a history and so does my Husband. What I didn't know was that he also has a fashion degree which comes with its own history and is perfect for Paris! He was able to keep the attention of my Husband and my three teen girls. He even went out of his way to help us navigate the Paris Metro system, helping us buy our tickets to Versailles and Disney Paris. He suggested buying our return tickets at the same time so we didn't wait in a line when returning. Anakool has so much to offer with his world traveling, fashion background and his love of history. In just a few minutes Welly assessed what we wanted from our tour. We are a couple interested in history and architecture and his guide and explanations were perfect for us. Without giving too much away he included several locations which we would never have dreamed of visiting and which blew us away. Any question we asked he was able to answer. He also gave recommendations on where else to prioritise visits in the additional 2 days we had in Paris and also provide some recommendations on places to eat. Friends who had recently been to Paris recommended Withlocals, and after looking through all the guides we decided to go with Giedre. She was excellent! She was waiting for us at the designated spot with a smile on her face, and spent just over 3 hours taking us on a personal walking tour through Paris, with some stops along the way to for some quick shopping or to grab a drink at our request. Her knowledge and passion about the history and architecture of Paris was apparent from the start, and she had a great ability to share the history and stories of all the places we passed in such an interesting way and answer our questions. It was really fun exploring Paris with a local, and she was full of helpful little tidbits of information, like when we took the Metro together to one spot she told us to make sure our pockets were zipped and our bags were held close because of pickpocketing, or took us to a street with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower that tourists don't frequent but where the locals like to go. She also shared some of her own personal recommendations for areas to visit, restaurants she loves, good places to buy posters or grab a cafe latte. She curated the tour a bit based on some of the things we wanted to see and do, and at the end dropped us off at an amazing cafe that won the award for the best croissants in Paris in 2023 where we had an incredible lunch. I would highly recommend Withlocals for an elevated experience touring Paris, and if you do a walking tour, you can't go wrong with Giedre. She's absolutely lovely and delightful and is sure to make your tour a wonderful afternoon in Paris. Amazing guide and experience

I feel awful giving a negative review, but I wish I had come across more critical reviews of this tour. All three people in my party were really disappointed with this tour. To give credit, Anukool was flexible and allowed for us to move along to the next spot if we weren't interested or extend if we wanted to stay longer in an area. He was *very* flexible. The stops on this tour were mediocre at best. We arrived hungry and the tour began with an overly sweet dessert from a popular chain, then we went to a quiche our guide bought at a window and we ate outside in the rain, and next was oysters. It didn't feel well thought-out regarding order of food and the quality was subpar. Furthermore, we expected to meet a local with a bubbly personality who may customize based on who we were and what we were interested in. Our guide was an expat who talked about the history and asked few questions. He was really knowledgeable, but for us, the tour fell flat. We really liked the area. Ultimately, we wanted to be captivated by our tour guide, have a generous amount of curiosity sparked on our end, and leave feeling like we ate foods we wouldn't have found on our own. Honestly, we expected a more for the money

Iza was a fun, knowledgeable guide for my first visit and tour of Paris. While many places were not open as it was a Monday, she still incorporated as many outdoor attractions as possible- gardens, streetscapes, etc, all the while sharing interesting perspectives on what we were seeing.
